Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Richmond West at I-64, VA

Great hotel. Chemicals in hot tub too strong and irritated my nose. Other than that great stay

Very courteous and nice front desk staff, but the facility is not overall what I expected from Radisson that I knew from other cities. Gym urgently needs repair or don’t even list it as part of amenities because people expect it to be in working conditions. This is 2.5 star motel.

Great property, clean, and safe. Hot tub was not working unfortunately but pool was warm.

In town for quick overnight stay. Didn’t look to be in a great area of town. Warned us not to park by plasma center to avoid getting towed. Hot tub out of service. Pool area dark, water cold when web site said heated pool. Small creaky elevator. Heater unit in bedroom VERY LOUD. Bedroom got hot while living area too cold. Pull out bed didn’t have linens but desk clerk brought some when we asked. Best thing was waffle maker at breakfast

Excellent stay. Just know that you need to abide by their parking policy. Park in their lot only or you will be towed. They were very clear about this when we checked in.

When we checked in, we were informed the elevator was broken and they were waiting on a part. It was 8pm, so no 1st floor rms avail. No discount offered. Only a cancelation & we could go stay somewere else. My roommate's neuropathy made getting to the room a little difficult, but I carried the luggage up on a couple of trips. (No offers of assistance from the hotel staff/mgr). The room itself was just OK. Beds were not up to current hotel comfort standards. Not awful, but I won't be staying here again.

Nice property made rooms up everyday. Had an electric charging station for car.

Not enough parking spaces, air-conditioning in room too loud, need updated charging plugs for phones, need bigger TV, too small. Ruggs in room needs cleaning. Elevator not vented properly its always hot. Door to rooms slammes shut. Needs to closed very slow to not interrupt other customer's when their sleep.

The hotel itself was nice enough for the price and safe as far as the hotel was concerned but the area seemed a bit unsafe leaving the hotel. The rooms were dingy. The breakfast offered a lot but was ordinary in quality. the staff was nice and it was reasonably clean. The pool was delightfully warm but not clear so I did not swim given the prevalence of disease currently.

Rooms were very dirty. Hair in bathroom. Hair on the towels. Hair in the shower. Floors and furniture were stained.

We rented 2 rooms from Thursday - Sunday for a soccer tournament. One of the rooms(my kids room) had a very strong musty/mold smell. Mold around window and molding near heater/AC. I spoke to front desk about this on Friday. I was told we could switch as soon as they had clean rooms. When we arrived back from our Soccer game a new person was at the desk and i explained. Her response was “well that’s not what I was told. Also she said she went to the room and couldn’t smell anything” I told her I have 2 rooms that have 2 completely different smells and she was more than welcome to accompany me to smell the difference. She then said well I don’t have another king suite so….. I replied with give me anything. I’d rather my children do not sleep in a musty, mold infested room. No compensation offered for the downgrade on the room for the remaining 2 nights. Hotel is a bit dated.

Bathroom had hair all over the floor. Finger prints all over the dresser, and the shower water was cold. We will never return

Clean hotel with friendly staff and great breakfast

Large groups of people being loud and smoking marijuana right outside the hotel. Dirty bathroom and wet carpet upon arrival.

The furniture in the lobby was stained no one at the front desk for about 30 minutes and there were several people waiting to check in. The room looked nice enough then we went to the bathroom. There was black mold on one wall next to the tub. I did take a picture. The toilet ran all night, so we kept the door shut and for me the mattress was harder than my concrete floor. I even found wet toilet paper on the floor under the sink which I cleaned up. I will not recommend or stay at this location again.

Bathroom floor had stuck poop on it, and was not mopped.

First room had mold all over bed frame. Second room had less mold. So that’s better I guess

Our room keys rarely ever worked and on some tries after 10 or more attempts still failed. We were given 3 replacements and they still worked sporadically, if at all. The breakfast is fair, coffee poor. The staff is friendly. People hang out out front smoking cigarettes which have burned the plastic tables and ruined them. We will not be returning.

Very spacious and comfortable room for the price. It was a pleasure staying at this hotel for the night.

The property itself was fine my complaint was that the heat did not work

I will say this isn't a bad hotel to stay in but it definitely needs some upgrades. I haven't stayed in a Country Inn and Suites in a while but the quality of the room has definitely changed. Shower pressure wasn't great at all and the beds were ok. Key card didn't work and had to be programmed again and still stopped working. I probably wouldn't stay here again. I'm not one of those people that expects everything to be perfect, but you expect the important things to be on point. I probably wouldn't stay here again

I like the Country Inn. My only complaint is that the televisions are small and outdated. Nasty work.

Very comfortable bed, large room, microwave and refrigerator, clean bathroom with good shower, adequate breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, and fitness room and indoor pool. Negatives are very slow WIFI and small TV with low def. Reminded me of watching TV in the 70’s.

Our stay was good and the staff was very friendly. The only thing that would have made it better is the pillows on the bed were about the size of a accent pillow for a couch rather than a normal sleeping pillow. A larger pillow would have been much nicer.

Too noisy. Thin walls , could hear the room occupants from Upstairs u it walking jumping all night. Smelly bathrooms .

The heat didn't work for room 104 it was freezing had to layer up with blankets

This is the third time we have stayed here. Beds are comfortable and staff is friendly.

I always enjoy staying @ this hotel, however you have 1 very irritating lady at the front desk when I checked in on Sunday -- she asks and makes the dumbest statements

Everything was clean, quick, and efficient. Such a fantastic stay with excellent customer service.

All appliances, tvs etc were very out dated. The beds in the room felt hard/ skeleton like. I would rather the hotel charge a little more and update the amenities. There was a homeless lady and her daughter allowed to set in the lobby and outside the main door and beg for money as you came in and out of the hotel. There were several times I would arrive to the desk and no one worked there was in site and there was no way to communicate to anyone that you needed assistance. I call the front desk several times and no one answered as well. I didn’t truly feel safe because anyone could just walk in and out especially since the desk was unattended. The nice older lady who checked us out was the best part of the experience. She was very pleasant found time to chat with me and my husband before we left but outside of her I will NEVER book this hotel again. -10/10

Very nice staff, very nice hotel. The pool and spa where amazing, cozzy rooms, maintenance helped me right away when I need the toilet unclogged, towel and face wipes brought every other day. Breakfast was very good, thank you for a welcoming stay!

Front desk check in, we had to wait 10 minutes for someone to show up and she wasn’t very friendly… first floor room very noisy, we heard everyone and everything!

Housekeeping barged in my room at 8am while I was sleeping talking about checkout. Then came back again at 1030. Checkout wasn’t until 12 and I had not left my room to checkout so I’m unsure why they kept barging into my room. Very pissed about this. I have never had this happen at any hotel I’ve stayed at.

Although the hotel was nice and rooms were clean and comfortable, our key didn’t work. We went back to the front desk and there was a family waiting but no sign of a front desk person. The family that was waiting had checked in but someone else was in their room. After calling out several times, the man with the family went looking for someone. He finally found her (folding towels) and she then told the family there was no one in the room. I didn’t understand why she would argue with them. We finally got our keys redone but I think the lock is going bad because we had to swipe the card multiple times before it would unlock. We ended up having to stay an additional night after checking out due to weather at home and although we were given the key to a new room, it wasn’t ready. Almost an hour later, we finally got in the room. There wasn’t a safety latch but at that point, we were so tired, we just locked the regular lock and called it a night. Oh, and Sunday morning, the fire alarm sounded. I grabbed my five year old grandson, threw clothes on since I was in the shower and we ran out. There was no one to tell us what was going on but another guest told us someone burned toast. Although I don’t expect the staff to risk their lives had it been a real fire, they could have sent someone to each floor to let everyone know there wasn’t a fire.

Everything looked clean. Breakfast could improve: more fruit choices, better bread/ pastry. Location surrending hotel is not appealing . Hotel is located in area where homeless people camp, one night police were looking for a man who tried to choke woman

The hotel was in the perfect location for us. There's a bunch of restaurants just a few minutes away and plenty of shopping.

It was quiet and peaceful. About a 12 minute drive to vcu and the surrounding areas, and 15 minutes to short pump. It was perfectly positioned, tucked away, and the staff were very kind. I was there on vacation with my partner and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

I always visiting Richmond and Country Inn & Suites @ I-64 is my go to spot -- relaxing, close to everything I need to get to and safe.

There was nothing unique about the property but our stay was very enjoyable! Great breakfast!

Everyone on staff was polite, helpful and kind. Rooms and entire hotel was clean. Breakfast had many good options. Coffee was available 24 hours daily. Would definitely stay again.

We were pleased with our room and furnishings. Breakfast was great as well.

Room was clean but lacked furniture: no extra table or bag stand. Breakfast was not very good unless you are fine with cold cereal. The warm food was cold (no burners going). Coffee was weak. The room and cleaner than the lobby would suggest.

Not what i expected out of a Country Inn & Suites. The breakfast was HORRIBLE. Sausage and waffles were basically raw and the coffee was bad.. There is a "NO Smoking" sign in at the front enterence where there is also the butt can for everyone to stand beside and smoke. The furniture all has burn marks on it from where people sat, smoked and put their cigarettes out on the furniture. The floor was EXTREMELY noisy from all the drunk adults. We NEVER had a chance to use the pool or gym because kids where in both ALL the time. The pool hours even state from 11pm-12pm it is adults Only but the pool was full of kids until midnight.. The One good thing was the lady at the front desk was So NICE. She was the best part of the stay

Breakfast was terrible

Staff exceedingly nice. Breakfast was “food” in name only. Dry powdery eggs, chewy pale waffles and sausage of undetermined composition. Coffee tasted like instant. There was one juice choice, Apple. Was told at 6:45 am that the OJ was all gone! Loud voices in hall and laundry going at 6 AM.

The pool was so cloudy that you couldn’t see the bottom steps. Also all the hot items for breakfast were cold.
