Awesome place to stay! They have so much to offer. Great burger restaurant, great bar, great breakfast restaurant, fun courtyard, games, pool. And a perfect location in Jackson. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Room was well stocked with towels, soaps and lotions ( which had this wonderful scent called “mountain air). Room was clean and the shower was amazing. Highly recommend this place!

Great local place to stay with daily breakfast across the parking lot, & less than 20 min walk to the downtown square. We loved being able to use the hot tubs at night after hiking in the Tetons and having s’mores around the campfires.

Had a great time with the family here and all the amenities. Only issue was chlorine in hot tub changing bathing suit colors. Hotel made it right and offered reimbursement for ruined suits. Would still stay here again for the pool area, bar on site and two food options.

Great for families. We loved almost everything about it except the room had a slight musty smell. The smores, pool, and free coffee/hot chocolate were a nice touch. We used it every single day. They hosted nightly events and food and alcohol were all onsite and so convenient. I would highly recommend!

Don’t stay here!!! This properties rates are very high for what you get. I’ve seen better for cheaper. We expected more for $400 a night. The room didn’t even have a microwave. The fridge had no freezer section. The furniture was worn and old. The lighting was dim and poor. The cleaning staff was negligent and didn’t provide daily linen change unless requested. We didn’t get fresh coffee or cups each day. The coffee pot was ancient. The hallways were dim, carpet worn and filthy. Security door to building was left open all the time. Parking lot had trash all over. What a terrible place for $400 a night.

First thing I noticed was the water damaged carpet at entry lobby. Lobby smelled. Coffee and tea, honey, good- room was clean. Beds and pillows comfortable. Air in room ok. Shower door is a poor design- brings water onto the floor. Shower handle hard to figure out. Firepits nice at night. Building and carpet is very old. If you have allergies or chemically sensitive, not a good choice. Tile would be much better than carpet.

Only 1 recommendation: it would be great if erooms were equipped with microwave oven also since there.isnt a.pubkic.one for use.in the registration office either. We had to go to a gas station to warm up.leftovers. otherwise, fantastic.... especially the cleanliness...

Loves staying here! Our first time in Jackson and this property was exactly what we were looking for. Away from Town square which was nice, but a quick 5 min drive. Room was nicely decorated and bed was comfortable. Nice having an out door hot tub to relax in at night. Amenities in the room were nice; so much so I purchased a bottle of the lotion to bring home. Free parking was a plus also!

The area was so overpriced during the time that I was there, that my only option for 90 miles was the Virginian for my business meeting. The walls were paper thin and the connecting door between my room and a strangers room had a broken lock that was obviously covered up by housekeeping with a trashcan holding it in place. When I came back to my room after dinner and discovered the door was ajar, I immediately felt unsafe and uncomfortable. I called the front desk and they had no remorse over the scenario except for asking me if I wanted them to call the neighbors to see if they came in my room. I had to pay $600 for that terrible, unsafe motor inn room. The audacity of the customer service was lire low budget than a Motel 6.

Unfortunately this place looks and feels like a $100 motel, not a $600 “lodge”. Service was shockingly bad, with the check in staff particularly rude upon arrival. Would recommend looking at other options, and not fall victim to the good marketing.

Very thin walls. Could basically hear every word our neighbors said. Seems weird to be paying that much for such a loud hotel... Otherwise felt safe and things were clean and tidy. The front desk seemed pretty stuck up and rude but we managed.

I got there around noon and asked if I could have an early check in, there had only been a few cars parked around there for the days before because I was staying at another hotel and driving over by the Virginian to the RV park to visit so I knew they weren’t busy. The staff was rude and told me no and my room wasn’t ready and check in was at 4 pm. I went back at 3:40pm and they said no check in is at 4 pm. I wouldn’t have stayed the night if I hadn’t already paid for it online. I stayed at the Rusty Parrott for big part of my stay and they let me check in 5hrs early because they weren’t that busy. I’ve never been at a hotel that doesn’t try to accommodate an early arrival if they aren’t busy. I would not suggest the Virginian for anyone that’s used to the nicer things. I only wanted to be by the RV park there for my last day because my kids were staying there for a couple of days.

Motel was a little dated and expensive. Price was reasonable for the area. Room was older but clean. Bed was comfortable. The courtyard area was beautiful and great for relaxing. Pool, yard game area, firepits with smores packages available. We ate at Billys Burgers. A little disappointed, food was expensive and not really good. Ate breakfast at the Virginian restaurant for breakfast. It was really good fod, great service and reasonable prices. Nice grass area for pets. Beautiful views and a nice place to stay.

Had a delightful stay. We all wished we had been staying more than one night. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bar and restaurant were really good. The best sweet potato fries we’ve ever had. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and informative. Loved that they offered s’mores in the evening and hot chocolate, coffee and tea all day in the lobby. Definitely would stay here again.

Loved the property! It was unique but also swanky. The fire pit and pool were lovely; s’mores in the evenings are such a nice touch! The restaurant and bars onsite are also lovely! You could stay onsite and not need a thing! However, it’s walkable to other restaurants and shopping. We loved it!
