At least 50 Amtrak vehicles taking up the parking lot. Our first room, 110, walls were vibrating from the adjacent laundry room....2nd room, 208, Fridge was incredibly loud, coffee making broken, iron leaking water, exposed 220v circuit clearly accessible to any child...see attached photos...Staff was very accommodating...

We had a great stay! We were in town for a baseball tournament. Rooms were spacious and very accommodating. Full refrigerator, stovetop, microwave and dishwasher. Free laundry was key!! Kids took advantage of gym and outdoor pool. Staff was very friendly and responsive to the few requests we had. Would definitely stay here again!

The room was so comfortable and with a contemporary style.It had all the amenities that you would need. Exceptionally clean. The manager and receptionist were so very helpful. The pool area is very clean and you can even barbecue outside. I highly recommend staying here.

We had a problem with the garbage disposal and we saw a maintenance person on our way to the pool and mentioned it to him and by the time we got back to the room it was all taken care of This was excellent service and all staff was very nice friendly and helpful

Didn’t care for it. I am an IHG member and this was probably my worst experience. The AC panel separated from the wall when I went to touch it. When I reported it to the front desk she said Maintenance isn’t in till 11am the next day, And she would let them know. I was woken up at 8am on a Saturday to maintenance knocking then slightly opening the door but luckily I the safely lock was on. He did come back later and fixed it. The glass in the bathroom was dirty, I tried to take a quick dip in the pool within the permitted (10-8pm) but two men were cleaning it. Latervloasked for late check out and was told I can maybe have 30 mins but that’s it. Cause the room has to be prepared for the next guest.

Front desk worker after 10pm was very unhelpful with everything I asked? Our Tv remote wasn’t working and she did not want to assist me. In the morning the kids were excited to get in the pool that was supposed to open at 10 am she said it didn’t open until 12 when there was clearly a sign on the gate. After I threatened to call corporate, “maintenance “that “wasn’t on site” magically appeared and unlocked the gate. So we finally got in at 11 but had to be checked out by 12 so they lost an hour. I ONLY rent hotels with pools so my kids can have fun while we’re away. The daytime staff here were wonderful though. I come here yearly (3yrs and counting) and usually have a great stay. I’d come back but hope that the evening staff improves their attitude

The bathrooms were in horrible shape. The bottom of the shower tub was badly stained and the shower tile was in horrible shape. For two nights the fire alarm went off at exactly 2:27am. In both cases, a false alarm but imagine trying to go back to bed after that. It was a horrible experience. Also, there was no cellular internet in area so once you left hotel, you lost connectivity until you got to the road. The staff was nice though and the bed was comfortable.

The staff was super nice and friendly. Inside my hotel room i had mold and mildew in my shower, and there was baby roaches in my room. I had to change my room due to this. This was unacceptable and truly nasty. I dont live with roaches why should i go away and sleep with them. Very disappointed at this Candlewood.

Upon entry to room, there was an odor. Later discovered the odor was Raid. Room had ants. Staff was notiied and they sprayed again. But ants were still present. We did not have food in the room.

Had a very nice stay. Only issue was not being able to get the tv to work properly. No instructions in the room either. I wasn’t really there to watch tv, so it didn’t matter on this occasion. But there should be instructions in the room. Seems there is no cable and ppl are expected to use their own streaming services? But the remote didn’t make sense for that either.

The stay was nice and peaceful also the maid did everything to make my stay comfortable. The front desk young lady named Coleen made ever effort to make this stay enjoyable because the WiFi isn’t good and the room tv doesn’t have a remote to access input so I can go on my personal apps from my laptop. Not much of cable so this is a great alternative to watch personal streaming. She is kind and always said”hello is everything fine. The only person that did that. She’s a very good asset to that front desk.give her 5 stars

This is my second time staying at this location- it’s either a newer Candlewood or it’s newly renovated, the rooms are beautiful and very clean. I requested a pet friendly room as I was traveling with my dogs, and I was placed on the first floor (perfect for running dogs in and out for bathroom breaks) and I was even more pleasantly surprised to see that my room was all laminate (pergo? I’m not a flooring expert lol), no carpet. My dog is a pretty seasoned traveler at this point and doesn’t have accidents but it was still a huge bonus in terms of keeping the room clean to not have to worry about carpeting. Bed was very comfortable. Grocery store right around the corner, lots of dining options. Staff is very nice. I stayed over Thanksgiving so the hotel was mostly vacant which made for a very peaceful stay.

I reserved and paid for a suite with a separate bedroom weeks before my stay. Once I checked in and went to the room I was in a normal hotel room. Not at all what I paid $240 for, and definitely not what I reserved. I was never notified of this change, was never offered any sort of refund, discount, or compensation for this change, and the woman training a nice young girl at the counter was ridiculously rude. Not to mention there were other guests at the desk disappointed as well, so this seems to be how they normally operate… unprofessional, rude, and not honoring reservations. I left the hotel and went to stay somewhere that they value not only my business, but also understand how customers should be treated. I would never stay there again.

The staff is incredible! I had to change my reservation which was handled flawlessly. They also accommodated my husband who needed a quiet area to work. Completely went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience!

Stayed two nights with my son. Came back to the room Saturday afternoon and could tell the A/C wasn’t cold - just blowing air. Asked the front desk for repairman, but was told he left (it was 5:15pm). Nothing done - no offer of any assistance or compensation. Just “he’s gone for the day.” It was 95 degrees outside and my son had played lacrosse all day. No hotels had rooms within an hour b/c of sports tourneys. We sucked it up and survived - but no chance I ever stay there again. No A/C and absolutely no effort to assist us or even pretend to care is a dealbreaker on multiple levels.
