Pleasant relaxing atmosphere. Attentive and helpful, keen to ensure guests happy, took an interest without intrusion. Professional and courteous. Excellent breakfasts, delicious yoghurt, coulis and granola starter in cocktail glass - nice presentation. Perfectly cooked poached eggs and generous amount avocado on thick slice of toast also nicely presented. Mattress comfortable and pillows soft. Clean linen and towels. Daily housekeeping. Bedside wall lamps didn't work, however single lamp placed by bed instead. Good value for money, would stay again.

This is a family-run hotel, and you can truly feel the love and dedication the family puts into it. They are incredibly welcoming, kind, and genuinely caring, making me feel at home from the moment I arrived. I will definitely stay here again—not because it’s a huge, luxurious five-star hotel, but because the family made my stay so special. Their warmth and hospitality are something you simply can’t put a price on. The only small downside was that the walls are quite thin, so you can sometimes hear the TV or other sounds from the neighbouring rooms. That said, I think this is fairly common in many older buildings in the UK, and it certainly wouldn’t stop me from staying here again. The warmth and hospitality of the family more than made up for it.
