Fully equipped unit, had an accessible room with shower stool, rails beside high toilet and doors wide enough for wheelchair, use of laundry and lovely, accomodating staff where nothing was a problem. Appreciated their personable service with my mum who is in a wheelchair. Cleaning staff were helpful and accommodating also. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

We were needed a place to stay coming from winery country to Fox Glacier and staying at Alpine Rose was a wonderful experience. We were greeted by Roger who is absolutely delightful. He was very friendly and gave us great suggestions for dinner. The room was adorable with 2 very comfortable beds and mini kitchenette with everything you need to eat/cook with. The bathroom also came with everything you could possibly need including shampoo/soap and even make up remover. The bathroom was large and very accessible with grab bars if you need them. It would be great for a longer stay. We would book this spot in a heartbeat if we came back to Greymouth!

Checkin was easy and the gal at the desk was very friendly and helpful. The room itself was spacious and had a kitchenette. The room was spotless and the kitchen area had everything we needed, including salt and pepper! We could park right in front of our door, so unloading was easy. The water pressure in the shower was lacking, and the head was low so showering was a bit difficult. We would definitely stay here again.

Alpine Rose was immaculately clean (bathroom, kitchen, towels and crockery) and furnishings seemed new (carpets and vinyl). Lovely welcome by Carole and complimentary milk. Across the road from bakery, petrol station and New World - great location. Highly recommended.

We got a very large room, the last they had. We stayed here to break up the trip to Franz Joseph glacier. There is nothing to do in this town except the very good brew pub. The owners of the Alpine Rose are very sweet, but I would not come back to this town.

Carol greeted us upon arrival and was very friendly and welcoming! The unit was well equipped and clean and the bed was comfy. Carol even gave us a bottle of milk for our tea and coffee. The motel is right on the main road and offers easy access to wherever you're heading. Would definitely recommend.

Staff what can you say helpful friendly and go out of their way to help. Location is good across the road is a supermarket and everything is within walking distance. Rooms have everything you need for a stopover. We caught a taxi to Monteith’s for their 4 tour but walked back it about a 15 minute flat walk.
