STIFFORD CLAYS FARM HOTEL

The hotel was undergoing maintenance which wasn’t made clear at the time of booking. Staff walked into our room without knocking. No clean towels were given unless asked for and there was hardly anyone around to ask. Staff were drinking cans of Stella on premises. Did not feel wanted at the hotel at all

Filthy, someone else’s hair in the bed, staff arguing until 1am, freezing cold and shower did not work.

Arrived to check in and there was a wedding party in progress. The proprietor had obviously double booked our room as he very quickly offered us a full refund but we were going to a party and had nowhere else to stay. They put us up in what was probably a member of staff’s quarters after they had removed the pizza boxes and other rubbish. The room was quite comfortable if noisy due to a window with no latch. There was quite a bit of writing on the wall which luckily given our state after the party was quite amusing.

Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone

Perfect friendly welcome from the lovely girl on reception, was transfered from a local crack den called Stifford Clays farm due to double booked so was so relieved to stay in such a nice hotel with friendly pleasant staff, would certainly stay here again
