Rambuttri Village Plaza

The Inn - The 3rd time staying here & still happy with the place. Clean room. Cold aircon. Spacious bathroom. Good water pressure. The best, they have smoking room. This alone scores major points from me. The hotel swimming pool is totally lovable. Its a "real" big pool meant for swimming & not just a dipping pool. (The pool closes at 8pm though, if only they could operate later.) If I have to nitpick, i wished they have removable clothes hangers in the room & also, only Block A has a lift, so something to keep in mind if carrying luggage. The location - Perfect. Right in heart of everything within the Khaosan area. Short walk to the Peir, 7-11 & ATM. Food is aplenty from restaurants to street eats. Souvenir stalls & massage palours all around. Laundry services & coin operated washer within walking distance. Agencies & drivers offering day trips are all over the area. Rambuttri is quiet & peaceful while Khaosan wild party scene is just a few mins walk across the street. For a basic, comfortable quiet room at an affordable rate within the area, Rambuttri Village hits all the right spot.

Room was clean and staff very helpful, only issue was no lift present. Apart from that is centrally located and within walking distance from everything

Hotellet ligger perfekt i hyggelige omgivelser med gode spisesteder rundt om hjørnet. Morgenmaden er fantastisk. Værelset er ikke noget specielt og sengen/hovedpude hård som sted. Dejlig pool på tagterrassen.

Kleines AC Zimmer mit noch kleinerer Dusche. Kühlschrank, safe, laute AC und ein defekter TV sind vorhanden. Etwas Schimmel an den Wänden. Auf 2 Dächern gibt es je einen Swimmingpool. Es ist max. als ein 2 Sterne Hotel zu betrachten, bei dem Preis aber mehr als angemessen. In der Gegend gibt es alles, was das Travellerherz so braucht.

This is our Bangkok go to hotel. It has a great breakfast buffet from eggs and meats to soups, salads, and French toast and more. Pools were nice but no cushions for the wood lounge chairs. Great location, close to Koh SAN Road but very quiet. Even a post office a couple blocks away. Nice quiet park by the river to relax and watch the boats go by. Everything you need is close. Staff helped me with Ubers etc. very nice, smiling, happy to help staff

Room smells smoke. clean room beside the bed sheet that hade smal stains. cleaner did not come by. Not even a knock on door to se if I need something during the stay. Beds are super hard. AC unit sounds like a airplane engine. And you could turn it down but that didn’t help, room becomes the second North Pole. Stayed before so some rooms are much better. Staff friendly and breakfast super good. Pool was clean. It’s in a quit area, except when it’s time for prayers at 5am

Dirty rooms and horrible area. Rooms didn’t look like the pictures - it seems half the hotel has been renovated, but not ours. Air con didn’t work, there was a gecko in the bathroom and the guests made a ridiculous amount of noise. We know that when staying in this area that some noise is to be expected, but guests were running up and down the halls, screaming and slamming doors at 3am. Only redeeming quality about the hotel was that the staff were friendly. Didn’t they the breakfast as the room put us off

I stayed for 2 weeks. The place is 2 minutes away from khaosan road and near all the main places of interest. ( Took me 15 minutes walk to the grand palace).Yet you will be far away from the noisy street. The hotel is clean. ( If U need extra toilet paper, fresh towels you can get it at the reception). If you do not care about too much comfort or if you do not stay much in the room this hotel is ok; but if you are looking modern, cosy, quiet and peaceful place you should look elsewhere because the hotel itself is very old. ( Insonorisation is not great can hear all the noises from others rooms, corridor, the air conditioning, the fridge...).on the other end the air conditioning works very well. Staff were cordial. I asked if I could have another rom after few days because the bathroom was smelling of mold; the staff were very accommodating and I was happier with the second room.

The pictures definitely oversell what you’re getting. The rooms were very basic and outdated but they were clean. The hotel is very well located with respect to the Khao San area which is ultimately why I was satisfied.

The room was small with an outlook onto a brick wall. Facilities inside the room were ok, shower good, but no fridge or kettle.

The room was absolutely fine and a lovely pool, however the noise was just too much. Very thin walls internally as well so could hear absolutely everything inside as well as outside. Completely understand that external noise is obvious in the location however just could not sleep. Staff were lovely.

Love the location - the bathroom with the same shower and toilet floor wasn’t nice.

Photos provided on the hotels listing are generous to say the least. Room very very basic. Nowhere to put clothes. Not very comfortable but good location with no shortage of bars and restaurants to visit right on your doorstep. There was air con, however it was an on/off situation and couldn’t set an ideal temperature which meant waking up throughout the night to turn it on and off manually as it became too hot and too cold (a real Goldilocks scenario). Bathroom clearly very old, lots of little mites crawling around the floor. Shower was not great. Walls very thin meaning sleep is disturbed and there are open vents in the bathroom which mean you can hear people in corridors and coming/going throughout the night and in other bathrooms adjacent to yours. Breakfast was good! Great selection of foods and drinks. Pool was fine (looks much nicer in the photos but there are some fun views from the rooftop and a little bit of shade on one side). Lots of loungers and was often quite busy. Overall would not recommend or stay again. From an accessibility viewpoint, taxis cannot take you to the front of hotel and have to drop you at main road which you then walk about 4/5 mins along cobbled street to get to hotel entrance. Cobbles may not be suitable for wheelchair users, walking sticks/crutches or those with accessibility needs or lots of bags. There is a lift inside the hotel but also lots of little hidden steps here and there.

Lot of noise from AC’s, other rooms and the stairway. Bed hard as wood.

Staff were great, this area (hotel) is 50m from Koh San rd is very quiet and has its own restaurant options. Hotel was easy to find, clean with a rooftop pool. Breakfast buffet was large with many food types, Delicious!! Will stay again when in Bangkok

Great hotel, lovely staff, good room, great pool, fab location.

Everything is very convenient, there are a lot store and restaurant around the area. People here are very friendly, informative and welling to help you. There's a language keeping area just in if you a later flight on your check out date.

The staff was exceptional. The hotel was in a great part of town near the Royal Palace. The little Street and the square that the hotel sat on was removed from the bustle of Bangkok. The little restaurants nearby were wonderful and the vibe of the young hip crowd was invigorating. Hotel was in an exceptional value room was great

Staff at reception were quite pretty hostile. 500 baht deposit for key and when checking out no friendliness just where’s your deposit receipt and then hand back the money. Prices are not youth hostel prices but staff treated everyone like they were paying cheap prices.

Staff very Welcoming and Friendly room spotless and A Great Restaurant.. could not fault it and paying through Expedia room ready when we Arrived at 10-30 am and didn't need to wait till 2pm

The front desk staff were terrible and rude. The skinny guy who checked us in at night on June 28th, was the rudest ever. It took us 20 minutes to find our room. They were not welcoming or hospitable at all. The cleaning ladies were very nice and good at their jobs but they were slamming doors all day and it was very, very noisy. The beds were awful. I like a firm mattress, but these beds were like sleeping on boards. The TV sucked...all the channels were in Thai and showed nothing but news and infomercials. My mom was injured at the airport and they made us climb stairs so it was tough on her. Why are there no elevators for the entire hotel? The buffet breakfast was alright but the food quality wasn't that good and it was very bland. I thought Thailand understood spices, but I guess they don't. The wifi was terrible, they might as well not have it. I was very disappointed with this place and their rude staff. I'll look for something else the next time I visit.

The room was fine, the shower actually had sufficient hot water, and the breakfast that came with the room was excellent. It is a block away, but not on, Khao San Road. The area in front of the hotel is both charming and quiet at night, with music and late night bars just a block away.

Unreal location, far enough away from Khao San don’t get any noise. A/C worked well. Tons of restaurants and places to explore in walking distance. 10/10 would recommend for price and location.

Very fast check in with friendly service. Rooms clean and woth everything needed including bottles of water each day. Buffet breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice, traditional thai, english, fruit and pastries. Location is perfect, literally 2 minutes from Ko san road in a quite street with good restaurants

Location was fairly close to the tourist boats and there was plenty of dining options and coffee shops. Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly. Love that there was a rooftop pool. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Overall great location, property well maintained. Breakfast buffet was nice. Close to the pier for the hop on hop off water boat, which was great for getting to all the major attractions near the river, and Khao San road, and Rajadamnern stadium. I’d stay here again. Great vibe in the area!

Location was really good! A quiet place (but not quiet since the AC sounded like idk…) it did not work that well either… Had an okey pool. Good breakfast (but they did not refill it that well, even if it was 30min left)…

Le petit déjeuner est excellent, cependant la chambre est vraiment petite. Il n'y a pas d'ascenseur. Une caution est demandée en espèce à l'arrivée.

Frukosten var väldigt bra. Kriskpiga grönsaker, egg och bacon, thainudelrätter, och väldigt mycket mer!
