Easy midnight check in. Just good for stay to sleep. No restaurant in hotel.

No real amenities or facilities to use. . .basic hotel to sleep, shower, and stay. No shuttle for the airport. Neighborhood is walkable but the hotel is not near a bus or train line so we had to use Grab (Uber) to get everywhere. Front Desk Staff: some were very friendly and helpful, others were not. Our room faced the alley, so no view and green mold on the exterior of the window. Lots of noise in the alley in the mornings due to deliveries and staff went outside to smoke throughout the day/night.

The room was perfect for our needs. The staff was wonderful. Please be aware that parking is non-existent at this hotel.

Solo trip, spent a night after my late night flight. Firstly, the value for money was commendable. Situated in a peaceful area, it provides a welcome respite from busier locales. However, do note the hotel faces a narrow, one-directional street. This occasionally causes minor access issues, especially when cars are parked along the side. My late-night check-in at 3 am was seamless, thanks to a professional receptionist who was on duty. The room itself was sufficient and notably clean, ideal for resting. A small drawback was the slightly off-putting odor from the pillow cover, something the hotel might want to address. For food, you'll appreciate the nearby hawker centre, a short walk away, serving local delicacies. Overall, a decent choice for a short stay, especially if you're budget-conscious.

Hotels in Singapore are known to be expensive. This one was certainly no exception! Especially considering it is not a hotel that offers breakfast, I got a room with no windows, the room was small with limited space for luggage etc. All that being said, the friendliness of the staff is second to none. The smiles you receive from Carole, Wynne and Wee will light up your day.

Room is small. No wardobe closet. Showerbpartition not appropriate to contain shower spary resulting in wet bathroom floor. No drive through for checkin checkout. Transport has to wait on a busy street for pickup/dropoff.

The pool was at another hotel around the block. There was no changing room there and the ladies room was not operational

Good enough, there was mold in the shower.

Had a great stay at this hotel. It’s newly renovated and clean. Hotel staff were amazing and friendly with free apples on the front desk! Location is also great. It’s further out from the main attractions but can easily be reached by buses or grab. The shower is also one of the best showers we’ve had. Staying in south east Asia normally means low pressure but no need to worry about that here. Great value and would stay again

I was a bit bothered by the staff member at the front desk who wasn't very attentive and seemed to ignore me for a minute before acknowledging me and helping me check in. The hotel was also close to restaurants, a community centre, and convenience stores. It's a bit far from Downtown Singapore (about 30 minutes from the hotel to Raffles or thereabouts), but if that's not a problem, then the hotel is a good value hotel. I would consider staying at this property again in the future.

Clean room and shower for the cost. The room was a little small. This is just a comment: I think if they downsized the bed, it would make for a more spacious and comfortable room. Overall, great stay and comfortable hotel. I would return.

Did not have hot water

Hotel control of thermostat. Ended up sweating my entire time in room. Very very small room. Many hotels with small rooms seem to cover every surface with items leaving very little for customer to use.

room is good on this price but wifi is sooo bad. it almost unusable!

Nice clean room, althought small so ok for 1-2 nights. You could hear noices from hallway to room. Pillows was too big for kids. You could not move shower up or down, so tall people have to bend from knees. And water spilled to bathroom floor when showering. Friendly staff, check-in was quick. Good small local shops near, as Kinex shopping mall. .

The staff was very nice and helpful. The housekeeper did an excellent job of keeping the room clean. Be aware that the rooms are very small by Western standards but are also very affordable by Singapore standards! I would like to suggest that the hotel consider some small changes to the rooms that would make them easier to use. Storage of luggage and clothes is a challenge. I suggest a shelf be added above the bed on the wall for small items. I also suggest that a small corner table to be added next to the bed in the corner. The last suggestion is that the metal frame for hanging clothes have a shelf added to it for storing clothes or small suitcases. I put my carryon bag up there on the frame when it was empty.

Hotel Classic by Venue is a good choice if you are OK with a small room. The rooms are clean, and the staff is, without exception, friendly and willing to give advice on good places to eat and do other things in the area. The water pressure in our room was good. Hot water never ran out. They give the customary small bottles of soap, etc. We are a family of three and I just purchased a bottle of body wash and shampoo. The refrigerator was not very cold, and our milk spoiled after three days. It is OK for keeping water and soft drinks chilled to a small degree. There is a Fair Price Supermarket 100 meters away that sells perishable (not recommended for this room) and non-perishable food you can take back and keep as a snack. This is where I got the body wash and shampoo mentioned above. There are also 24-hour food options available in the area. The restaurant about three doors down on the right as your walk out has good fried chicken and fish dishes at a reasonable price. It closes at 7 p.m. We were in room 301, which was next to an emergency stairwell to the side of the building. We did not have noise issues. Some have written they did have noise issues, and I imagine it could be possible. The hotel is very safe and the neighborhood, despite some adult night life, is safe to walk after dark. The hotel does not tolerate loud partying, etc. Sometimes at night, you may hear someone's porno as you walk through the hall. Overall, it is family friendly.

The room felt like a coffin. It had no windows, was very small and claustrophobic. To repeat, the room we.were given had no windows which is ridiculous as its not that cheap a hotel. Service from the staff was good, but we had a second booking with the hotel which we have now cancelled. Would not recommend.

Good location. Convenience stores within walking distance. Modern bathroom. Walls are relatively sound proof. Still some noise at night but a lot better than other venue hotels I have stayed at. WiFi was good and tv options with YouTube is great.

I had a superior double room and it was really comfortable for one person (bed was against wall on one side and not a lot of room for luggage for 2). Room had a window (with external shutters), air-conditioning, lovely bathroom, comfortable bed, clothes hanging space (limited), fridge and kettle with tea/coffee/sugar/creamer. Wee, on reception was brilliant. I've been to Singapore on multiple occasions and he gave me some great hints on places to visit that I'd never been to before (and without asking where I had been!). The hotel is also very close to two metro stations and numerous bus routes as well as heaps of cafes/restaurants. I would certainly stay in this hotel again as it is excellent value (for a couple I would suggest the premium double, which is still good value compared to hotels in town).

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and spotless. They also allowed us for early check-in and allowed us to store our suitcases in the lobby after check-out and they took care of it for a couple of hours. We would stay again without a doubt.

We were able to check in early after a 17 hour flight! They offered and they were just amazing giving us water and fruit on arrival. So very polite and professional. Great value and conveniently located!

We lost WiFi and TV during the last day of our stay. But the staff were very attentive and helpful. Good spot to be at and the local transportation and shopping are close by. I recommend this place for staying.

The front desk is so great. The manager has provided all the information about the surroundings, attractions, transportation and restaurants. We almost followed his recommendations and we had a good time and covered the best of what Singapore to offer! Kudos to the reception!

We had a pleasant experience at Hotel Classic by Venue. The hotel is clean and well maintained (the unit looks newly renovated), with firm beds and excellent air conditioning (three settings and super cold!). It’s located along a lively street filled with restaurants and historic buildings, which lead to a mall just a short walk away (the mall has bunch of places to eat too). The area is very walkable, and it’s only about 10 minutes (<1 km) to Paya Lebar MRT station, super convenient for getting around the city, including places like City Hall (Marina Square). During our stay, we took the MRT to Coldwell food court for a great local meal, then hopped on a Grab to Universal Studios, an easier and more affordable option. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel was quiet throughout our stay. The only downside was the bathroom, the exhaust fan didn’t seem to work, and the bathtub has a shower but no enclosure, so water tends to splash all over the floor, unless you duck and shower carefully to avoid making a mess. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a comfortable stay within budget in a great location. We used Apple maps throughout the trip.

The hotel is on Jalan Joo Chiat which is one of the most convenient places to live on the east side of Singapore. Even though it’s on the end in the red light area. We wanted a place near Changi, food, MRT, market and clean hotel at a reasonable price. The closest MRT are Paya Lebar and Eunos. Buses are also very convenient. Hotel room is on the small side hence the lower price. Highly recommend!

This hotel is conveniently located minutes away from the metro station and near a nice range of department stores and shopping as well as a very good food court. The room itself was small, but adequate and the bathroom was very clean. The staff was helpful and professional and gave useful advice on local shopping and dining options.

Lots of food court. This is in muslim district, very feiend, very easy get around by foot .

Camera piccola e silenziosa. Senza finestra, ma siamo andati solo a dormire. Vicino ai mezzi pubblici e circondata da tantissimi negozive posti in cui mangiare. Quartiere vivace e sicuro. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. A 20 minuti da aeroporto e a 20 minuti dal centro città. Molto pulito.
