We were a little concerned when we arrived, rang the dorbell and no one seemed there. The lights were on but it took two rings and a long wait before the host unlocked the door. Then she seemed a bit confused about who we were, when we had made our reservation and actually thought we had checked in already earlier that day. The room was nice, had everything we needed. It was on the third floor of a very tight staircase so caryying luggage up and down was not easy. Location was convenient for groceries. Parking was on the street, but we were given a permit to put in the window. Breakfast items in the group kitchen were nice to have - things like cereal, toast, jelly, etc.

Booked for overnight business stay, the owner emailed to check arrival time, parking was free and on site. The room was very comfortable, and continental breakfast was good. Walked to restaurant, lovely area. Would definitely stay again

Séjour très agréable. La kitchenette et le petit déjeuner très varié en libre service mis à disposition, très pratique. L'accueil très sympathique et les chambres confortables. seul point un peu négatif: le stationnement dans une rue derrière la maison pas très facile,ruelle très encombrée et cul de sac où il n'est pas facile de faire demi-tour.

St. Aidan's guesthouse was an older Inn with so much charm! It was convienently situated close to many bus stops that could take you to the city center in 20-25 minutes. The room was tastefully decorated and had comfortable beds. There is a small, well-stocked kitchen for breakfast - we even bought some items and made supper there one evening. Over our 4 night stay, we met Anna and Emmitt - both of whom were very friendly and extremely friendly.

The place is in an adorable multi-level Victorian house. The owner, the Marie was very gracious and helpful and even provided us with a lovely tray of tea and pastries when we arrived, we called taxis for us and gave advice for various things. It was also a pretty good location - - just a 3 minute walk from a bus stop that will take you to most places. Also, many of even though there's no hot breakfast, but there's a nice selection of yogurt, oatmeal, bread, boiled eggs, and fruit, and drinks, and etc available to all guests for no extra charge. The only disappointment is that there are no elevatoss and there's several steps climb, but depending on which room you're put in. (There's also no A/CS, but that seems to be the case for many places in Ireland.)

This is a large B&B in a leafy street in a good suburb of Dublin, close to bus transport to city centre and other city attractions. No restaurant on site but kitchen available to residents and many eateries within 10 minutes walking distance. Good value for money.

本当にラブリーで素敵なハウスでした。 遅い到着にもきちんと対応していただきました。 リビングルームもお部屋も素敵過ぎました。 10部屋もあるとは驚きました。キッチンは１つなので、他の人と同じ時間だと、小さなL型キッチンなので、並んで調理は無理でしょうね。貸し切りできて良かったです。

Beautiful, cozy old Georgian property just outside Dublin central. Advertised breakfast was continental self-serve only in a small cubby down the hall, had not served full since covid. Advert needs changing. Not fancy, not modern but homey, warm and welcoming. Our room was small and crowded with the bed for 2 and the single for our third person. Beds were comfortable and shower good. Not good for anyone not able to climb stairs or using a wheelchair. Loved the lounge and all the books available. Emmet was a fine host.

The property was lovely and warm and welcoming with a nice cup of tea and coffee on arrival. However the Expedia booking clearly states breakfast was included as that is what I put in my search. It turns out there was a selection of cereals & fruit ,yogurts in a small kitchen with nowhere specific to eat it,so maybe would be better off stating no breakfast on booking. As I wanted a full breakfast and would have paid more for it. Our room was lovely,overlooking the garden,all spotlessly clean but unfortunately the next morning the shower was absolutely freezing & no hot water from the tap either. This was a shame as we thought the guest house was beautiful.

We arrived early on a chilly rainy day and were greeted by Marie and Anna. They offered us the sitting room and brought us coffee and tea cake! It was delicious! We left while they prepared the room. When we returned, we were led to a spotless room that was super cozy! Everything was clean and fresh. We enjoyed a wonderful hot shower. We left again to get some dinner and later returned to sleep in the most comfortable bed! We enjoyed coffee every morning. Marie even allowed us to wash some clothes and left the clean dry clothes on our room. It was a great stay!

The guesthouse was clean and we liked the small kitchen that had things like toast, yogurt, and hard boiled eggs to quickly grab before heading out in the morning. Some things could use repair, like shower leaking outside of door, and common areas could use some updating (I.e. decor, torn sofas). The area was quiet, convenient to walkable nearby restaurants (try Lark in Terenure!), and easy to get to downtown Dublin by bus which is used by families and commuters too.

Short business trip to Dublin. The guest is located a few kilometers South of the City Center, and getting back into the City Center in rush hour traffic can be a bit of a hassle. The guest house itself is nice enough and located in a nice neighborhood. The room was small but comfortable, albeit with a view directly into the room opposite. I wouldn’t mind staying there again, but for a business trip I would probably prefer something closer to the City Center.

Trevligt boende i lugnt område. Positiv överraskning att frukost ingår, även om man skulle tillaga själv. Tillgång till litet kök (delat) var bra, så man inte behöver äta på restaurang varje dag. Det som drar ned betyget något var att en av sängarna var väldigt nedlegad.

The property itself and the location are fantastic. Really lovely host and overall a great experience. My only one comment is that the wall was quite thin in my room and i was kept awake until 3 am by the neighbour guest shouting on his phone all night but there will always be inconsiderate people in the world! Fab house and beautiful place to stay. I will come again

Das Zimmer war sauber und die Betten waren okay. Leider gab es keinen Schrank um seine Sachen unter zu brinken (man lebt aus dem Koffer). Nur ein kleiner Tisch steht zur verfügung - an dem Frühstücken sehr beengt statt fand.

After finishing cooking seafood the previous night, the next morning while in my room, I overheard the female staff member, possibly the owner, yelling at the cleaning lady about the fish smell. She said, "The fish smelled terrible. I don’t know where it’s coming from. It’s everywhere. She only stayed for one night." The cleaning lady assured her she was already dealing with it. Upon arrival the day before, I was shown around, and the guy mentioned I could use the kitchen for dinner. He also said if I needed anything, I could knock on the staff room door. Throughout my stay, I had to knock on the door for assistance with TV and stove issues, feeling guilty about bothering the owner repeatedly. With no reception desk, the only option was to knock for assistance. I discovered the kitchen was lacking utensils after I bought the seafood. Despite making cooking difficult, I had to cook the seafood I bought. I turned on the range hood, but it didn’t work well. Smoke filled the kitchen, with another guest pan-frying beef. The owner came in with a candle while we were in the kitchen, commenting on the fish smell. As I left my room in the morning, I wondered if I should apologize for the fish smell, but all I could smell was pan-fried beef. The owner's comments made me feel particularly uncomfortable, as if I wasn't welcome and had done something wrong. Overall, this was the worst stay experience I've had while traveling in Ireland.

Despite making cooking difficult, I had to cook the seafood I bought. I turned on the range hood, but it didn’t work well. Smoke filled the kitchen, with another guest pan-frying beef. The owner came in with a candle while we were in the kitchen, commenting on the fish smell. As I left my room in the morning, I wondered if I should apologize for the fish smell, but all I could smell was pan-fried beef. The owner's comments made me feel particularly uncomfortable, as if I wasn't welcome and had done something wrong. Overall, this was the worst stay experience I've had while traveling in Ireland.

We were a little concerned when we arrived, rang the dorbell and no one seemed there. The lights were on but it took two rings and a long wait before the host unlocked the door. Then she seemed a bit confused about who we were, when we had made our reservation and actually thought we had checked in already earlier that day. The room was nice, had everything we needed. It was on the third floor of a very tight staircase so caryying luggage up and down was not easy. Location was convenient for groceries. Parking was on the street, but we were given a permit to put in the window. Breakfast items in the group kitchen were nice to have - things like cereal, toast, jelly, etc.

The location is good. But the owner did not give me the booked room (comfort double room) but a box room, cold, damp with the heating that made a very loud noise. I was only moved to a better room after complaining. In this room the shower leaked and the hand shower could not be positioned. Overall I didn't like the owner's attitude. You don't get what you pay for.

We arrived early on a chilly rainy day and were greeted by Marie and Anna. They offered us the sitting room and brought us coffee and tea cake! It was delicious! We left while they prepared the room. When we returned, we were led to a spotless room that was super cozy! Everything was clean and fresh. We enjoyed a wonderful hot shower. We left again to get some dinner and later returned to sleep in the most comfortable bed! We enjoyed coffee every morning. Marie even allowed us to wash some clothes and left the clean dry clothes on our room. It was a great stay!

The place is in an adorable multi-level Victorian house. The owner, the Marie was very gracious and helpful and even provided us with a lovely tray of tea and pastries when we arrived, we called taxis for us and gave advice for various things. It was also a pretty good location - - just a 3 minute walk from a bus stop that will take you to most places. Also, many of even though there's no hot breakfast, but there's a nice selection of yogurt, oatmeal, bread, boiled eggs, and fruit, and drinks, and etc available to all guests for no extra charge. The only disappointment is that there are no elevatoss and there's several steps climb, but depending on which room you're put in. (There's also no A/CS, but that seems to be the case for many places in Ireland.)

Host was so helpful! Allowed later check in around 10pm, set us up a travel cot for our baby. Offered a help yourself breakfast that was super tasty. Tea and coffee in the room. Daily tidying of our room. Had a living room space to chill which really helped while having the baby with us. All around lovely lovely place to stay and if I’m in Dublin again I would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at St. Aiden's. We were instantly welcomed and shown to our room. The space was great and the neighborhood was walkable with lots of dining options. It is very accessible to other parts of Dublin.

Short business trip to Dublin. The guest is located a few kilometers South of the City Center, and getting back into the City Center in rush hour traffic can be a bit of a hassle. The guest house itself is nice enough and located in a nice neighborhood. The room was small but comfortable, albeit with a view directly into the room opposite. I wouldn’t mind staying there again, but for a business trip I would probably prefer something closer to the City Center.

St. Aidan's guesthouse was an older Inn with so much charm! It was convienently situated close to many bus stops that could take you to the city center in 20-25 minutes. The room was tastefully decorated and had comfortable beds. There is a small, well-stocked kitchen for breakfast - we even bought some items and made supper there one evening. Over our 4 night stay, we met Anna and Emmitt - both of whom were very friendly and extremely friendly.

The property was lovely and warm and welcoming with a nice cup of tea and coffee on arrival. However the Expedia booking clearly states breakfast was included as that is what I put in my search. It turns out there was a selection of cereals & fruit ,yogurts in a small kitchen with nowhere specific to eat it,so maybe would be better off stating no breakfast on booking. As I wanted a full breakfast and would have paid more for it. Our room was lovely,overlooking the garden,all spotlessly clean but unfortunately the next morning the shower was absolutely freezing & no hot water from the tap either. This was a shame as we thought the guest house was beautiful.

Great place to stay. We were received well and given a good intro into how St Aiden’s Guest House Operates. There is a guest kitchen and lounge where guests can get their own free continental breakfast and mingle with other guests. The bus is only 5 mins walk away.

Overall an enjoyable experience. Quaint guesthouse. Self-service breakfast on hand in a small kitchenette. Choice of cereals, bread, jams, cheeses, eggs, bacon and yogurt. Lots of pots, pans, crockey and cutlery were provided. Microwave and oven available for preparing small snacks. Room was clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

The guesthouse was clean and we liked the small kitchen that had things like toast, yogurt, and hard boiled eggs to quickly grab before heading out in the morning. Some things could use repair, like shower leaking outside of door, and common areas could use some updating (I.e. decor, torn sofas). The property is nice. Its close to the bus stop. I thought the reservation came with a full breakfast but i must have misread. Beautiful, cozy old Georgian property just outside Dublin central. Advertised breakfast was continental self-serve only in a small cubby down the hall, had not served full since covid. Advert needs changing. Not fancy, not modern but homey, warm and welcoming. Our room was small and crowded with the bed for 2 and the single for our third person. Beds were comfortable and shower good. Not good for anyone not able to climb stairs or using a wheelchair. Loved the lounge and all the books available. Emmet was a fine host.

This I feel should be made clearer on the details. Definitely I would advise to call/contact before booking if you will need parking. I only book hotels/bnbs with parking as after a long day travelling I don't want to spend ages trying to find parking on arrival, (like I did here, (50 minutes driving around trying to find parking!) My single room with private bathroom was super clean, cosy and just perfect for me. It had a lovely green, leafy outlook too as it overlooked the front garden. The staff here are all so friendly, welcoming & helpful, shame I couldn’t stay longer. The little kitchen was an absolute and totally unexpected bonus - completely complimentary food items, which is almost unheard of these days. How very thoughtful indeed.I did not need a parking space but I believe that they have can provide private parking by arrangement. Thanks a million guys for my stay.

We LOVED our stay at St. Aiden's Guesthouse! When we arrived, we were brought to a lovely front sitting room and served tea and coffee cake. Our rooms were tidy, lovely, and comfortable. Highly recommend. We only wish we could have stayed longer. :)
