The hotel was very good. Location was perfect, staff was polite, respectful and helpful, breakfast every morning was pretty good and the rooms were clean and well maintained. I would still gove 3 stars put of 5 because of the elevator. There are 9 floors and only 1 very slow elevator. Normally we wouldn't mind taking stairs. But imagine coming from beach with chairs, mats, coolers, umbrella... it was a MAJOR inconvenience. The other guests felt same. I wouldn't mind staying here again but I will be inquiring if both the elevators are working before booking.

The hotel had pne elevator working. It was terrible for guests as i imagine staff as well. Several times we had to ride with trash cans being removed and hugh laundry bins in the elevator. Other than the elevator the hotel is very good.

Easy check in - nicely remodeled room and hallways. 9th floor great veiw of ocean and beach. Pleseant staff. Could use some addtional safety or visibility to the parking deck. It is very narrow with blind corners - its tricky to navigate, go slow and be cautious.

Very disappointed in the pool not being open. It’s rained our entire vacation and would have been nice to swim. Website stated pool was open on 5-1 so we thought it was ok. If we would have known no pool we would have stayed elsewhere

My wife and I stayed at this hotel last August for 10 days and this August for 10 days. It is clean, modern and the staff are friendly. These are my issues. 1. If you want a comfy bed it isnt here. Beds are very uncomfortable. 2. We have an extended ford expedition and there are over sized parking spots in the garage. Yet, thus year and last small tiny cars park there and staff doesnt do anything about it. 3. The pool is a joke, like a pregnant hot tub and it is inside. There is a gorgeous pool with a bar attached to hamtons garage but it belongs to Springhill suites 25 yards away and you cant use it. 4. Pets are allowed. The room next to us and then below us had barking dogs for extended periods of time.and staff wont address it. I keep to myself and just want peace but I was sitting on my balcony and the guy in room below was smoking weed, cigarettes and dog barked for 25 minutes at 11:15 pm. I finally said something to him and he said dogs bark and his weed and cigarettes were medicinal. If I started screaming on balcony at that time for 25 minutes there would be a cop showing up because it disturbs guests. I told manager but didnt say which room because I wasnt positive and manager said not alot they can do about dogs and they put letters on the 9th and 10th floors about smoking. I smoke and I couldnt stand smell and I made the trek downsrairs, why couldnt he? Staff are friendly but seem to not want any confrontation or enforcing rules. The place is nice but I think I am

Staff was excellent! Breakfast was good, too. Only one elevator was working and it was a bit slow. Also, there wasn't any hot water~it was lukewarm at best.

Blood stain on the bed, they had me move rooms and the other room had hair and dirty sheets and half of the things in the room were broken. The shower kept loosing water pressure. The staff were very rude. Highly recommend somewhere else.

Rates were extremely high, but the location was nice. You can tell that there is a high turnover for rooms and maybe they are short staffed, but the rooms are not being cleaned properly. The bathroom and floors were not cleaned.

The room had black mold on the A/C unit vents, there was a bandage over the fire alert system in the room, the door appeared to be previously broken into. I have pictures of everything I just went over, because the mold caused sever sneezing and coughing

We were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the hotel and staff were during our stay. Every staff member was friendly.The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The continental breakfast was great. We will definitely stay there again. Kudos Hampton Inn.

We have stayed at this hotel several times now. The rooms have recently been updated are clean and comfortable. No issues with the beds. Blackout curtains in each room. Enough space that the four of us didn't feel like we were on top of each other. The breakfast is standard hotel breakfast. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The attached restaurant is slightly elevated bar food with occasional live music. The one drawback is at night depending on where your room is located you can hear the bass from the loud music, I'm assuming from the restaurant/ bar. The biggest advantage is all rooms face the beach. Beautiful sunrises. Boardwalk festivities. Wildlife in the waves (dolphins can frequently be seen). Wake up to a sunrise and go to sleep listening to the waves. Very peaceful.

We stayed there for the Easter Weekend. Recent renovations have really made this place a quality stay. Rooms were clean and bathroom amenities were of quality. All rooms are ocean front so we got to enjoy a beautiful Sunrise in the morning. Easy access to the beach with lesser crowds. Breakfast was good. Friendly staff. I will certainly be staying here again.

We have a great little (but not cramped) oceanfront room with a balcony! We appreciate the amenities, like the microwave and refrigerator. Laundry room that takes credit cards. Comfortable loveseat and desk chair, good lighting, contemporary decor. The front desk staff was warm and welcoming and we're responsive to requests. Housekeeping is very present. We appreciate that the room is not only pet friendly but allows cats, which is a main reason we chose this hotel. And not just certain rooms are let friendly, like at some hotels. Appreciate having a full service restaurant downstairs, where we enjoyed two meals, with a view of the boardwalk and beach. They serve gourmet Nightingale ice cream sandwiches from Richmond, VA, which are sooo good! The free breakfast buffet was nice and what you would expect, except that there was a regular waffle iron AND a mini four-waffle waffle iron, as well as some tasty waffle toppings. No problem parking or finding a luggage cart. At 10th Street, we're not in the middle of everything, but we're on the boardwalk and the trolley stops at the next block. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for rent on the beach. Bring your own beach towel, because they are not provided.

We had to wait until 6:00pm to check in. Our room wasn't ready and when we just tried to complain to the front desk guy whom I forgot to ask his name, he got very rude to us and didn't feel there were any issues and didn't feel it was necessary to at least say sorry for the inconvenience and waiting so long.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Front desk staff was amazing. Only three stars for service because maid service took all our towels and didn’t put new ones in the room. Took 4 requests and 8 hours, so we had bo towels to take showers after the beach! Front desk staff finally had to go get 4 sets and hand them to me to carry up to the room.

Booked this hotel for a work trip had an Engineering conference in town for the week. On 3 occasions I harassed by staff specifically front desk/manager who had questioned me on whether or not I was a guest and proceeded to ask for proof ie-keys,room #, name etc. I know it’s a spring break town but unacceptable. I was literally checking out the amenities and approached if I was lost etc because I was walking looking around and 2 min later approached by the manager requesting proof. Unacceptable. Lock your doors if you have problems with homeless/vagrants entering your property. Left a day early and moved to another hotel without requesting a refund for last night. 👎

There were a few front desk personnel that just had really bad attitudes. Celeste was awesome I met her Tuesday but then the girl that v took over for her that night was absolutely hideous. Worst attitude I’ve ever seen. Doors locked way before the sign said they would be and she was just totally rude. I was very disappointed. Now not all your staff were rude but there were a few.

Hunter was so helpful at check in and extremely friendly. We ended up with an unexpected upgrade which was super exciting. The room was spotless and the view was amazing. Saw tons of dolphins!

Upon arrival, we were told the rooms on the 5th floor were not ready it was past 4pm. So we were told to wait in the parking lot and that we will be called. We waited, waited… took us almost an hour until I called the desk. We were told that we can come in now. It was past 5:30pm. On the desk , the lady did not ask for my name ( maybe she remembers from when I came earlier) and just handed our room keys, said our room number. Just that. No greeting us, no apologies for the late, waiting time. Your staff should learn some etiquette when dealing with customers. The housekeepers were more polite. And while other customers were offered cookies & water bottles during check in, nothing was offered to us.

Enjoyed our stay. The hotel was ocean front and on the Board Walk. The hotel was close to restaurants and shopping. We parked in the hotel garage on day one and walked everywhere. The hotel rooms was large and clean. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional.

The Veterans Day parade was right in front of the hotel which caused us to ‘be trapped’ when we were leaving to come home. The police officer say that the hotel should have informed us. No RECYCLE bins and trash cans in room are way too small.

Staff very attentive to request. Being a handicap person it was important to have a room that met my needs. The staff went above and beyond making certain we were accessible to our transportation and easy access to my motorized wheelchair. Breakfast was included. Right next to the beach.

We had a good stay. The only two minor complaints were 1. not a very good breakfast selection and 2. the one curtain in our room was missing the pull so you couldn't quite shut it completely without light coming in in the morning. Overall, good stay and the staff were very friendly and polite.

I did not like that was told I had to pay for parking when the app says parking is free. Breakfast was good, but so crowded at all times of the morning. Loved the ice water available in the lobby. One elevator broke so it took a long time to get back to room. The grass in front of hotel and side walk was so muddy and full of puddles—beware. Too much watering. Amazing view from room!
