Quality Inn Near Hollywood Walk of Fame

The property is located in a very good location, in a walking distance from the Walk of Fame in Hollywood. However, the property itself was in a poor condition: 1. Room was somewhat dirty, with some dust on it. 2. There was a lot of noise in the hotel corridor. It seems there was no enforcement of silence rule during night/early morning. 3. Beds were really uncomfortable. 4. Overall hotel maintenance seemed poor. 5. Good point: because of the above points, we decided to check-out from the hotel after the first night. Then we spoke with the hotel manager (Jorge), which agreed to reimburse us for the full amount of the nights not spent there. So cheers for Jorge and for hotels.com Team on the support to get this refund. 6. Lastly: the pool you see as the main picture on the property add was super dirty. The picture does not represent it at all.

Great location with free gated parking. Great deal for Hotel in Hollywood area. Breakfast was not so many choice and basic. Comfort bed and nice amenities for the price.

Water pressure and supplies in the shower shampoo conditioner and body lotion and hairdryer were great. Fridge and microwave and tv work great too. Bars and gates were good but if you have a high profile vehicle avoid parking in the under building garage. Our biggest complaint was the street noise and traffic all hours.

Room was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Underground, closed parking garage was amazing. The neighborhood was concerning, a lot of homeless and questionable people at every direction. Sirens of police cars and fire department at almost all times. Even the smallest sounds came through to the room. The TV was outdated and the showerhead is placed so low, that a 6-foot tall person can't enjoy a shower.

We stayed there to be close to family that lived 4 minutes down the road For the price it was ok.we were close to the Bowl and Hollywood ..my only complaint was we came back late one night and there was no secure gated parking available lots of heavy foot trafic ..not having my car secure is a big decision breaker..if your car isnt a factor then the price is ok.

The property was very clean and well maintained. If they had some pictures on the walls in the room that would make it brighter. The colors were fine but add some pop. The best was great and the sheets were like butter. Plenty of towels, good shower, hot water. We had the balcony suite so there is a separate bed room with bunk beds. We used that for luggage although the rooms are spacious. Free parking was the amazing Breakfast was fine .Pool looked nice but we did not get to use it. I'd come back. The location was good for what we wanted.Staff very nice.

LA is sleezy so no fault f the hotel but bad area, that being said, it was close to everything so that was nice. Parking was very secure as was the hotel. Everything was clean, sheets were soft, pillows were nice, mattress was bad.

Very basic hotel, nothing fancy. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean. Walkable to lots of tourist spots. No elevator so be aware if you’re older.

It was a great location at a great value price. No rowdiness just chill laid back spot that has been maintained. Was a great value for the location. For anyone used to driving large cars or large SUV’s just get something small as parking there and the rest of ca is tight. RAV4 was pushing the limits.

Great budget hotel. We had a king room and it was clean and nice. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were soft and clean. The bathroom was in good condition and clean. The remote control did not work very well and was a bit sticky. The blackout blinds didn’t work as well as I hoped. The free breakfast was nice and staff helped with the waffles and were very attentive. The pool area was a little bit shabby but the pool was clean and warm. It was nice that parking was included but I didn’t love that the garage was only for compact cars. There are cameras on the outside that face the outdoor parking though, which made me feel a little better. It’s Hollywood, so the area is a bit sketchy, but there’s not much anyone can do about that. Overall, if you’re looking for a clean, quiet budget hotel with friendly staff, I’d definitely recommend this spot.

It exceeded my expectations. Clean, modern and the bed was AMAZING. I slept like a baby for the 4 nughts i stayed. Great staff as well.

I like the place, especially the cleanliness of my room

I encountered a bed bug infestation in my room, resulting in multiple bites and a very uncomfortable experience. Despite informing the front desk at the time, I have not received a satisfactory response or resolution.

First and last time booking a room here. Terrible experience, we found a cockroach in my room. The bathtub was rusty and dirty. Towels did not smell clean.

The hotel is really well located but that it’s all! The hotel is not clean and the rooms has bed-bugs!! My husband had an allergy reaction where all his back and front had a bad rash; we even had to go to the urgent care for treatment. Hotel didn’t take responsibility of what happens and they only refund the nights we decided not longer stay!! We are putting a complain to the health department for inspection. Do not recommend to stay in there!! It’s not cheap and quality is really bad!

The air conditioner was filthy, the floor was dirty. The free breakfast was a joke. They have not put any money into any improvements. They could at least check the trash once a day. Would never stay at again. I would have complained but they seemed like the kind of people who whould have made ul a reason to kick you out.

Good location, however the breakfast was very limited and the owners watched you eat. Whilst the room itself was neat enough, we found a cockroach in our room. The pool was very dirty as was the pool area.

For a two star hotel with walking distance to Hollywood Blvd, free gated parking, and free breakfast, not bad at all. Yes, it's noisy but you're in Hollywood. Yes, the walls are thin because I heard the neighbor snoring. But fast check in, clean rooms, walking to Hollywood Walk of Fame and sunset Blvd, I'd recommend it just for quick stays.

Very loud traffic all night long so couldn't sleep

This is a walk able area to Hollywood walk.. The room ac was extremely loud which made it hard to sleep and it was located facing the road which was also noisy. Staff are friendly and had good breakfast options.

No wiFi!

Although the hotel rooms were clean , however, the only thing I did not like is that the out Appearance look like some locked up facility that had bars around it and at night time all you hear is helicopters, police siren and people racing in the street it’s not a good hotel to stay in if you want quietness and trying to get some sleep at night. The walls are so thin you can hear people upstairs and you can hear people in the hallway, walking up and down the stairs it’s very noisy at this place.

Walls are very thin so I heard everything happening above me which freaked me out a little.

Street noise was terrible. Breakfast offerings were very minimal. Pool area was small but peaceful. Bed was comfortable. Room was tiny.

Great location for exploring Hollywood. Air conditioned room was a life saver.. staff all friendly..

No one at checking on a Friday night near 6pm. Sign said "Be back in 20 minutes.". Nobody showed up for 25 minutes. Person in front of me was already waiting. By the time employee showed up, 4 people were waiting. Staff was otherwise nice enough and room was clean and comfortable enough. It's unfortunate that the initial experience put a damper on my stay.

Staff was very courteous and helpful. Location was great. Free onsite parking convenient.

Jorge at the front desk was so nice and super helpful! He allowed us to check in early so that we could head to Universal and leave our luggage. The location is great and felt safe, rooms were clean and comfortable as well. Would definitely stay again if in the area!

I’m all about “vibes” and Privacy. The room was clean, but walls were SO thin; I could hear everything (or at least the majority) coming from the room adjacent to mine. Reception was unfriendly. Wouldn’t recommend

The staff was very unpleasant. Breakfast was strange and unconfortable waffles and cereal is not breakfast.

Great value for the price! Stayed there with our two 13 yo daughters. Felt safe. Parking was convenient. Near some cool attractions. Walkable to public transportation. Staff was super friendly & the breakfast guy was great! Definitely recommend. It’s West Hollywood so you’re going to see homeless people & garbage while walking around but for the price, you can’t beat it.

Property felt safe to stay at. Property offers 24/7 coffee, has a drink vending machine. Pool is maintained and clean. Definitly family friendly. Rooms are a good size: We had four guest in our room with two queen beds and the rooms were spacious for all four while offering sink, blow dryer, microwave, mini fridge, clean countertops, coffee maker, shower/tub (insanely great water pressure!). Towels are clean and bedding aswell! They change beddings everytime you request for your room to be cleaned! Clean floors. No elevator but it was pretty easy to get our suitcases to the second floor! Overall 10/10 experience, highly recommend. There is a nearby In n Out, Ross, 7/11, Starbucks, Burger King and a laundrymat across the hotel.

Was a safe hotel near a few different options for food and walking distance from the walk of fame. Breakfast was average and I wouldn’t really rate it but the staff was nice. All in all was convenient and in a great spot for what you pay :) would stay here again

The position of the hotel was exactly as required but the area was a little rough. the room we were allocated, number 100, was in good condition, clean, but noisy, being closest to the street outside. Nevertheless, we had a good night and would stay here again.

The hotel offers an excellent location for anyone visiting Universal Studios, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Griffith Observatory, and other major attractions. There are many restaurants and grocery stores nearby, which makes the stay very convenient. The property also provides free parking (a rare benefit in Los Angeles) and a simple complimentary breakfast, which includes a very good waffle. It is a small hotel without an elevator, so guests need to carry their luggage up the stairs, but the building has a maximum of two floors, which minimizes the inconvenience. Overall, it provides very good value for the price.

The property is a convenient location for the Hollywood Walk of Fame and clean/fresh paint, but the property is in a very unsafe location. Very close to busy La Brea Ave., with thin windows, traffic, and homeless people arguing on the streets can be heard 24/7. Two hotel guests' car was broken into outside on the street. Parking in the garage is convenient but small/tight; driving anything larger than Toyota RAV4 will not fit. The entrance and Exit into the garage is a one-way steep incline ramp very, very tight and can scratch a car in if not careful. The furniture in the room was damaged and needed deep professional steam cleaning. Housekeeping never turned the room within 3 days (we never saw anyone on the property), and the stickers in the room said they took pride in cleanliness, but obviously, they did not when they were large amounts of hair shower drains and in all corners of the room. Expressed these concerns to the front desk, and they said they would take care of it while we were out, but they never upheld their promise. The front desk was always on personal phones or sitting by the people, to which I was told to wait when checking in and out. Very disappointing/terrible as previous stays at Quality Inn were 10 times better. Would not recommend paying the extra money for a better place; this place does not meet the Quality in the hotel's name.

comfortable room located in the heart of Hollywood what could be better and reasonable price

The Quality Inn is close to the Chinese Theatre and Hollywood walk of fame. The hotel takes great care to keep its inside safe and looking nice. Our car was safe and nothing happened to us either. The hotel has video surveillance and their is always staff available. However being a tourist area there is a homeless problem in the surrounding area.

Staff was great! Our room was super clean as was the building. The streets outside the building were a little run down with garbage and SOME homeless but it goes with the area… would stay here again as the price and convenience of the location were good as well as the clean room. Thank you Quality Inn Hollywood for a good stay!

Good area, quiet, easy access to walk of fame, Restaurants and attractions!

Hollywood Boulevard is walkable distance from Quality Inn.. it’s an ideal place to stay.

This is an average hotel, but the AREA IS TERRIBLE--we were actually followed by someone when we left the hotel on foot to try to get food in the area at night--we made several intentionally random deviations from our intended path to verify the person was following us and doubled back. Moreover, the suspect was intentionally trailing in, what for most people would be, a blind spot. We went into a 7-11 and had them call the police--when the suspect saw us talking to the clerk, he fled. Again, acceptable hotel, but not a great area--you can also tell this by the prison bars that surround the entire hotel.

Very small rooms. Extremely tight basement parking. Very poor breakfast. There is no bread and eggs in breakfast. Definitely not worth for the money you pay.

No breakfast beside a brown bag frozen food. So much noise hard to sleep.

Very bad customer service. Staff members are rude! Very few choices of food at free breakfast and the quality of the food was poor. For example, the waffle was stale and hard. Who eats that?

Internet in rooms is poor. Internet cuts in and out often and is slow. Hard to work when internet is poor. Breakfast is below a continental breakfast standard. TVs and TV controls are old and hard to change channels. Bathroom door at top has 1 inch open space (like door was too short). . Bathroom / shower grout needs deep cleaning.

The only thing that is upsetting is the small breakfast area, also it would be really nice to have some kind of protein offered.
