Wir bezahlen 280 Euro für 3 Nächte. Das Hotel hat jedoch den dritten Tag mit nur 70 Euro in der Liste gestanden. Dann mussten wir auch noch 10 Euro für 2 Stunden länger das Auto dort stehen lassen bezahlen. Das Zimmer wurde kein einziges Mal sauber gemacht und wir mussten um Handtücher nachfragen. Es stank sowohl in der Lobby als auch in dem Flur. Ich kann es nicht empfehlen und bin empört.

Very rough around the edges but you get what you pay for. Was clean enough and the bed was comfy. I hardly got any sleep during the second night because the lift outside my room (201) was making very loud squeaking noises ever time it was beung used. I only realised it was the lift when I left. Will probably stay here again but not in a room next to the lift or in obe facing the street

This hotel is very ‘tired’. The room was poorly decorated and equipped. There was scant space, furniture or facilities. There was no tea/coffee making facilities and apart from the beds little to sit on or do things. The general atmosphere was dowdy and poor. We felt that for a very small uplift in rate we could have stayed in one of the corporate hotels and achieved much better value. The parking is underground and secure but at €20 per night extra just made the experience feel less good value.

Zijn al ettelijke keren te gast geweest, qua prijs een heel fijn hotel en de hoofdreden is dat ik onze auto voor €20,- veilig binnen kan stallen. Ontbijt is goed, niet overdadig, maar het personeel doet zijn best om, naast hun balie-werk, toch te zorgen voor een stevig ontbijt.

I was first given a room which did not have an AC remote. So I had to go to the reception, and they provided me with a new room. In that room the AC had a remote but the AC wasn’t working - showing an error. I had to go to reception again and they said they will send a technician, no one came. I had to go to the reception multiple times. Mind you that even the lift wasn’t working for the entire time, which means I had to get up and down 3 floors every time. When I complained I was asked if I would work with a fan. Finally around 4pm I got a room which had an AC working. The hotel was otherwise good with good beds. But if something is not working, it will take forever to get solved. Ruined my entire stay because of the constant running.

There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, which was odd, as all previous hotels i’ve used in the past do. They did provide ‘free’ tea/coffee if you had a paid breakfast (I didn’t have any) but I was allowed to take hot water. The lifts worked occasionally, so I had to use the stairs frequently. The hotel Wi-Fi constantly dropped the signal. I did enjoy the bed, so much so I slept for 12 hrs. This was after a long day driving from the UK. The bathroom was modern and clean. The hotel carpark was a squeeze to get in from the street and the ramp was a little steep, catching my bumper! It was in a great location to the centre of Antwerp. Antwerp is a beautiful place to visit and would come again and stay at the Eden Hotel.

Das Hotel war eine absolute Katastrophe. Die Zimmer waren schmutzig und haben nach Bier gestunken. Im Badezimmer waren überall Haare von anderen Gästen und auf den Fliesenkanten war so dick Staub als wenn dort schon Jahre nicht mehr geputzt wurde. Die Farbe bröckelt von der Decke und schwarzer Schimmel hat sich auf den Silikonfugen abgesetzt. Auf dem Filter der Klimaanlage war eine Zentimeter dicke Staubschicht so dass man Angst um seine Gesundheit haben musste. Als Höhepunkt weigerte sich der Empfang uns eine ordnungsgemäße Rechnung auszustellen. Da es sich um eine Betriebsausgabe handelt waren wir darauf angewiesen. Das Hotel zieht auf der Rechnung einfach die Provision (angeblich über 100€) die sie an Expedia zahlen müssen ab was den Gast nichts angeht und auch nicht rechtens ist (ich weiß nicht ob man von Steuerhinterziehung ausgehen kann?). Nach ewiger Diskusion wurde der Empfang uns gegenüber auch noch frech. Ich kann dieses Hotel niemandem empfehlen, erst recht nicht wenn man geschäftlich verreist.

The hotel was perfectly adequate for our short stay. The room had everything we needed and was clean. The breakfast buffet was also perfectly adequate. The city centre is within easy walking distance (approx. 15 minutes). The main railway station, many shops and restaurants are also located near the hotel. The staff were always friendly. Good value for money!

A hotel which is in dire need of a good paint job and cleaning. Dirty matresses need changing, as well as broken light switches. Only luke warm water in the shower and a moldy bathroom. I am including a few photos to illustrate. Needless to say i did not try the breakfast and was out of there as soon as possible!

Auf dem Filter der Klimaanlage war eine Zentimeter dicke Staubschicht so dass man Angst um seine Gesundheit haben musste. Als Höhepunkt weigerte sich der Empfang uns eine ordnungsgemäße Rechnung auszustellen. Da es sich um eine Betriebsausgabe handelt waren wir darauf angewiesen. Das Hotel zieht auf der Rechnung einfach die Provision (angeblich über 100€) die sie an Expedia zahlen müssen ab was den Gast nichts angeht und auch nicht rechtens ist (ich weiß nicht ob man von Steuerhinterziehung ausgehen kann?). Nach ewiger Diskusion wurde der Empfang uns gegenüber auch noch frech. Ich kann dieses Hotel niemandem empfehlen, erst recht nicht wenn man geschäftlich verreist.
Das Hotel war eine absolute Katastrophe. Die Zimmer waren schmutzig und haben nach Bier gestunken. Im Badezimmer waren überall Haare von anderen Gästen und auf den Fliesenkanten war so dick Staub als wenn dort schon Jahre nicht mehr geputzt wurde. Die Farbe bröckelt von der Decke und schwarzer Schimmel hat sich auf den Silikonfugen abgesetzt. The city centre is within easy walking distance (approx. 15 minutes). The main railway station, many shops and restaurants are also located near the hotel. The staff were always friendly. De kamer nr 3 op de begane grond stonk vreselijk naar kots of hond. Bij de receptie gevraagd of ik een andere kamer mag. Receptionist geeft aan dat er geen honden zijn toegestaan en geeft mij geen andere kamer omdat t hotel vol schijnt te zijn. Een raam open zetten kan ook niet, omdat gasten op de binnenplaats zitten te roken.

I was first given a room which did not have an AC remote. So I had to go to the reception, and they provided me with a new room. In that room the AC had a remote but the AC wasn’t working - showing an error. I had to go to reception again and they said they will send a technician, no one came. I had to go to the reception multiple times. Mind you that even the lift wasn’t working for the entire time, which means I had to get up and down 3 floors every time. When I complained I was asked if I would work with a fan. Finally around 4pm I got a room which had an AC working. The hotel was otherwise good with good beds. But if something is not working, it will take forever to get solved. Ruined my entire stay because of the constant running.

Zijn al ettelijke keren te gast geweest, qua prijs een heel fijn hotel en de hoofdreden is dat ik onze auto voor €20,- veilig binnen kan stallen. Ontbijt is goed, niet overdadig, maar het personeel doet zijn best om, naast hun balie-werk, toch te zorgen voor een stevig ontbijt.

There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, which was odd, as all previous hotels i’ve used in the past do. They did provide ‘free’ tea/coffee if you had a paid breakfast (I didn’t have any) but I was allowed to take hot water. The lifts worked occasionally, so I had to use the stairs frequently. The hotel Wi-Fi constantly dropped the signal. I did enjoy the bed, so much so I slept for 12 hrs. This was after a long day driving from the UK. The bathroom was modern and clean. The hotel carpark was a squeeze to get in from the street and the ramp was a little steep, catching my bumper! It was in a great location to the centre of Antwerp. Antwerp is a beautiful place to visit and would come again and stay at the Eden Hotel.
