All processes involving the reception desk could do with some improved signage on property. It is hard without prior understanding to understand the various offerings including the Grand Star, the boutique hotel, the Dorsett, and the 2 separate towers of Star Residences. Front desk is running the operations from a location very remote from the towers themselves... Very counter intuitive.

Listed sauna and steam in the stay but that was not in the accommodation fee. Have to pay extra to use. It is a bit misleading

Great location for public transport . Apartment was lovely but the bed was not as I would have expected. Furniture was nice for decor but not practical for some people eg elderly.

It is a massive property the Star in the Gold Coast but situated in Broadbeach it’s where you want to be. The Residences are a great option over a hotel room both for the space and amenities in room as well as the location, adjacent to, but not in the casino proper. Apartments have what you want, kitchen, laundry plenty of room. If you book the right ones ocean view, balcony and theatre room. Walk to all the restaurants and the residences have 2 pools as well as gym and steam room - we were totally impressed with the quality and value
