Stayed for two nights . The hotel is in a good location with free parking. Breakfast was included with our stay, there was plenty of choice and the staff attentive. We visit family nearby and have stayed at the Broadway before.

Used the hotel on a Sunday stopover travelling from Heathrow airport. Although it is somewhat dated, the room was clean and spacious, TV coffee ,tea etc. available in the room.The bathroom was large and clean. Water nice and hot. Sunday Carvery was excellent, variety of veg & 4 meats to choose from all was hot and GF gravy provided for me. The breakfast was cooked freshly. With usual fruit juice, cereals, yoghurt, toast and croissants available. Plenty of dedicated parking space to the side of the hotel. Although an older style hotel, it compared favourably with my usual stopover at a premier inn (bed was just as comfortable!). The pricing was lower than the large chain hotels through hotel.com. Definitely happy to stay at this hotel in a future stopover.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, there is a car park however the train station is only a 5 minute walk away for those who do not drive. It’s in a good location with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby, however it does have its own bar and restaurant and the food is nice. We didn’t have time for breakfast so I cannot really comment on it however I would have thought it would be nice. There weren’t any net curtains or blinds in the room only heavy curtains, therefore in the morning for privacy we were unable to open the curtains to let daylight in until we were fully clothed. I would suggest they invest in net curtains or blinds for people’s privacy. The bath also had a chip in it, l wouldn’t expect them to install a new bath however maybe they would get something to fill it. The room had all the necessities apart from an iron and ironing board, however when I asked at reception they provided one straight away. The person who checked us in wasn’t overly friendly but they were professional and accommodating when we asked for an extra room. Overall we had a good stay and would stay again and would make sure we had enough time to have breakfast!

Broadway Hotel is very handy to Letchworth town centre. Although old everything works well including the classic lift!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We did have trouble with the shower running cold then very very hot. Otherwise an enjoyable stay.

A nice hotel, well appointed in the public areas. Staff are friendly and helpful especially Boti the chef. The room was small however there was a separate study/dressing room area. There is a somewhat terrifying lift to the upper floors. A good substantial breakfast was included. It is situated in the town centre very close to the railway station.

An old hostelry. Room was clean. A few minor things that need sorting such as the chain on the door and one tap. Quiet and central. The lift ill take your cases but I would avoid otherwise.

The evening meal was excellent. Breakfast ok, would have preferred back bacon and warm plates. Poor selection of fruit. Room was too hot even with fan. Needs updating. The shower is built for midgets and far too small. Dirty and dusty behind bedside tables. Toilet brush was dirty.

Managed to book a room last minute on a Sunday and was not disappointed. Bed was very nice and the room was spotless. Nice coffee machine in the room also. Breakfast was cooked fresh (not in a self serve or buffet arrangement) and very nice. Staff were fun, engaged and efficient.

Had to walk through a restaurant full of diiners to reception and back again to access the accommodation. Got to our room to find it had not been servied and dirty linen was on the floor. Back through the dinner's and was upgraded to a family room. No outlet for the kettle, had to move and unplugthe tv. Bed was uncomfortable, pillows were hard and the room above the restaurant was very noisy.

Nice place. Very friendly staff. I think some rooms must be better than others as ours was not as nice as the ones in the photos. There did not seem to be an option to select the nicer rooms so it may be the luck of the draw.

Rooms are very dated. Beds and furniture could do with bringing at least into the 90s. Bar area excellent and modern. Rooms nothing better than hostel vibes. 2 irons to service 40 plus rooms.

Restaurant was closed on night of arrival. Fair enough as it was Boxing Day but we weren’t told in advance. We were recommended somewhere that was thankfully open. Also offered the option to sit in the restaurant with a takeaway. Family room was clean enough and bed was comfy but blinds were broken on both windows. Location was noisy as both lift and stairs were adjoining. No late night noise though. Plenty of free onsite parking. Breakfast was good and included in room rate.

Everything about the day was excellent except for the noise. The hotel is on the road so there is car noise but it’s more about loudness of people walking by after they’ve been out on the town and walking home at all hours. The rooms are not double glazed class. Also unfortunately during our stay the alarm went off very early Saturday morning. Nobody from the hotel directed us or gave us any indication as to what was going on. This meant that they were people wondering about on the landing shouting and confused. It obviously turned out to be nothing but at no point did anybody from the hotel contact us to explain or apologise for the inconvenience. The staff in the hotel, are all very nice and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is also good.

Delightful independent place to stay very close to the centre of town. Warmly welcomed on arrival, nice room. Selection of local ales at the bar, and a full dinner menu. Price was very fair especially with breakfast included.

Overall we had a good stay and would stay again and would make sure we had enough time to have breakfast!
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, there is a car park however the train station is only a 5 minute walk away for those who do not drive. It’s in a good location with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby, however it does have its own bar and restaurant and the food is nice. We didn’t have time for breakfast so I cannot really comment on it however I would have thought it would be nice. There weren’t any net curtains or blinds in the room only heavy curtains, therefore in the morning for privacy we were unable to open the curtains to let daylight in until we were fully clothed. I would suggest they invest in net curtains or blinds for people’s privacy. The bath also had a chip in it, l wouldn’t expect them to install a new bath however maybe they would get something to fill it. The room had all the necessities apart from an iron and ironing board, however when I asked at reception they provided one straight away. The person who checked us in wasn’t overly friendly but they were professional and accommodating when we asked for an extra room. Overall we had a good stay and would stay again and would make sure we had enough time to have breakfast!

I stayed with my daughter for a weekend to see extended family. The staff were exceptionally and so welcoming, which made the weekend much more relaxing. I can’t express enough how friendly everyone was. Brilliant location, definitely would stay again.

Good check in, good location for train station, room temperature to hot (could not control radiator) l had to leave window open. Breakfast service slow but good staff and excellent food quality. Just need to make coffee and juice self service to speed things along.

A nice hotel, well appointed in the public areas. Staff are friendly and helpful especially Boti the chef. The room was small however there was a separate study/dressing room area. There is a somewhat terrifying lift to the upper floors. A good substantial breakfast was included. It is situated in the town centre very close to the railway station.

A lovely place, well located, great parking facility, good service and enjoyable food. The room had a comfy bed and loved the sash windows, but you certainly felt the cold and the wind on a night... Somewhere I would certainly use again.

Used the hotel on a Sunday stopover travelling from Heathrow airport. Although it is somewhat dated, the room was clean and spacious, TV coffee ,tea etc. available in the room.The bathroom was large and clean. Water nice and hot. Sunday Carvery was excellent, variety of veg & 4 meats to choose from all was hot and GF gravy provided for me. The breakfast was cooked freshly. With usual fruit juice, cereals, yoghurt, toast and croissants available. Plenty of dedicated parking space to the side of the hotel. Although an older style hotel, it compared favourably with my usual stopover at a premier inn (bed was just as comfortable!). The pricing was lower than the large chain hotels through hotel.com. Definitely happy to stay at this hotel in a future stopover.

Delightful independent place to stay very close to the centre of town. Warmly welcomed on arrival, nice room. Selection of local ales at the bar, and a full dinner menu. Price was very fair especially with breakfast included.

The evening meal was excellent. Breakfast ok, would have preferred back bacon and warm plates. Poor selection of fruit. Room was too hot even with fan. Needs updating. The shower is built for midgets and far too small. Dirty and dusty behind bedside tables. Toilet brush was dirty.

I was here for 1 night for business. The bed was probably the best I've ever slept in! I ate in the restaurant in the evening which was lovely and had the ribs as the offer of the day. The breakfast the next morning was delicious.

Restaurant was closed on night of arrival. Fair enough as it was Boxing Day but we weren’t told in advance. We were recommended somewhere that was thankfully open. Also offered the option to sit in the restaurant with a takeaway. Family room was clean enough and bed was comfy but blinds were broken on both windows. Location was noisy as both lift and stairs were adjoining. No late night noise though. Plenty of free onsite parking. Breakfast was good and included in room rate.

Our Double Room was clean couldn’t really fault. But could have done with an update as regards to paint work was chipped. Shower head needed replacing. Had a few chips in the bath. As for the extractor fan, it didn’t work at all, and noticed it was all black and dirty. On the plus side breakfast was amazing value for money. Help yourself buffet, plenty of it all hot being replenished constantly. Staff very helpful and on hand if needed. Found parking no issue also.
