This was not at all what we expected. The property's view of the ocean is blocked by another hotel. Our hotel wasn't as bad, but the hotel next to us must've had some rowdy parties and guests. We could hear yelling and music. Parking was packed. We had to circle the small lot 3x to find a spot. The pool was closed, and it said there was a viewpoint on the 6th floor, but there was no access. Also, never heard of a Holiday Inn not serving free continental breakfast. You could only dine for a fee. I should've paid attention to the amenities. I had also booked a king but wasn't told there were none available at check-in. Didn't find out until we opened the room to find 2 doubles. The sink near the fridge also didn't drain. The walls were fairly thin. We could hear everything above us and to the sides of us.

Hotel is an easy 5 min walk from Oceanside Harbour and beach. Plenty parking at hotel. Good own use laundry facility. Rooms great size. Didnt have breakfast here as a Dennys 100yds away. Pool small but ok as you will be at the beach. Room cleaning doesnt exist, they say its because of covid and not wanting the cleaners in, truthfully... they wete knocking on the door at 8 on day of departure to clean so no! Its cost cutting on the hotels behalf and its all hotels, really poor on this as the cost doesnt reflect not having this. I would stop here again.

Location is great. Just a 5 minute walk to the harbor, beach, and nice restaurants. I highly recommend the Stratford at the Harbor for breakfast. We ordered the lobster Benedict, the savory crepes, and cappuccino and my 9 year old son got the kids pancake, and everything was delicious! Lastly the hot tub and pool are really nice.

Great location, older HI with improvements, good size room with two queens, old bathroom, tight shower with no curved shower rod, clumsy tv/cable interface, great beds and terrific ac unit. In room coffee forgettable, no other e service, restaurant onsite for extra, great parking, nice little pool and spa. Overall, solid stay and good value.

I like that it is close to the harbor and it's centrally located, close to the freeway. I didn't like that there where loose tiles on the shower floor and I didn't see them and I stepped on them and it hurt . I also didn't like that the tv remote wasn't working they did come promptly and took about 20 minutes to figure out what was wrong and they fixed it. I was trying to sleep but people kept talking out loud in the hallway and woke me up. I've stayed here before and didn't encounter any problems except they closed the pool on a summer day , I wasn't able to enjoy the pool.

Everything was great during our stay! The room was spacious, clean, and odor free. The lobby was clean and always welcoming. The staff was attentive and very nice. They have an onsite washers/dryers which worked out to our advantage because we needed to wash our son’s soccer uniform! Overall everything was great, and the local restaurants and beach are very close to the hotel!

Fine location near the pier made for enjoyable walks in the mornings. Room was clean enough and room was spacious, but the property is showing its age. We never received any kind of full housekeeping service - clean towels were hard to come by, beds were never turned over during or fire night, and the front desk was slow to respond to requests. The property bar was closed/shut down - despite continuing to advertise it as an amenity. Overall pretty disappointing.

all the staff were courteous and very nice and helpful. the rooms were large. Decent for a 3-4 star hotel. Clean enough but not real clean. The sink for bathroom was small and water pooled seemed uneven.

Great location, property clean and safe. We did find a homeless man sleeping in the stairwell but the front desk responded immediately and seemed very concerned on how he got in. Security does appear to be a important topic. Our room was clean. But we had ask for more towels, we had 4 people but got 3 towels, but they did send them right away. Our light bulb on the night stand was burnt out and the temperature control didn’t go below 70. It was way hotter then 70 in our room, the hallway was freezing compared to our room. The weather was cooler so we just opened a few windows, but I would be concerned during the hotter time of year. That room would be hot!! I would definitely stay again, nothing is ever perfect, and staff did seem to care and want to assist, so that is high in my book. Good value for the cost and again the issues were frustrating but most were taken care of. I would recommend to a friend or family member.

We were in the area for a wedding on Camp Pendleton and this hotel was a short and easy trip to the base. We were close to the marina and the beach area. The hotel staff was amazingly kind and we had a great stay.

The location was so convenient! We were a short 5 minute walk to Oceanside Harbor Beach. There were several dining options there, as well as a coffee shop. The staff was nice and always made a point to greet us. The room was clean and comfortable with blackout blinds. We loved the observatory on the 6th floor where we could see the ocean. The hotel is close to Oceanside and Camp Pendleton as well. Overall, a very nice stay.

Loved the location. Close to the harbor and to Camp Pendleton main gate. Our room was clean and bed was fantastic. Closet was a bit musty smelling so did not hang our clothes but other then that our stay was wonderful and we will definitely stay there again.

Staff was not very friendly pretty dismissive actually when asking any questions. Walkable path to shopping and restaurants was very nice. For the price breakfast in my opinion should be included. There is no bar- it’s a 4 Ft counter w three - four stools. It was never manned the entire weekend.

All staff are exceptional and really want to help make your stay a comfortable one. Breakfast was good and although we didn’t have time to use the pool ir looked clean and inviting. This location is very close to freeway so it met all our needs. Would definitely recommend.
