Hampton Inn New York - LaGuardia Airport

Parking was limited and garage was a bit pricey but over it was good.

They offer a pool on the booking and you have to go to the hotel crossing the Parking lot (double tree hotel pool)

Great stay, though the pool is at the Plaza hotel next door, which came as a surprise for us.

Parking condition was little difficult $30 for garage parking, so did park on the street

Very close to LGA, reliable shuttle service

The airport shuttles passes every 20 minutes!

Parking sucks there is no parking which is misleading in description of hotel . I was please with the room and breakfast

This was a perfect stay the night before a flight from LaGuardia. They had a shuttle that we didn’t need, and a delicious breakfast that we did! The parking if you were not leaving a car there was only $10.

They asked how often we wanted the room cleaned and every other day was agreed upon but the room was never cleaned once. We had to ask for toilet tissue. Disappointed since we’ve only had good experiences with Hampton Inn. Upon check out the receptionist just stood there, no greeting or even asking if we were checking out. When I explained we were checking out, again he didn’t speak and I never got the receipt I asked for.

Took a long time for hot water to get to shower; in room TV did not work at all.

My daughter's room didn't have hot water in the shower but did have warm water in the sink. They moved her to a new room which didn't have hot water in the shower or even warm water in the sink. It's an older property, and this may signal a need to make changes.

They are upgrading the hotel, but hot water system went sideways. So we could not shower for the whole period we booked. They did promise. To refund 2 of the 3 nights that we booked through Expedia.

Room was very dated and had issue with hot water due to dial not being properly working. Shower frame was peeling and needs to be replaced. Service levels were not customer focused.

Check-in went great. The staff was very nice and gave us a Hilton Honors goodie bag to take up to the room. The room was spacious with a small coffee maker, average size bathroom and two double beds. Lighting was good, the pillows were amazing, and the mattress was very comfortable. The only problem we had with the room was there was no hot water for the shower at 9 PM. We arrive late due to an incoming international flight and wanted to shower, but there was no hot water. The breakfast the next morning was good. There were not many healthy options, i.e. milk alternatives, gluten-free or vegan. The shuttle was on time and very efficient. The shuttle driver was exceptional, very very nice. Check out was smooth and easy. I simply dropped my keys in. When we called about the hot water issue, we were told that they would give us the room half price but I paid through Hotels.com so I'm not sure how to do that. Please advise.

Distinct mold odor

Sign at the desk said the rooms would be made every other day. I asked for thr room to be made up once for my 2 night stay. The manager said no problem. After returning to my room late on the second day, the room was not cleaned. Called the desk and they said housekeeping service was gone for the evening. Say what you'll do and then do what you say. .

Hot water issues. Had 2 take cold showers

Check in: The military agency booked my service. I had a receipt of confirmation. The hotel did not have a reservation for me, and refused to give the “tax exempt” military fare despite presenting military orders. Parking: My room key did not work at entry scanner. I had to pull the car back around, and go see the desk agent to have fixed. WiFi: Does not work. When entering my name and room number, it did not work. When I went downstairs to have this fixed, the line of 6 people (only one desk agent present) detoured me. Forget it…… Room service: Requested my room to be serviced with extra regular coffee pods to be left in the room. Neither were provided. I can back to an un-serviced room and zero coffee for the next day.

Clean and quiet. No fridge in room. Decent breakfast.

The walls are paper thin! Like really thin. We had to be up at 4am and the people above us were extremely loud. I’m up from the 3rd bang and kids running around now writing this. I love the staff. They were very happy and it’s a great location. I didn’t get sleep!

The room was super cool and I couldn’t turn off the AC. Felt deep frozen.

Staff and overall property is great, good free buffet hot breakfast. excellent location. Problems with the recently upgraded newly installed TVs in the guest rooms only permit streaming type services. simple local news and other channels not reachable. Services requesting user login and monthly charges to hotel guess. staff could not fix.

WiFi connection was terrible , my beds were broken , no fridge nor microwave in rooms , one of your staff members named Sam was very unprofessional and had made a rude comment towards us and to top it off venting machines had EXPIRED drinks. I will never in my life recommend anyone to stay here or even stay there myself . For 400$ it was NOT WORTH a single penny .

I liked that this hotel was very close to the airport so getting there was quick and easy. However, this hotel must be a bit older because there was no fan or window in the bathroom. I’m guessing this caused the mildew smell in the room we stayed in and the moist feeling in the entire room. This made me feel like it was unclean.

I was very disappointed there was no microwave or refrigerator in the room, very disappointed for a Hilton product…. I paid alot for that room and I feel like I should be compensated for the inconvenience. I could not even keep water in the room.

Clean, comfortable room. Walls are thin and pillows are like pancakes.

We checked in at 1:00 am. The front desk person acted as though we were an inconvenience to him. No microwave in the room so the soup we purchased downstairs had to be heated downstairs then carried up to our room.

After a flight cancellation, having to find a hotel close to the airport, and dealing with the stress of all that it was so nice to deal with the amazing girl working at the front desk. She was absolutely the best!

They double booked our room, deactivated our key cards and strangers walked in on us just as we got back to the room. They could have stolen our property and the hotel didn’t even care at all.

We arrived late and exhausted after a 19 hour flight. Hassle-free checking was what we needed!

Room was clean. Only amenity was a mini bar of soap. Not even bottles of water by the coffee maker, although we were given a few at reception. Room did not have a fridge or safe (if it did, I couldn't find it). Check-in was a nightmare. Check-in time advertised was 3PM, we got there at 3PM and was told there were no rooms available as they're being cleaned. Which led to bunch of other families waiting in the lobby with for an hour for rooms, some of which were lucky enough to get rooms earlier because they happened to ask when a room became available, so they were given keys. Even though we were there way before them. So I asked if I could give them my number and they call me when rooms are available (we needed 2) because we had places to be, and ONLY THEN did they take a piece of paper and go around asking other guests for their numbers to call. It all just felt incredibly disorganized. Free breakfast is offered buffet style and the selection is as expected, but we got there an hour before breakfast ends and almost every pan was empty. More guests were coming to get breakfast and we pretty much had to scavenge for food. I can understand maybe 1 or 2 pans being empty and being replenished in like 10 minutes, but EVERY HOT FOOD WAS EMPTY. They started replenishing as we were leaving. Overall a very frustrating and disappointed experience.

The hotel is clean, but frequently the front desk was not staffed. Moreover, when it was, the clerk was unprofessional. The breakfast was also late and had limited options. Management, if you're listening, you had better wake up. I've stayed at this property twice and the first experience was much better. I'll be looking for other options next time.

Upon checking in, I was the only one there and the receptionist was on a phone call but stayed on the phone for 5 minutes before checking me in. 5 minutes might not seem like a big deal but after getting off a 9 hour flight and staying at an airport hotel - I was expecting some quicker service. Then another couple showed up 30 seconds after she was finally able to help me and she then called for someone to come and help and that man was just flat out rude. The Checkin experience was horrible. Upon getting to my room - there was all this noise coming from the cleaning crew across the hall for about 30 minutes. Then at 3:30am a fire alarm sound started going off for a few seconds waking me up. All in all - horrible service for the price of this stay won’t be returning.

Super close location to airport. You’ll hear the planes, but not if you’re tired and need to just sleep. Pretty moderate in price, and amenities.

10 minute walk to LaGuardia AirPort. 30 minute walk to the #7 train to Manhattan. Very convenient. And they have complimentary breakfast.

So close to Laguardia and the Astoria Ferry terminal! The hotels airport shuttle was wonderful and on time. We took a car service to and from the ferry. The ferry took us to Manhattan where we had a wonderful day. NYC ferry system is only $4 each way. Highly recommend! We sat on the top and watched the lights come on in the city. Wouldn't do Manhattan any other way. Stay at this hotel or the sister property, Laguardia Plaza hotel. They share the shuttle. Plus our drivers had no problem finding the hotels.

Directly across the highway from LaGuardia, but well insulated so we were not disturbed by flight traffic noise. Clean and everything in the room worked well

rooms were clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast could have more variety. Meat for folks who dont eat pork saugage.

Staff were very friendly! Breakfast was great and it was free! The only reason I didn’t rate it excellent is because the room wasn’t all clean when we arrived. Couple of small trash items were left behind by prior guests and the bed sheets were still humid and wet. Maybe AC needs to be kept on all times during New York hot weathers so the room items do not damp.

Friendly staff and great service. The breakfast was simple but filling and there was a decent selection to choose from. Shuttles came about every 30 minutes and were clean and drivers friendly. Front desk was great about directions and suggestions - even went above and beyond by asking other staff when they didn't have a specific answer. Location to LGA was perfect.

Love there breakfast options and property in fair condition

AC wall unit kept showing an error message but the actual unit was operable. The breakfast options were limited and the staff were rude. The shut the doors and juice unit right at 10 am while we were still trying to get food. In addition, I waited in line for waffles to it felt like 20 minutes and when it was my turn, they ran out of batter, which the staff said that they were not refill.

Had a great stay. Good breakfast included, easy to navigate to/from airport, and multiple ride share options very close. Clean room and comfy bed. Staff were accommodating and the free shuttle to/from airport was great.
