You did not feel like I was in a 5-star hotel when I was talking to the staff. They have to learn to smile and say hello when you approach them. It is like they do not want to be there. The bar is there, but nobody is there like last Monday at 15 o'clock, there was another bar to go to. I came to that same bar in the lobby at 5 minutes to 23 o'clock, I was told that they were closing so at 23 o'clock, so I could not have a cocktail. In a 5-star hotel, I do expect to be pampered and get a cocktail even just before closing. I have been many times at this hotel and the atmosphere is getting worse.

The room is spacious and clean…The staff are so friendly…Especially Maria from the reception who helped me with my train booking and tour. They offer free hand massage at the spa…Thank you Metti for the nice massage. I will recommend this hotel for all my friends and family. It will be great if the furniture is replaced with modern furniture.

The hotel is in a perfect, very central location to Old Town Gdansk. They have secure, underground parking with access to your vehicle throughout your stay (a huge plus). The buffet breakfast is very average compared to many others we experienced in our month long journey of Scandinavia and the Baltics. They definitely need improvement in this area. Staff was also not enough to handle the weekend crowds and we were unable to order off the menu.

Inexperienced propell in reception, but check in ok. Worse that linen in bed was dirty. Change of linen late at night took some time. The hotel person saud this would be reported, but the next day this was not done. We were told Trey would check and come back to is, but nothing happened. When we legt er Asker again, but no response. Receptionist promised we would get a mail and some compensation. But never heard from them again. Hotel is well placed in central Gdansk. Fitness room is very, very smal.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION This hotel’s location can’t be beat. They gutted several old buildings and connected them to create a hotel with many of the amenities you expect from a Hilton. Right in the old town WITH PARKING! Which was perfect for us since there is nothing better than a road trip throughout Europe. We got a big beautiful suite #355 with a view of the old town. Absolutely stunning. The only reason I gave such a low score…..the smell!!!!! OMG it was worse than anything I have ever smelled in my life. There was a drain in the bathroom and every morning a horrific smell best described as a sewer would come wake us up. We will never forget it. It is now our inside joke when something smells bad we call it a 355 situation. We did not complain as there is obviously something wrong with their plumbing. So, not much they could do other than give us another room. And since we were only there 2 nights, we didn’t think there was any point. We just got the hell out of the room in the morning. Now if it had smelled the entire day it would have been a different story. We hate to complain but that smell would have been unbearable for any extended period of time. Not sure if they have this problem in other rooms but if you get suite #355 you’ve been warned. All in all I would definitely stay in the hotel again. The breakfast buffet had everything you would expect. The location and the parking can’t be beat. I would just make sure I didn’t get room #355.

Helt ok hotell, men absolutt ikke de 5 stjernene de markedsfører seg med. Til det er kaffemaskinen, frokostbuffeten og servicen for dårlig. Drinkene i baren var heller ikke spesielt gode. Videre lukte det svært ille av avløpene på badet, en evig eim av kloakk som ikke forsvant etter rengjøring, eller ved å helle vann i avløpene. Unødvendig å si kanskje, men dette hotellet velger vi ikke igjen om vi skal til Gdansk i fremtiden.

FREE BED BUGS: we noticed a large bug with several small moving dots. Immediately grabbed our drinking and wine glasses and covered the insects which were on the white mattress and comforter. Packed our luggage and reported it to the night desk clerk. He was surprised but offered no assistance. Requested confirmation of our concerns. He could leave the front desk. We requested security guard who was courteous. He looked and confirmed bed buds and took photos. He reported it the night clerk who said we are fully booked but offered us free breakfast. We asked for other hotels but no assistance. We said we are not staying in that room . We requested to sleep in the lobby. No pillows, blankets or cots offered. So we stayed all night like homeless couple while guest were coming in and out. In the morning Day Manager stayed they have a room before we checkout to freshen up and offered free breakfast. Explaining that these bugs are typical since maids open the windows while cleaning the room and they enter. Really! And you don’t address it. We said that we should not pay for this room. Manager we should hear a decision in a couple days which must be made by upper management. 10 days pass and not a single word, call, email, etc. Hotel is nice and close to everything but I DON’T WANT BUGS IN MY BED.TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Hotellet var af ældre dato, og man havde ikke gjort nok for løbende at vedligeholde stedet. Jeg måtte skifte værelse pga for lidt tryk i bruseren. Det nye værelse havde flere paneler der var slidte og flossede, ligesom skabe på badeværelset ikke var helt rene.

Nydelig hotell med det som må være noe av beste beliggenhet i Gdansk. Deilig frokost. Fine og store rom. Minus for støy i frokostsalen og altfor varmt på rommet. Lite mulighet for å regulere varmen så endte opp med åpne vinduer mot gaten. Noe støy sent på kvelden men funket bra. Alt i alt et hotell jeg vil komme tilbake til. Ekstra pluss for stemningsfull og nydelig julepynt i lobbyen..

My reservation gave me free drink vouchers and free upgrade if available. It was clearly available because they tried to sell it to me but I was not given an upgraded room without having to pay! No free drink either. No later check out (I was told it was not available but now would almost question it, given that none of these perks were available to me unless I paid extra!)

What a great place in the perfect location, amazing views from our room. Walking distance to the Christmas Market and Shopping Center/mall. Many great restaurants on the main street. Breakfast buffet at the hotel was great. I traveled alone with 2 children and felt very safe.

centralt läge.Stora rum och bra badrum.Känns långtifrån känslan ,att bo ett hotel med 5 stjärnor.Kändes som en 2-3 stjärnor och inte mer.Murrigt och tråkigt inred.Ingen känsla av julstämning.Frukosten var bra.Hotellets restaurang var totalt katastrof.Vi fick vänta en timme på maten,fast det var nästan tomt på folk.Maten serverades kallt och smakade fruktansvärd.Värsta maten vi åt i Gdansk.Skulle verkligen inte rekommendera detta hotellet för det priset.

A really beautiful hotel with quiet spacious rooms in the lovely Old Town location. The staff are polite and helpful, and the breakfast is outstanding with buffet or menu options. It is walking distance to a number of attractions and there are many local restaurants in the area to choose from. .
