Nice area with great parking. Front desk gals were super nice. Small pool but hey, our kids loved it! They. Made the best out of it. Very comfortable bedding and pillows. Breakfast needs at 9:30 am which we went used to. Perks of getting a hotel was to sleep in but otherwise- everything was great.

Friendly check in. Pool area, work out room, breakfast. Close to where my boyfriend had 4 hours of appointments the next morning so very convenient. Clean and quiet. I was able to work from my room.

Best hotel for the money so far this year Nice breakfast of potatoes, eggs and ham in addition to the usual waffles, cereal etc. complimentary coffee tea and soda 24 hrs. ( no complimentary booze) Pool was small but clean and furnished. Everything else was. Perfect for $100 less than surrounding hotels

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Room was large, bedding was so nice I wanted to take it home. Great breakfast, and there was a large variety of drinks available 24/7. Friendly staff. Only downside was the noise on the street side of the hotel, and we would have loved a hot tub.

Had to switch rooms for stains and hairs in sheets. Second room had stains also. Have they heard of bleach? When we talked to front desk, no adjustment and half hearted sorry. We did get another room but it also had cleaning issues. The breakfast and facilities seemed nice other wise.

The floors were filthy! The furniture was old and worn. You could hear everything outside the building through the bedroom window during the night, even though it was closed, kept us awake at night and woke us up before dawn in the morning!!

Hotel staff was friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was very good. Hotel is newer, hall ways are clean, rooms are very large. This hotel is owned by the hospital across the street, so a lot of room are handicap accessible, even our room had large door ways for wheel charis. The only thing we didnt like was the beds. Both our beds were very worn, you coukd feel the divets from where everyone slept on the beds. Also my had s metal pc sticking out from the side of the frame.

The room was clean, which is good. The problem was noise. There was a door between my room and the next one, and I could hear unwillingly every word that was said in that room. Also, the hotel is located at a busy intersection with a traffic light. Trucks and motorcycles made noise accelerating from the light. Fortunately, I put the HVAC fan on continuous high and that muffled a lot of the noise.

We stayed one night. Lobby was very nice and inviting. Person working the desk was super friendly and eager to help. Room was very except for one thing. We stayed on the first floor and it was a very busy road about 5 feet from our room. Very loud most of the night. Made for very little sleep. The next morning went in for the complimentary breakfast and notcied some of the chairs were very filthy. Ruined what could've been a vey nice breakfast becasue the food and coffee were dilicious. If we stay again I will request a room on the top floor.

We brought our well behaved dog, no extra charge for pets. There is a good area to walk your dog around the property. Bed could have been more comfortable, there was a hump in the middle at the hip area. Loud stomping all night long above us sounding like a reverberation. So we didn't sleep well. BUT breakfast was above average and hot. Good coffee.

They do not provide ANY service unless specifically requested and do not collect any trash from the room. Also the room key entry system does not operate consistently. It took 5 - 10 minutes to get into room most of the time with either key card. When I reported the issue to the front desk and asked if there was a solution, they only offered to re-key the cards, but the problem remained. Other occupants reported the same issue. This was also my experience during my visit to Gunderson in November 2024. IT IS VERY ANNOYING TO NOT BE ABLE TO GET INTO THE ROOM AND MY THINGS WHEN I HAD A SCHEDULE TO KEEP!

The hotel is next to the hospital, so if that is what you are looking for it is very convenient. Downtown is not far away, but I would not consider it walkable. The hotel itself felt new and clean. Check in and out was quick.

The rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable. Nice sized room, comfortable beds, and lovely bathroom space with walk-in shower. Buffet breakfast included vegetable omelets, ham slices, and diced potatoes. We stayed the night because my family member was having a medical procedure next door at Gundersen clinic. So wonderful to mot have to worry about driving early in the morning. Overall, a very positive experience! Highly recommend.

Staff was particularly attentive and helpful. Property was easy to find, perfectly located, well designed, clean and comfortable. Only small critique--free breakfast quality control--one day exceptional--next day barely eddible. That aside one of my best hotel experiences in a small city.

The room was noisy, facing a busy high way and also the hospital with several helicopter takeoffs and landings. The breakfast was poor, no cold cereal, minimal pastries, only oatmeal was poor instant. Plenty of meat, potatoes, and eggs, if that’s your preference. I would recommend this hotel for hospital related stays, otherwise might do better elsewhere.
