Nice hotel very pretty but the elevator is way out of the way. I don’t have to like to walk all the way down to the end of the building to get in. The elevator seems strange that it would not be closer to the lobby. I have a knee injury, so it was just too much for me, then to get in the elevator and have to walk again to the end of the hall to my room just is ridiculous

This was a convenient and easy stay. I appreciated the free parking right at the hotel. Check in and check out were very quick. There is an ice machine on every floor. The room was spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of seating for the breakfast crowd and there were plenty of options.

The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good, nice variety. But for $154/night, the hotel should have been kept up properly. The indoor pool was disgusting, it had particles of I don’t know what floating around in it and a couple of times someone’s floating hair got caught in my fingers! And the next day, we noticed my 1 y/o grandson had little white bumps on his legs. Also, it was so warm in the halls, almost like the air conditioning was broken but it did get nice and cold in the room. The headboards had rips in the material and some of the lights weren’t working. I don’t know, I was expecting a better experience but I know I wouldn’t stay there again or recommend this hotel to anyone.

They room was very spacious and comfortable, the shower was extremely nice and the indoor pool and bar were great night activities. I also enjoyed the breakfast and it's nearby a lot of the areas I wanted to go to so it was very convenient! All of the staff were very kind and helpful and the snack market was also a nice addition to finish off the night. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and will come back again whenever I visit Charlotte.

The location is convenient and room was spacious, but that’s about it for the good. At 1:30am, even with ear plugs in, i was awoken by the extremely loud heater. I turned it off and then that noise was replaced by the very loud lobby music coming from the entrance (I was in room 208 above that). Herman at the hotel desk answered my first call and said he would look into it…I called back 15 minutes later and he said that not only could he not turn the music off, he couldn’t even turn it down. He gave me the number for the manager which didn’t work. So, I called Hotels.com customer service who was even more rude & unhelpful. The supervisor hung up on me because I said ‘freakin’ ridiculous, yelling at me that I was swearing at her, that’s not a swear word! She literally could hear the music I was complaining about and says, it’s not that loud…are you kidding me?! So I was up for 3 hours in the middle of the night, not able to get hardly any sleep and checked out promptly come sun rise. Ramona at checkout who I complained to about Herman and my terrible night and let her listen to the videos of the noises said she would’ve moved my room as that was awful. She said she would let the manager know, and told me the number Herman gave me was a fax number, but a week later and still no response.

We loved the location, but the room was all dusty and dirty. It was disappointing, since by the time we checked in it was 11:30pm and we were so exhausted that we just needed to pass out and wake up early to leave. Also, there was something up with the plumbing. A few times when we turned on the sink in the toilet room, it started shaking and banging really loud. It was a beautiful hotel and we loved the layout of the room, but we were just disappointed that the hotel room was all dusty and dirty, plus the plumbing had an issue. Oh - and there were only 3 towels for 4 people. It was too late, so my husband and I just shared a hotel.

TLDR: Don't Stay here. Roaches and lack of following through on promises. Edit: even after calling multiple times still no refund. DO NOT STAY HERE! We didn't stay for long, for there was a roach in our first room. Front desk moved us to a different room. However it was on the same floor! Just down the hall. Then while checking that room, it was not properly cleaned. Change and jewelry around the beds. Went down to front desk, they told me to call my 3rd party I did and the front desk agent told over the phone refund is promised. Also phone was ringing off the hook with noone thre for a while. One desk agent is ridiculous. Obviously overworked. The hotel has now changed their mind and is not giving refund. We weren't there even 20minutes. I am rethinking all future Marriott stays. The first time I have ever had an issue with Marriott....and this leaves the worst taste in my mouth.

This property is beautiful. It is clean, quiet and well kept. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is that, out of the 5 days I stayed there, the housekeeper came in only 1 time to change linen and trash. She came the day before i left and asked if i needed anything and I told her yes and she said she would be back but never returned. Other than that, the front desk crew were very pleasent at each greeting.

There was a bug infestation problem at this location. The bugs were small 1/4 inch, flat beetle like bugs. There were at least 5 that I killed. This is the worst part. When i atrived home and was unpacking my luggage one of thr bugs flew out and headed straight to my daughters room. Will NEVER NEVER NEVER stay here again.

Great Stay - two minor call outs, my room (327) was missing an outlet cover. When I used that outlet, there were sparks. Also, the book light on the bed did not work. Neither of these things were a big deal to me, but you should know this two things need to be fixed. The room was clean and comfortable.

Construction going on next door with hammering til dark and starts up again early morning. Our a/c unit was so loud we could not use it. Comfy beds and nice fridge, microwave and coffeemaker in room. Excellent large breakfast in the lobby.

Staff is very nice. Rooms are clean and updated. Beds are very comfortable. It was quiet in the room even though the hotel was bustling with families and kids in town for a baseball tournament. My only gripes are that: (1) the room was a little narrower than most suites I've stayed in--it felt a little cramped; and (2) the breakfast was a little more limited in options than the standard hotel breakfast

Hotel is clean, modern and attractive. Check-in was terrible - said I already had a room when I just arrived; could not find my request for an end room; first gave me a room near the elevator; then said to wait an hour for them to find me a room. Not at all what you might expect or hope for.

The location is convenient and room was spacious, but that’s about it for the good. At 1:30am, even with ear plugs in, i was awoken by the extremely loud heater. I turned it off and then that noise was replaced by the very loud lobby music coming from the entrance (I was in room 208 above that). Herman at the hotel desk answered my first call and said he would look into it…I called back 15 minutes later and he said that not only could he not turn the music off, he couldn’t even turn it down. He gave me the number for the manager which didn’t work. So, I called Hotels.com customer service who was even more rude & unhelpful. The supervisor hung up on me because I said ‘freakin’ ridiculous, yelling at me that I was swearing at her, that’s not a swear word! She literally could hear the music I was complaining about and says, it’s not that loud…are you kidding me?! So I was up for 3 hours in the middle of the night, not able to get hardly any sleep and checked out promptly come sun rise. Ramona at checkout who I complained to about Herman and my terrible night and let her listen to the videos of the noises said she would’ve moved my room as that was awful. She said she would let the manager know, and told me the number Herman gave me was a fax number, but a week later and still no response.

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Room layout was nice, with a sofa, desk, and space to walk around the bed. Shower pressure was great. Toilet was small, small as not your average height, which makes it uncomfortable for tall people. Breakfast was typical, sausages, bagels, oatmeal, yoghurt and a waffle maker. Not very plentiful like other places. Night shift was pretty indifferent. There were no carts available, when we asked an employee he said they had but he didn’t know where to find them. He didn’t offer himself to ask around. Then a couple of other people around the front desk saw me struggling taking things and nobody offered help. Check in was fast but an AI would have probably been more welcoming. Stay was fine. Price was right. Not planning to come back in the near future. Customer service is important for me. If you don’t care much. I recommend.

Last night, I had 4 bottle of Aquafina waters charged to my room. I got my receipt today, after flying back home. I called the hotel in hopes of correcting the issue. The young lady who answered the phone was short, and rude. She stated that “The best that she could do is leave a note for the manager to look into. I only work once every two weeks and I don’t know who worked last night.” Her tone was not friendly and she hung up without even finalizing our conversation. All other staff were very hospitable. This part time staff isn’t customer service material.

Stayed here before and the hotel is very good super friendly check in and the rooms are very spacious and well equipped. Everywhere is super clean and the bathroom immaculate. Only issue we had was that the hotel was full of young teenagers on a hockey event who took over the entire hotel they were so noisy unruly and out of control and the parents clearly didn’t do anything to control them they were as rowdy and obnoxious. Breakfast was dreadful they all took up the entire area and lobby with nowhere to sit plus there was no food left on the two occasions we went to look. The staff wouldn’t be able to cope with that. Not really fair on full paying guests. I would stay again and recommend providing no groups of sports teams!

This is a nice facility. And our second stay while visiting Charlotte for shows at the Amp Ballentyne. My only issue was that breakfast cuts off at 9:30 sharp. I made it to the lobby at 9:32 and the cleanup person already had everything wrapped up. Didnt even offer a pastery or fruit.

This was a convenient and easy stay. I appreciated the free parking right at the hotel. Check in and check out were very quick. There is an ice machine on every floor. The room was spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of seating for the breakfast crowd and there were plenty of options.

Nice and clean. The only thing I did not like was seeing the lady that works in the kitchen come out with gloves on and put her hands in the trash can to push the trash down and with the same gloves on immediately start touching food trays.
