Four Points by Sheraton Winnipeg South

This is a great place to stay. They were in the middle of repairs/upgrades so it wasn’t 100% up to snuff on looks but it is in the works so it will be great once it’s all finished.

Pool was not heated! Too cold to use. Hotel description not helpful; thought breakfast was included in the price.

This will probably be our new place to stay when we go to winnipeg. 99.9% of the stay was amazing! For the price this was a GREAT stay and we will 100% be back. Pros - front desk staff were super friendly and quick - room was super nice, clean, cute little extras like cookie and water - we had dinner at the resturant and it was fantastic, awesome selection of craft beers, food was delish, servers were great - pool area and pool was awesome - loved the level of security that your card onky brought you to your floor plus pool and ground - parking was well lit and plentiful - breakfast was amazing and our room rate included a breakfast voucher so it cost us $5 and was amazing. Literally the only little **i did read others say the hot tub/whirlpool wasnt great Some jets were super strong the others not so much, and wish it was warmer but thats a tiny detail.

the hot tub was not working looking forward to a little relaxation and was disappointed

We enjoyed the available 110 outlets for charging our EV; the quiet atmosphere of the hotel and restaurant and the great food and service in the restaurant. The pool and hot tub was clean and tidy. If required, we would stay here again.

Very pleasant stay experience, the swimming pool and fitness facilities are complete, the restaurant staff are very enthusiastic, making us feel the warmth of home.

The staff were very friendly, the room was immaculate and tended to daily.

The lobby and halls were clean, check in staff were friendly. Server in the restaurant was great, food was good. Our room however wasn’t the cleanest, blood on the toilet. Check out time is noon, but at 1115 we had the cleaning ladies walk into our room, no knocking, just walked in!

The lobby area is nice but deceiving as the room was very old and smelled horrible, comparable to a gym locker room and mould. I asked the front desk if we could switch rooms but there was nothing they could do. No other compensation was offered to help remedy this situation. I will never stay here again.

The Air Conditioner was noisey, that is the only issue. Excellent renovation, on-site restaurant and menu is very good. Parking is also good.

Noise issue. - Room was on the second floor above the air conditioner and a few doors down from the pool. Should have requested a room change.

Quick overnight stay for our family. Checked in, went to room, didn’t leave room until we checked out the next morning. Desk agent was super polished and polite. Room was a bit dated, but very clean. Room was across from elevator and we were afraid of noise, but the only noise came from the AC in the room. TV easy to figure out.

I really like this hotel and have stayed here numerous times. Unfortunately, this time my room 219 had a very nasty view. I had the pleasure of looking out over the numerous A/C roof top vents and their dripping entertainment. Otherwise this hotel has everything going for it. If you stay here try not to be on the 2nd floor odd number rooms as I think the majority of rooms on this floor are facing this view. Or at best see if you can get a rate reduction because of it.

Overall the hotel was good. I was placed on the top floor which was really nice. However, the top floor hasn't undergone renovations yet, unlike some other floors, so the decor was quite dated/old feeling. No big deal, as most of the time there was spent sleeping. There was one issue with the room that did not get resolved while I was there. But front desk staff made it right in the end. Because of this good customer service, I'm going to be staying there again next month, in one of their newly renovated rooms.

This is an older hotel that has done some updates. Nice that there is a bar/ restaurant on site. Rooms lack storage. There is a free standing wardrobe closet, but no luggage racks. There is no way to hang a towel in the the washroom ( except for a hand towel rod or the shower rod). Same for bathing suits and hanging toiletry bags. Nevertheless, a comfortable stay.

Rooms were clean and spacious Just wish they would move a step ahead and put shower wands in the rooms.

The hotel and amenities were great. The room had comfortable beds and was very quiet. The bath room was tiny with no counter space and the bedroom had no place to hang clothes. The compact fridge was indeed compact with very little room to put anything. Over all not worth the price.

We’ve stayed here before, and it doesn’t disappoint. The location is excellent, and the restaurant is not only convenient, but also serve delicious meals. The standout this time was Jason at the front desk. He was so helpful. Thank you.

Was great, with one confusing thing - the front desk seemed unaware that our stay came with breakfast included. We had to prove that that's what our reservation stated!

Other than check-in everything was great, room and staff were excellent, but need more workers at check-in

You can’t visit other floors unless you use the stairs. For our family with little ones that was a little bit frustrating hauling babies and strollers on the stairs. If we knew that we would of stayed else where, this is a very sad Sheraton Our large group decided to have dinner in the restaurant, and it took at least 45 minutes to get a drink. Most of our food came out long before our drinks came. There was not a whole lot of people in there, and the waitress made it very clear she was short staffed. They only have two luggage carts, so you do wait a while to use them and then when you do get one and go to the parking lot with your luggage it is filled with homeless people in the back asking for cigarettes The shower in our room was very weak, and the toilet ran all night. There was hair in the bathtub. This property is just not a four points by Sheraton standard We had asked if the front desk could call us a cab and was told no we had to do it ourselves and not being from the city. We had to go back to the room and Google it. The whole way speakers blared crap music all night and kept the kids up When we went down to the front desk to complain, only one person in our group was given a free breakfast, but couldn’t use it as we had to check out The pool area was disgusting. There is so much hair on the floor. We will never choose this property again, and I will advise all of my clients not to choose this location also.

The stay was fine except for not getting our room cleaned until we called them to do it. Otherwise, our room was forgotten.

The check in was terrible. We booked four rooms but was charged for five rooms by mistake. Refund is yet to be made. The rate included breakfast. Unfortunately, it came with a maximum amount which was i adequate and limited. For the first time i found breakfast not in a buffet setup. It should have been clarified before booking. The rooms were nice and clean

The hotel staff were super helpful and really friendly. Had one small issue and the General Manager dealt with it right away. Would recommend this hotel to everyone. We were really happy with our stay

Located on major street, easy access to shopping. The fridge in the room is very small and does not have a freezer compartment, which is needed when we travel.

Stay was good, staff friendly, available parking, near Winnipeg south area was convenient for event in similar area

Have stayed many times in the past bit not for a few years. Not as kept up as it use to be and area is not good. Several cars broken into during out stay and couldnt even get a call from the manager to discuss the break in or see camera footage. Wont stay again.

A very clean, quiet hotel with a great pool area. The complimentary cookie and water were simple but very much appreciated little touches. Great dinner and breakfast options available on-site. Great for a stop on our road trip as we didnt have to drive far into the city.

Breakfast can be improved with more options. There was noise coming from some works either in the hotel or outside and it was not quiet. Homeless people annoy guests at the door and around the parking area

The location is not favourable for tourists. Additionally they should introduce better cuisine and complementary breakfast options. Moreover, loved the hospitality of the staff as they are friendly and courteous.

South winnipeg, away from downtown.

Stayed for an overnight stop while travelling west. Convenient access off and back on to Highway west.

Location convenient to our activities while visiting Winnepeg. One nice touch added security to utilize elevators to access our room floor. Mixed on what might be considered minor items and that is yes there is a refrigerator; but it is very compact! Plus, no microwave. Also, while it is nice to have a complimentary cookie for the room -- there was three of us staying room. Again there are very minor items because everything else about our stay was positive.

Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Rooms were bright and clean. Great food in the large spacious restaurant where the service was amazing! I stay in a lot of hotels and this was one of best! Will definitely stay here again.

For the nightly rate, I fail to understand how taking an elevator to deliver room service would require a $2 charge in addition to the gratuity. Had one of the main dishes for supper and it was awful. Coffee was so-so. Too expensive overall.
