My visit started with no one at front desk for 5 mins while waiting to check in, my room was small as expected. I wasn't expecting walls with scratches on the wall. The bathroom was worse, wall messed up, toilet paper holder ripped halfway off the wall, same with shelf in shower, the air vent had an inch of dust on it. The door to the front of the hotel was broken, anyone could walk into the hotel and get on elevator. I was asked if I wanted my room cleaned up an employee in the hallway cleaning rooms. I said no, later in the day when I returned, I saw all of my towels replaced, so someone went in my room. At one point my key didn't work, and I went to front desk. They fixed it but didn't really verify my id. Kind of scary that someone could have told them my room number and a key would be given. Last, I know it was New York but could hear lots of things on the street and from other rooms. For what I paid, I expected much better conditions.

It was pretty good. Staff was excellent and accommodating. Room could be surprising for how small it was. For the price, and it being nyc, im not surprised but first time nyc visitors would be surprised. Smallest room ever. Free breakfast was, not so good. Apples, yogurt, fruit cups, a couple muffins in plastic wrap, and free coffee. I drank a lot of coffee. But once again, for the price it was appropriate. 4/5

The AC in my room spelled of urine, either from the unit itself or from the air intake outside. Had to keep it turned off the entire stay.

I had a disappointing stay that fell short of cleanliness and service standards. While the room appeared tidy at first glance, a deeper look revealed significant issues: there was debris on the floor under the bed, the AC knobs were greasy, and the unit itself emitted a strong moldy odor. The room also suffered from poor maintenance, including multiple wall blemishes and a toilet paper dispenser that had fallen off, leaving behind unsightly, unpainted plaster patches. Service was equally lackluster; while not outwardly rude, the staff was unwelcoming and entirely absent from the front desk, forcing me to wait 30 minutes just to check in. Key Concerns Regarding My Stay: * **Cleanliness Issues:** Visible debris beneath the furniture and neglected, greasy surfaces on the climate control equipment. * **Air Quality:** The AC unit produced an unpleasant moldy smell, which was very concerning. * **Poor Maintenance:** Several signs of disrepair, such as loose fixtures and poorly patched, unpainted holes in the
