Lovely hotel, comfortable room, great staff, and loved the community refrigerator in basement. At least there was coffee in the vending machine and you provided hot water, but I would’ve liked on-site coffee with cream.

We had a great stay here, everyone was very kind and helpful and the property was clean and comfortable, as well as in a convenient location-just a few blocks to a subway station. We especially appreciated getting to store our luggage at the hotel after we checked out since we had a couple of hours to kill before we left town. Would stay here again for sure!

The superior room was nice. The bed was clean, the blackout curtains were helpful, the ceiling fan worked great, and the samsung tv allowed us to log into our own streaming apps. It had everything we needed. I would say that it would’ve been better if they had a freezer in the basement (along with the fridge, ice machine, microwave, hot water machine, and vending machine). The bathroom was remodeled but could’ve been cleaned better in the grout and corners of the shower. The shower had a rainfall head and a hose attachment. The water pressure and temperature was good. The staff were sweet. We requested to make our room and they gave us new sheets for the bed, tidied the bathroom, and gave us new towels and toilet paper. Overall, it was a great stay for the price and location in comparison to other hotels. There’s really no amenities but it’s not needed if you are exploring the city. It is located in Chinatown; it may not be the most glamorous but it is NYC and we still felt safe (obviously just be aware). All the best food places we wanted to try were usually a 10 min walk (at most 20). Multiple bus stops and 2 different subway stations within a 5-10 min walk. We usually walked to Target/Trader Joe’s within 12 min walk to get water and snacks.

A real hidden gem - this place is reasonably priced, very clean, and in easy walking distance of the subway and pretty much everything in lower Manhattan. The rooms are admittedly small, but unless you’re willing to pay $500+ a night, you aren’t going to do better. The staff were great, and always on hand if we needed help, and the rooms had amenities I haven’t seen in much more expensive hotels. Oh and the sound-proofing on the rooms was very good! I’d happily stay here again, without a doubt!
