Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Lubbock

The entire floor smelled of marijuana the entire time we were there. Rock music blaring in the lobby area, could barely hear the desk clerk speaking to me at check in. Room was decently clean but poor maintenance across the entire property. Everything just looks tattered and worn. 7am fire alarm went off. The location is convenient for getting on TTU campus but area is very sketchy!

The room had a bad smell, like a wet dog or animal smell. The floors weren’t clean and the bathroom wasn’t clean. Hair and dirt on the bathroom floor, hadn’t been swept or mopped and the sink counter was dirty. Kitchen counter was dirty as well. Dogs were barking on the floor at 11pm-midnight which is pretty unacceptable.

Great hotel. We always book here.

Clean room. Friendly staff. Good hot breakfast. Good coffee
