No access to roof bar it’s a separate business, same as the pool. Hotel has limited paid parking which is a plus. Fairly far away from subway or the ferry, but can get there by a 15 mins walking or 10 mins bus ride.

No continental breakfast even though it is advertised for having this at this location, was not made aware that the pool is 21+ and they also do not have a restaurant even though it was advertised as having one for this location. Only reason I booked here was for pool, restaurant and continental breakfast, paid $250 for the night for a bed basically. Definitely wouldn’t return here.

If you need a stay over for a night then its fine. Wifi is touch and go, and seemingly only have one device connected at any time. Also, if you’re expecting access to the roof garden pool then think again, its only for private events.

There’s a pool. But you can’t use it. Unless you pay separately. And if you don’t buy a ticket you’re just hearing the party till midnight. Don’t promote your pool if we can’t use it.

My biggest issue is that this is false advertising. The pool is not included at all in this stay. The room was a little dirty around the edges but the view was everything. The lobby had an odd smell to it. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Initial assign room was disgusting. Sticky floors, sliding door was not cleaned, shower had hair on the floor of the shower, dried blood on the table and multiple flies inside the room. When I approached the front desk with my concerns, they were not really apologetic or seemed embarassed. The house keeping lady met me at the original room to validate my concerns and was extremely rude and cleaning the room while I was still getting my stuff to move to the other room. She was huffing and puffing and just being extremely abrasive. The room was switched to another room which was cleaner - with no complaints. The hotel hall ways were run down, and the elevator operation was kind of concerning because there was a loud noise coming from the elevator every time it went from floor to floor. Overall, I would NOT recommend staying here

My stay was pretty good. The staff was pleasant & very helpful, when needed. My only gripe was the bathroom was filthy. The shower floor was horrible. I wish I took pics to explain what I mean. There was visible dirt in the crevices & all over the shower floor. The toilet was dirty as well but not as bad.

I have to give this hotel 2 out of 5 stars because of the poor cleaning standards. In our first room, we found two old diapers in the trash bin on the TV stand, as well as hair on the bathroom floor and crumbs on the desk. We asked to switch rooms, but in the second room we also found hair on the floor and crumbs that hadn’t been cleaned, so the issue continued even after moving. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was good, so this is not about the housekeepers themselves. It feels more like management doesn’t give them the proper equipment or time, because we never saw any vacuums being used, only brooms, and it is hard to keep rooms properly clean that way. The hotel has potential, but the cleaning issues ruined a big part of the experience for us.

Apology for the bad review but I wanted to be honest to help improve it… Our ravel room (405) was very unclean in terms of the bathroom and room. The shower drain was backed up and would not go down while showering. Lots of mold around the drain so you’re showering in a pool of mold. Toilets also do not flush properly. Clogged during our entire stay. Also extreme amounts of black mold in bathroom sick if you take a look at the holes. Aside from the bathroom, extremely dusty rooms around the night stand table tops and tv tops. I also wish the maintenance would at least repaint the scuffed walls and cover the baseboards properly. Had to kill a few bugs during the stay as well. I would probably not recommend to stay at this hotel and not a 4 star experience.

The room was dusty to the extent of dust balls on the toilet, next to the bed all over the bed side lamps. Absolutely nothing in the hotel as service, you just walk into the building of the rooms without passing anyone or a lobby, and so can anyone else since the elvator also goes up eithout the need for a room card. Secluded area, nothing around at all, even stations are a good 15 mins walk away. Not recommended at all. Windows are also not soundproof, so noisy neighbors and the brdge you sre overlooking gets loud.

The hotel room could have been cleaned better. The shower and tub was dirty. The table tops were sticky, the balcony looked like it’s never been cleaned before. A lot of dirt, ash and bird poop everywhere. Outdoor furniture was dirty. Hotel room tv is not a smart tv and has limited channel options. Walls were dirty and the paint was chipped. Parking lot is always packed so you may end up parking on the street.

We were there for the party next door, so it was convenient for the occasion. The club next door started playing music at 11am the next day so if you aren’t going for an event there, don’t expect peace and quiet. The place was clean enough. Room had a small fridge, so that was nice. The AWFUL thing about the stay here was the internet, you can’t stream anything on TV, and the WiFi didn’t work for the majority of the time we were there.

Great hotel, beautiful room with amazing views, comfortable bed, BUT only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because of the sleeping situation. The noise from the outside was so loud the door might've well just been wide open. We slept combined maybe 2 hours due to the noise. Those doors need to be looked at. So that was a big bummer.

Room was cleaned overall to a comfortable level. A/C , Heater was too loud to run during the night. Doors to hallway dont seal well. Fiest night was terrible as I couldn't sleep due to the noise from the elevator and other guests yelling. Changed rooms and got a minor upgrade to a room with a door that sealed a bjt better and wasn't next to the elevator. Very friendly and helpful staff. Overall the furniture and switches haven’t been kept in a good condition. Seams like they did an update 5years ago and didn't invest anything since then.

The manager at the Ravel became abusive and hostile when i complained about the inannounced wedding that occurred during my stay where the noise was not only audible but palpable as the walls and the floors shook. I asked for a free night as a concession and was told yes. When i went to collect on the offer the manager yelled, screamed, called me a liar and was so unnecessarily hostile and should not be managing people or anything related to hospitality. I was hung up on and called a liar when Jaydev Gupta is a dishonest and disingeuine ill equipped manager who is abusive to his paying customers and a terrible representative if both Wyndam and the Ravel. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone for fear this man could become unhinged at having to actually deal with anyone who r a spectfully sharws a grievance as is the right as a paying customer. I was absolutely treated terrible and verbally abused at this location.

The staff was very unfriendly, and the service was poor. We had to stay all night in a smoking room with an infant, even though we had reserved a non-smoking room. My second baby has allergies. No compensation or discount was offered. They offered us the option to cancel our existing reservation at 1:30 am ( after us driving for 5hours) and check out in the middle of the night with two kids. We will never come back again. Terrible experience.

Hotel was modern, clean, and surprisingly spacious compared to others in NYC. The staff is amazing too! A couple of them helped us find good street parking since their lot was already full when we got there.

These employees are #1! Have stayed in many places in NYC over the past 4 years. And other than the noise and somewhat rough location. The employees more than make up for both. So kind, accommodating, VERY clean, safe room. Very helpful folks who do everything they can to take care of you!

This is a nice hotel, staff were friendly and the room was roomy and clean. However, my room was near the elevator and it was very loud in the hallways on top of the noise from the street. If you're a light sleeper, this might not be the best choice. It's also a 10-15 minute walk from food options and public transit, so I'd recommend planning around that during your stay.

The room is comfortable. Mattress could be better but it was alright. The balcony is fantastic and so is the view. The neighborhood is not the best, however. I wouldn’t walk around here at night. There were a lot of sketchy people hanging around. Even during the day was a bit dodgy. There’s not much in the way of places to eat nearby, either.

We stayed during Christmas 2024 and chose the hotel due to the price in comparison to staying in the city and the proximity to subway. I would say this location is not for the weak. It is in a somewhat secluded industrial area and the subway is about a 10 min walk. Walking to and from the hotel during the day was fine but it was a bit intimidating walking at night (ie. secluded area, abandoned warehouses, abandoned cars). The hotel was clean, staff was friendly and attentive, it’s a good bang for your buck. As long as you are aware of your surroundings or use a car to get dropped off you should be fine.

The location was great. I just wish it weren't so industrial right next to the hotel but I appreciated the low to no traffic at the same time. So, I'm not sure I would change that. Maybe if there were a restaurant on the property it would have helped. Also, the shower tiles needed to be cleaned better. It took away from the experience of the room which was top tier. The balcony was amazing and the views...wow! The hotel overall was great and I would stay there again if the price was right.

Website said they would have breakfast, they did not. Room had a massive deep crack in the corner floor. The flooring was uneven. Tiles in the bathroom were loose. The faucet was loose and moving around. Blankets had stains on them. Rooftop bar is promoted, but no longer open to public, it’s only for private events. I was overall just disappointed.

Amazing stay at this property. Really wish there was breakfast included, but the tea and coffee was amazing. Loved the balcony and the amazing view of the bridge. Great location, train station is really close. Also, very close to Manhattan so going to the city was very quick.

The best things were (1) all of the staff members I met - Awesome. (2) The beds were really clean and comfortable. The greatest negative - the hotel website said there was breakfast served, and there was a dining restaurant for dinners. I traveled 3 1/2 hours to NYC for major surgery, and seriously needed the convenience of hotel meals. Upon arrival we were informed all food service was discontinued. Why is your website not updated ???? The bathroom design is frustrating - to say the least, and I thought 3 of the 4 tiny ceiling light bulbs were burned out. On the morning of my third day there, I finally found the light switch to the 2 meager lights over the sink and mirror - over at the entrance door to the room. The light over the toilet is hanging loose from the ceiling, and is burned out, and the toilet stall is so small I had to leave the door open to avoid banging my head on it. The hard floors in the rooms surely contribute to easier cleaning, but are very cold to walk barefoot on. There was a "great" deal of noise through our 2 nights there that was coming from other rooms on our floor, as well as above us. While packing to leave on day 3, I found the tiny frig hiding in a cabinet - a frig that could have served me well if I\'d known it was there. Would I stay there again, or recommend this hotel to others ??? Sadly, No !

No restaurants at all. Closest one a 10 minute walk through industrial area. Only 1 bar operating and it was closed for private party. Got there 3:00 for 7:00 wedding ( which they did a great job) and couldn’t get a drink or a bite to eat. Will definitely cause me to think twice about staying at any Wyndham property.

Great location for our NYC visit. Parking was available and increased our feeling of safety. Check in by text didn’t go as smoothly as desired, but the hotel was quickly responsive and helped us get it straightened out. The noise from the hall was disruptive on Saturday night. There is no breakfast here. Coffee is in the room. It’s a walk to get food. The front desk is staffed with knowledgeable and helpful people. Rooms were clean. This might be our new favorite for annual trips to the city.
