The room we stayed in had a strong perfume scent that gave me a migraine the first night. Smoke detector was on TV stand with no battery in it. Missing a lightbulb from one of the bedside lamps. Could tell the little sample size shampoo/ conditioner had been previously used. The hand wash sink water temperature was opposite what you normally see. Hot was to the right and cold to the left. The knob to turn on the shower was almost coming out of the wall. The hot tub had grass, dirt and sand in it. The vending machine had warm sodas and expired snacks. I stay at hotels for the experience so I don’t think I’ll stay at this one again.

I made an online reservation for an accessable room. I called to confirm the reservation. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told there was no accessable rooms available, and our room was on the 2nd floor (no elevators). We were given the option to relocate to the Days Inn down the road, since it's the same owners and it wouldn't make a difference, so we did. They also did not have any accessable rooms available, but they at least had a room on the first floor. When we went to check out, there was no one at the desk. As I was waiting, someone on the staff walked by the desk and told me I was okay to leave. I told them I needed to check out, and they repeated that I was good to go. No one asked for a name, room number, etc. I was, and still am, very nervous about just being told in passing it's okay to leave.

The hot tub was not working. The room had a covered up smoke smell. The bathroom sink was small. There was no remote for the TV and the one light by the bed flickered too much to use.
