Great location with self parking (very rare in New York). Staff are friendly and helpful always.

Room and hallway had an old, stale tobacco smell. Not overwhelming but still there. When I mentioned to front desk clerk at checkout, she seemed surprised but couldn't offer any other explanation. I had to pull very hard on the handle to get the shower to work, and it almost didn't. Fitness center is located across the street at the sister hotel.

The staff are good but the facility is NOT as listed on Expedia, there is no restaurant and no bar. In the room the carpet was sticky and looked very unclean, the lift is so slow it is easier to take the stairs. Breakfast was just acceptable OK for one night (just). Either Expedia or the Hotel should process a refund.

The Adria was clean and quiet but... The one elevator was extremely slow, there were two USB ports in the room and neither worked, The toilet was appropriately sized for a nursery school and the toilet paper was the thinnest stuff I have ever seen so you needed to use several feet of it to clean yourself. The TV image kept breaking up (pixelating) which is typical of too many TV's sharing a single signal source, so we gave up watching TV. The coffee machine in the lobby did not work so the guy behind the front desk told me to walk to their sister hotel next door because "they had a better machine." The mirror in the bathroom was hung so low I had to bend down to see myself shave. I guess that's enough. My recommendation is to spend a few more dollars and stay somewhere else.

Very nice hotel for our trip to NY. Parking was easy in their garage attached to the hotel. No parking fee made it even better. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Not willing to navigate the NY traffic we parked our very large SUV and took Uber everywhere. It was expensive but worth not having the stress of the traffic and parking. The hotel is old but well kept. The beds were very firm, not good for me, but I was able to fall asleep so I guess that’s a good thing. Breakfast buffet was complementary and very good. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Adria Hotel and would stay there again.

The staff are friendly and helpful.The hotel is older but clean. Bedding was plain,thin and Skimpy.Matress was to firm with a very thin cover.Not many USB ports and the plugs at the bed side lamp don't work. FREE PARKING is a huge plus but the parking lot is off the side street. The parking lot elevator room door is left open and anyone off the street could be waiting to do what ever to you. Over all it was good enough for a two night stay .

Small, traditionally appointed hotel with a great reputation as a convenient, economical alternative. They are in the process of upgrading many spaces but overall the hotel is great. Parking is tight. There is plenty of fast-food and convenience stores in the area, and access to the Cross Island Parkway is literally steps from the lobby. We stay here often and are never disappointed. Avoid the costly Nassau County hotels, as the county line is just a few minutes drive on Northern Boulevard.

This property was very run down and old. The cleanliness was not at all represented in the photos. There was mold and mildew on multiple surfaces of the room. The staff did try and accommodate us as best they could although they understood the property was the way it was. The manager was very helpful and did his best to make you feel as comfortable as you could.

The air conditioning in the room didn’t work properly. The rug in our room was filthy and there was mold in the shower. The lobby/ballroom leaves much to be desired. It is an old property that has not been kept up with extremely inflated prices for the US Open 2 weeks.

Great location, very nice staff, clean room, rooms are small, very outdated, carpet has stains, bathroom caulking peeling, toilet flush is slow, elevator only allows for 2 people, breakfast above average, stairways are filthy, and hallways are dirty. Overall hotel is pretty rundown, but rooms are clean, good prices, safe to walk around, it’s a very nice location for Asian restaurant’s and also access into NY city, Queens and Long Island.

The hallway stank horribly, as if there was excessive smoking and old carpets that had never been cleaned. Thank goodness closing the door to our room kept out the stench or we could have never stayed there. The beds were only double beds, which are hardly larger than twins. We had 4 people on our reservation, and even the website states these rooms are intended for 2 people. The sirens outside the window were incessant all 3 nights, so we should have brought ear plugs. The location was convenient to where we needed to be, and the residential neighborhood was pleasant.

The hotel is good, but there were a couple of issues. The beds weren’t very clean. I had found a couple of hairs under the sheets. The bathroom was also a little dirty, but besides that my stay was good! Breakfast was included (free) which was amazing!!

Room temperature uncontrollable. Was 83 degrees making sleep impossible. Had to leave in the middle of the night. Was offered a $20 credit. Do NOT stay

Large, clean room. Close to the airport, would stay again. Wifi is a bit spotty but otherwise the stay was fine.

The property is due for a renovation. the only Elevator is slow and sometimes could wait for a long time. Bath room need renovation badly. Exhausted fan is not working and the facing main road room is very noisy.

The Adria Hotel has some good things going for it, especially if you’re looking for a convenient location. It’s right off the Cross Island Parkway on Northern Boulevard, which makes getting around easy. Plus, the free parking behind the hotel is a huge bonus, and the setup makes it simple to get in and out. The rooms are decent-sized for a New York hotel, with a fridge, a desk, and plenty of outlets, so you’re covered there. The bathroom is pretty tight, but the water pressure in the shower is great, and the soap/shampoo dispensers are handy. The hallways are bright and open, which adds a nice touch, and they do offer a basic breakfast—nothing fancy, but it’s similar to what you’d get at a Hampton Inn, so no complaints there. That said, there are some quirks. Temperature control in the room was a hassle; when we arrived, it was a toasty 77°F, and the front desk suggested opening the windows to cool things down since there's no AC after Labor Day. That sort of worked, but it brought in a lot of noise from Northern Boulevard. Another small gripe: the room had very few hangers, so it’s a good thing we brought extras from home. Also, the hotel uses this automated texting system that bombards you with messages, encouraging you to reach out, but nobody actually seems to respond to those texts. I tried multiple times and got nothing back, which was pretty frustrating. It's a solid spot for the location and basics, but don’t expect perfection.

The evening front desk guys was terrible. He was aggressive and yelling at me when I was asking question. He did not help me with my luggage and told me there is no one. They said that the elevator stop working from 11pm to 7 am so I had to leave early and I took the stairs with my luggage. The morning shift guys was very helpful and polite. I would not recommend thi place due to lack of customer service from the evening shift guys

Very approachable, friendly, helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable staff/service. Genuinely good natured, requests were not troublesome, but they rose to the occassion to get resolution. Their patience in helping us to get IT issue resolved was paramount. Bravo.

Overall, my stay at the Adria Hotel had its positives. The location was convenient, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. However, there were several aspects that made the experience less than ideal: Front Desk Courtesy: There was an older, shorter gentleman working the front desk who came across as discourteous. While I was waiting in the lobby for my room to be cleaned, he made a rude comment about me to another staff member—implying I should have paid him something to change rooms. That kind of behavior is unprofessional and made the atmosphere uncomfortable. Breakfast Area Noise: During the morning buffet, staff from the kitchen would sometimes shout across the room to each other while guests were eating. It created a jarring environment when people were trying to relax or have a conversation. Thermostat Functionality: The room thermostat kept reverting to 77°F, even when I manually set it to 70°F. While I wasn’t in the room for much of the day, if I had stayed in during the hot afternoon hours, it would’ve been uncomfortable. Persistent Humming Noise: Though my room was on the quieter, residential side of the building, there was a constant humming sound—not from neighboring rooms, but seemingly from building equipment. My room was at the end of the hall, so it may have been related to that. These things didn’t ruin the stay, but they definitely impacted the overall comfort. With a few improvements, the experience could be much better.

I love how fast the staff worked on issues with our room!

Henry was quite unfriendly when we asked if we could leave our suitcases to come back on Tuesday. This hotel doesn't offer a receipt tag of the suitcases we leave and told us to take them back when we return. This made us feel very uncomfortable as anyone staying in the hotel has the access to the storage and can take our suitcase without supervision of the attendant. This is very unusual.

I picked the Adria hotel because it was very close to the UBS arena. Its location was right off the exit, parking available and the staff was very friendly and courteous. Rooms were very clean. If I had to stay again I wouldn’t mind it.

We stayed for a quick, last minute trip. There was a parking garage, the hotel and room was clean, and the staff was friendly. It was also very quiet. The location is also conveniently close to LaGuardia. We didn't get the chance to stay late enough for the breakfast, but I would definitely stay again.

I found the room and the dining room within an (A) cleanliness level with (A) being used in the same manner as the department of health grades the establishments in NY (👍😁) which is an excellent score. The service when requested was immediate and done in a friendly manner. The dining room host/cook gets 5 stars from me as she went out of her way for a special request and did so with a smile.

Short stay in preparation for flight out of JFK. Room was great and clean. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

Overall, it was comparable to other 3 star hotels. The staff were courteous and friendly, and overall, it was fine. The bed was very comfortable so I at least got a good night sleep. The building and the facilities are old and dated. Only one (very slow) elevator. The a/c was especially loud so I had to turn it off to sleep. Mini-fridge, Keurig, TV - none of which I used. The fridge was very loud as well but I didn\'t unplug it as I know that could cause issues with fridges. I didn\'t turn the TV on so can\'t comment on that. The bathroom sink didn\'t drain well. 1 free bottle of water in the room. The breakfast was the typical no frills "continental hot breakfast". Surprised at no sausages or bacon--but they had breakfast hash(?) It tasted fine. Scrambled eggs, potatoes, waffles/breads/breakfast pastries, some fruits and yogurt. Very minimal but it tasted better than what we\'d find at a typical Fairmont Inn. Basic coffees and teas in pump carafes. Coffee was very sour. Only one person at the front desk so it took me 45 mins to check in. (I came in behind a large wedding party.) There\'s free parking if you need it--rare in NY. The location is fine if you have a car. If not, then you can Uber/Lyft or take the buses right in front to get around. The buses are few and far between and often delayed so take note. Would not be my first choice to return--but definitely no issues--and I would not hesitate to stay here in the future. Thanks again to the courteous staff.

Easy parking area, 15 minute walk to the train station and very safe area. The breakfast was delicious, lots of hot choices. Lots of people were going to the US Open tennis tournament.
