One of the most comfortable beds I’ve had the pleasure of sleeping in when traveling. Staff was always pleasant and kept everything very clean. Above average free breakfast with lots of options. Good location. Nice indoor /outdoor pool and 2 hot tubs one inside and one outside

Nice place in a great location just a short walk from the center of Jackson. Real nice pool area and friendly staff. Negatives were that the breakfast area is real small and parking is very limited, which was kind of frustrating given the cost (I was told I may need to find a spot on the street at check in). The room itself was clean and comfortable, and while it could use some updates, has a cool western vibe.

Beautiful rock & warm wood finishes. Pool & jacuzzi were appreciated on hot day. Cookies in afternoon were really tasty. Breakfast ok but won’t wow you. Room itself was 5-star.

I used the deluxe cabin, which was very clean and the kitchenette included a stove which I wasn't expecting. The fridge was small but included a freezer space as well. We also had our own designated parking space in front of the cabin which was very convenient and welcome. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was a little cramped but clean, though the faucets for both the bathtub and kitchen sink could use a refresh as they were rusted and old. Breakfast was free and included the usual hot and cold items, all which were good and filling. The coffee was excellent as well. Cabin was quiet despite being situated in close proximity to other cabins. The hotel was tucked away in a way that if you get the right cabins or hotel room you won't see much of the stores surrounding the area. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would book here again.

We stayed 1 night prior to visiting GTNP & Yellowstone & 1 night after. This review is for the latter. We arrived at check-in time but had to wait for cleaning to be completed. The property is very convenient (nice walk) to town square, restaurants & shopping. The outside of the property is very attractive & well maintained as is the Lobby area; however, our room with 2 queen beds was in need of an update - very dark, poorly lit & the shower/tub was moldy. Beds were comfortable & it was quiet. Breakfast is included & has nice selection. We didn't use the pool but it looked very nice. We were told parking was first come first served but was not a problem.

We arrive at 10pm. There was no light on the exterior parking. At the desk the employee was not sympathetic. It was difficult to find our cabin in the night but when I ask the employee to help us she just answered "it's easy to find. You don't need help". When we found our cabin Deluxe (I don't know how it can be called Deluxe), we discovered a little and dirty cabin. For 500 usd! We should be refund!

Don't be deceived by the lobby photos. Rooms were old, dirty and ours had a balcony view of dumpsters from the restaurant behind. 5am trash trucks coming to collect the trash kept everyone up. Also multiple times in the night it sounded like someone was trying to open our door. Stay elsewhere.

The hotel was very beautiful inside and the pool and hot tub were wonderful! I was unaware that we would not be staying in the hotel itself, but across the way at separate rooms which reminded me of an old time motel. Our room was very spacious, but getting very dated, the floors were squeaking, the carpets were dirty However, the bed was comfy. Breakfast was a full breakfast of your normal hotel type food, a very pretty area to sit, however not enough room for all the people. It really was not worth the $400 per night we paid.

Great location and nice that the room had a balcony. The main lodge was beautiful with a great morning breakfast. I wish the rooms were updated as well as the main lodge. Our room had a loft which was great and roomy. The room was old and dated but clean.

The rooms are dated and expensive for what you get. The pictures are definitely glow ups. Feels more like a Super 8. Location was the leading perk. Staff were friendly. If possible request a second floor room! The rooms were not quiet and other room noise and walking above on the walkway. Parking was limited by the actual rooms and the cabins each got two spaces… No smart TV and TV was very small. The bathroom needed maintaining and fixing of cracks. We booked a traditional room but were not assigned to that room.

We were in an older part of the property, which looked to be an old motel, and there was virtually no soundproofing from the floor above. The stomping around above us got so bad we asked to be moved to another room. We could hear people walking around in that room too. Strangely, we didn’t hear anything on either side of us, or voices, just walking above, very pronounced, and the pipes in the walls were loud. Have not really experienced this at a property before.

The staff was the “best”. Anything we needed was taken care of. Victor was quite accommodating and so very pleasant. He is a great representative for your hotel. If we ever come back to Jackson Hole we will definitely stay at Elk Country Inn!!

The hotel was very nice- the lobby and breakfast were great. The rooms were comfortable and walkable to all that Jackson Hole has to offer. One staff member made a key card for another guest to access our room which was very concerning, but the rest of the staff were apologetic and helped us rectify the situation.

Check out is at 11am. We went to breakfast and came back at 10am and the cleaning guy was in our room cleaning and had thrown out all of our food that we intended to eat today while traveling! We had not checked out and it was not checkout time yet so he shouldn’t have been in our room throwing away our things. Very disappointed.

Parking was easy to find. Staff was very kind and property was clean. We loved the pool area. I wish there were more lay flat pool chairs.

My kids loved the pool and the two hot tubs. The property was exceptionally clean, and the free breakfast was excellent. They offered a wide variety of options including eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, muffins, cereal, and more. My personal favorites were the Mexican hot chocolate and the potatoes. The location was also fantastic—just a short walk to downtown Jackson with plenty of dining and shopping options.

The property was beautiful, clean, well kept and in a great location for walking to shops and restaurants. The only negative we had was breakfast. Not only were they out of hot food at 8:30 when we went down, it remained empty for about 30 minutes till we were about to leave and when it arrived it was not good at all. We did see how they ran out though, cannibals for guests. Even though the bacon was undercooked and soggy, is probably not a good idea on buffets, as we saw people mounding their plates with 20+ pieces of bacon, ridiculous. Not that big of a deal since it was included, but expected better from such a nice facility.

Elk Country Lodge is truly a nice property. With nice rooms, attentive staff, and good location. Overall, very pleasant. But the breakfast experience was ...ugh. The dining room was crowded, disorganized, and chaotic. Which we can sort of forgive if the hotel is fully occupied, I guess... But the awkward placement of the food was very cramped and crowded, and the constant bumping into others was very frustrating, nonetheless. But the real problem was the food itself. The powdered egg "omelet blobs" were simply inedible. They were soggy wet, and utterly tasteless. (Worse than any airline meal ever.) Same with the "bacon" and "sausage". Whatever they really were, they were in tightly closed steamer pans, and absolutely soaked with steam water. We took one bite of each, and bailed out. We settled for the dry cereal and milk. And even though the price of the breakfast was included in our room rate, we went out to eat breakfast the next day.

One of the most overpriced hotels I have stayed in. Reception staff were lovely, other staff were rude. Room was really dark. Breakfast was very poor. On a 16 day Vegas to Yellowstone road trip, this was one of the more expensive hotels, but we stayed in better roadside motels.
