We stayed here for one night to go to a concert at Citifield. The hotel was very easy to find and the valet parking was very convenient. We pulled into the underground garage adjacent to the hotel and they handled everything. Check in was a breeze. The room was clean and quiet. The bathroom was a good size and also very clean. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations so it was a little shocking waking up to a man on a lift outside of our window. The lobby was being painted as well. The staff was very friendly, and gave us several options for transportation to get to Citifield (which was a 2 minute subway ride! Super convenient). The hotel is located smack dab in the middle of a very busy Chinese dominated area. We felt safe walking the streets. And even had a bite to eat at one of the local restaurants. Overall a great experience

Stayed during hectic and stressful travel time of many flights being cancelled and re-routed and we arrived without any luggage. Room was HUGE, temperature easy to control, well equipped with basic amenities (had pump bottles of soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion). Night stands on both sides have 2 USB cord plugs plus normal plugs, plenty of places to charge your electronics. TV had tons of options. Big desk, mini-fridge, coffee maker in the room. Staff very helpful and friendly - so many dining options there onsite/in the neighborhood - uber-eats was overwhelming in options. Instacart was able to deliver clothes in like 45 minutes. Free airport shuttle to LaGuardia was easy to schedule, driver very friendly and efficient.

From the LaGuardia shuttle ride coming in to the shuttle ride to leave we had a great time at the Sheraton. The room was nice, beds comfy, shower clean and towels well stocked. The staff was fantastic! Lots of recommendations to walkable places nearby and directions to things downtown. Loved it.

It was very clean, the service was very friendly, fast and easy, the location was safe, and the subway was close. I was very satisfied. In particular, I used the shuttle bus, and the drivers were friendly. I was very grateful that they operated the shuttle bus even for one guest. If I go to New York again, I will definitely stay at the Sheraton Hotel. Thank you~~~~~

The hotel was great: clean, new carpets, modern, staff was responsive and eager to please, parking was convenient and fairly economical, gym was clean with good equipment, and on-site dining was economical (compared to city prices) and pretty good (only tried the breakfast). It was also very close to the BJK tennis center, which was great. The drawbacks were the extreme traffic (pedestrian and car) surrounding the hotel and if you don't like eating Chinese or Korean food, there were no other restaurants in the vicinity. And, even though the tennis center was a mile or two away, with traffic it could take up to 20 minutes to get back to the hotel due to the traffic.

Great location for food options and transportation. Our toilet wasn’t working properly-the water kept running sometimes. Told hotel but wasn’t fixed. Sound proof is not good. We could hear the elevator from our room a few doors down.

Check in was easy enough although we weren’t told how to access wifi but it was easy enough to figure out. There was no mention of active renovations so it was unpleasant waking up to drilling sounds our first morning. Then our 2nd and last morning someone (perhaps housekeeping) knocked on our door and entered the room despite the privacy notice on the door at 7:03am. I can’t say for sure who it was bc the person didn’t identify themselves but realized we were still in bed and left promptly - no apology. Being that this hotel is a marriot i did have higher expectations. I understand it was a Sheraton and renovations going on but this hotel is old and outdated so paying marriot prices for a room that i didn’t even feel comfortable enough to shower in is disappointing. We came back late after a concert wanting to shower and something backed up in the tub (i guess bc of all the rain) and left black dried crud in the bottom of the tub. It was too late to complain that night. The black out curtains did keep the room nice and dark but unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to take advantage of that being woken up both mornings quite early.

Conveniently close to LaGuardia, and dead center in the middle of the Flushing Chinese food scene, which is why I chose to spend my one day layover near LaGuardia rather than near JFK, near my outgoing flight. The first room I was assigned in this “no smoking“ hotel, reeked of cigarette smoke and room deodorizer. That is my main fault, that this room passed housekeeping, or maybe it was the housekeeper who was smoking? At any rate, I was cheerfully assigned a new room, although it was not exactly the same as that which I booked. The room change made my “dinner time” 11 PM, having come from California. But no worries. World class soup dumpling restaurant was 1/2 block away, and open until 1 AM. Many other eateries in immediate area open way into the early hours of the morning. Only criticism of the other room, or that the mattress was way too soft and therefore uncomfortable for me, and noise from other rooms, transmitted through ventilation system in the bathroom, bed bedroom was quiet.

Be careful with paying on Expedia and then giving the hotel your card as well. They will double charge you, and it’s hassle to get your money back bc they will say you booked through Expedia. If it happens just go through your bank instead of asking the hotel to give you your money back.

All of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure all of our stay needs were taken care of. One of the best hotel experiences that we have had. Also, the hotel was clean and in good repair.

Very nice hotel, with lots of Chinese food and street food options in the blocks around the hotel. We were unknowingly charged extra by the hotel on our credit card for the third person in our party (we had already paid this through Expedia), and the hotel staff on the phone were difficult to work with regarding this. After calling 3 times, they basically said, "We won\'t help you with this. You need to get a refund from Expedia." Expedia gave us the refund. Thank you, Expedia. No thank you, Sheraton.

At first arrival I wasn't too sure about the area. But we got out and walked around and found it to be a nice area. The people were extremely nice as well. The staff at the hotel always made us feel welcomed no matter what time we came in. It was like they were waiting on us to return back to the hotel. It was easy access to the Subway. Just one block away. We truly enjoyed our stay.
