Under doesn't cover into the old town but you can arrange a taxi with the hotel out walk cl for 7 minutes to the Uber pickup place which is very easy even with luggage. The hotel is really nice and clean. The fitness sauna was clean every struggle time we used it(4 days). Clean towels and tidy room every day on our way back to the hotel. We were in floor 4 and the view was nice! Quite for being so close to the main square. We didn't get the hotel breakfast since their are way too many good options of traditional restaurants around the area. It's a 40 minute walk to the Schindler' factory, or a 17 minute walk to wltgr Wawel Castle 🏰.

The hotel was clean and in a fantastic location. The reception staff where very helpful when we checked in and with booking our trips and transfers. The hotel doesn't have any bar or restaurant facilities which seemed unusual but with so many great places on our doorstep we didn't really mind

Hotel Unicus is well placed in the Old City a short walk to the main square. Generally a good hotel. The hotel has a good lift. Downside > The hotel does not have a lounge area or bar. The beds are made up in the mornings but are not dressed at night.

I booked this hotel as was looking for a hotel with bar and restaurant. On hotels.com it said there was a bar and restaurant but when we arrived we were informed by reception there was no bar and they only served breakfast in the restaurant. The bar and restaurant had been closed for 2 years. Dispite this the hotel was lovely with large clean rooms and the location is excellent with the market square a short walk away. I reported this issue with hotels.com when I got back but they have done nothing about it and continue to falsely advertise the bar and restaurant so I wanted to right this review to make others aware!!

Really well located hotel if you’re visiting Krakow and want to be in the heart of the action. There is a misleading sign for the “bar” which in fact is a casino where you have to register to get in - it takes ages. Didn’t have breakfast or eat at all so can’t comment on that. Room was a good size. Pillows super comfortable.

Five stars all around. Best value for money. Amazing breakfast in a cave-like setting. Service, Room, Wi-Fi and all other amenities are excellent. Sauna onsite is a plus. 1 min walk to the main shopping street and 3 minutes walk to old town. Highly recommended.

V izbe bolo cítiť cigaretový dym, zápach bolo cítiť z klimatizácie. Smrad bol hlavne v noci. V podzemí je bar/ kasíno a tam sa fajčí, čiže odtiaľ to asi cítiť stále. Poloha hotela fajn, to je asi tak všetko.

Ett mycket trivsamt hotell i Gamla Stan, nära ingången från Krakow C. Det var rymliga rum med sköna sängar. Rent och snyggt. Vissa detaljer var slitna/skadade som lister i korridoren och bordskivor i rummet. Trevlig och tillmötesgående personal. Plus med gratis vattenflaskor på rummet.

The location could not be better - right in the centre of Old Town. Breakfast is at a sister hotel just over the road at the Wyndham Hotel. I would say it was one of the best show of buffet breakfast I have ever enjoyed, the food, the variety and the staff all excellent. However, the carpets in the two rooms we stayed in at Unicus and in the corridor was probably as old as the hotel itself and very soiled not necessarily dirty but badly soiled with age - not something you want to walk on in bare feet. I would happily stay there again for it's convenient location and excellent breakfast but only when they have resolved the carpet issue.

Nice hotel, very centrally located, it smells smoke in the corridor from the casino, and in the first room (207), so I've had to change the room, which was nice and smell free (104), great breakfast, which was at their syster hotel just around the corner.

Great location only a few blocks from the main square. The bed was comfortable and I loved the heated floors in the bathroom. However it did get a bit noisy sometimes. There are trumpets that go off a lot and they’re very noticeable early in the morning. I also had a bit of trouble finding the hotel because the sign hanging out the front said ‘Casino’ so I thought I was in the wrong place. Also there were 2 chairs in the room for some reason which made it a bit cluttered and sometimes awkward to access the mini fridge in the room

The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The only downside was the room temperature. The air conditioning wasn’t very effective, so the room felt quite warm during our stay. It made sleeping a bit uncomfortable, especially on hotter days. Wooden blinds in the room let sunlight in from 4am which made sleep difficult. My room was very cozy for a solo traveler. The bathroom was updated but the furniture and light fixtures should be updated as should the carpet and the drapes .Want to point out the breakfast buffet is not on site; one has to go out around the corner to the Wyndham Hotel The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. For a 4 star property that has competition almost every where you turn, a refresh seems long overdue

I don’t know. I was involuntarily moved to a hotel further away from where I needed to be with no explanation. I still don’t know why after I’ve checked out. The other hotel (Unicus Palace) was incredibly annoying, hot, loud, toiletries smelled like a bad body odor, the shower head would only point down at the wall due to poor quality fixtures. Would never stay there or any of their hotels again. Terrible stay with this brand. Terrible.

Hotel staff was excellent. There was an issue with my room the first night and it was dealt with immediately. I traveled alone and part of the reason I booked this hotel was 24 hour front desk staffing. I wanted a hotel where I felt safe and secure. The hotel staff spoke fluent english and were very professional. They assisted me in making travel reservations to and from the airport. I stayed in a single room and found the room very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel.

Not a 4 star experience I expected. Hotel curtains were broken which meant we could draw them at night. They got fixed once but they broke immediately again and staff was not interested in fixing them again. Rooms are hot and it’s not possible to sleep with the window open due to the noise. Every night we had to call the reception to switch the heating off in our room, no AC. Hotel is opposite a nightclub which is very noise until 4 am most nights. Lots of loud music and people shouting on the street. Limited toiletries.

The Hotel Unicus is a gem! Incredible location just two blocks off the main square but also on the side of the train station. We got to and from the train station in about 10 minutes while strolling with our rolling bags. Anything you need is steps away. Our room was HUGE and modern. Staff were lovely. They even provided us with early check-in. We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat if anything brought us back to Krakow. Big thumbs up from this family.

I enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again! It was very centrally located and it was an easy walk to everywhere I wanted to go. They arranged the car service for me to and from the airport and it went very smoothly. Breakfast was just down the street at another hotel and it was fabulous! Breakfast was very fancy with tons of options (they even had prosecco and crème brûlée at breakfast). The room was comfortable and quiet. The staff were very friendly and answered all of my questions.

Super hotel in a perfect area of the Old Town. End of November visit for the Christmas markets and it did not disappoint. Rooms are toasty with enough space and everything you need for a long weekend. Breakfast also great, in fact better than expected. Will be recommending to others. If in doubt don’t be, book it!
