Hotel was nice and clean wish there were more exits since I was parked on the north side of the hotel. I had to use the front door to go all the way to the right where my car was parked. Very close to a very good mexican restaurant within walking distance.

Any good hotel needs an exhaust fan in bathroom. To my surprise this hotel does not have one. It was quiet and 5 stars for the bedding. Staff super nice.

The lobby was dirty and smelly , the bathroom was clean , the bed comfortable, the seat on the toilet was very loose , the deadbolt on the door was very difficult to engage,the carpet was old and didn’t look very clean. The whole facility smelled bad. I only booked it because I have been very pleased with Holiday Inn Express in the past but this will make me re-think that philosophy.

The facility has really deteriorated since we last stayed here. One of the beds had blood on the sheets. There were no linens for the pull out sofa. No batteries in the remote. We found ourselves having to go downstairs numerous times to get things that should have been accessible. But the front desk employees were very kind. I have no complaints at all about them. They were helpful and apologetic. All in all, we will unfortunately not stay at this hotel again.

First room heater, a/c unit was broken, not heating but noisy and run continuously all the time. Chenged room. Bed mattress was too firm without memory foam. Room fridge was very noisy to the point that I had to unplug it. Whole floor corridor was under renovation and smell bad.

This is the least nice holiday inn express I've stayed in, ever. There was a small sign saying they are remodeling, but there were no other indications. We received zero help with wifi and could not get it to work. The phone in the room did not work so we had to go to the front desk in person for any questions. The breakfast was really good though. I won't stay here again.

Air condition fan did not work properly. It would run for 10 seconds, cut off and then restart a minute later all night long. Very loud and kept me up. Also- hotels should have Gideon bibles in every room. This one didn’t.

Walls are thin. Can hear everything that is going on in the rooms next to you. Not great at 3am. People above us had kids that were running and jumping off the beds until late at night. The hotel is very nice and clean. Staff was very attentive. Our experience was just not the best it could have been.

There was an issue with the water where we couldn't drink it. I wish the person who checked me in told me about it when I first checked in. I found out about it as I was bringing a second load of my things to the room and happened to ask where I can fill up my water bottle. Had I not asked, I would have filled it up in the room and potentially gotten sick. Water main broke in the city and the water got contaminated. City ordinances said not to drink the water.

Room was clean but very dated. The front door would barely close, had to slam it multiple times for it to catch. To make matters worse the security latch on the door would push away instead of catching and the extra door lock wasn’t aligned so it wouldn’t lock. Did not feel very safe and secure in the room. The beds were very uncomfortable, felt like sleeping on the floor. Great options for breakfast and Convenient off of the highway. Right across the street from a Walmart and two fast food restaurants in walking distance.

I did not give a score as we did not stay there. Per our previous rating, this was a hotel that was scheduled for our trip home from The cabin in Silver Gate, that had electricity issues. When we left Cooke City, we headed to Evanston, Wyoming. We needed to reschedule our dates. I had no problem with Greely, Colorado, but Holiday Inn stated we couldn't because the time had passed. It was 5:00 in Wyoming, 6:00 in Texas. Then they said only Expedia could change the date. I contacted Expedia, who came back a couple of days later and stated that they had messaged Holiday Inn several times and got no response. They stated it was up to Holiday Inn to change the date. Again, Holiday Inn stated it was Expedia, and if they Holiday Inn changed the dates, they would get in trouble with Expedia. As of today, 06/22/2026, there has been nor resolution. Holiday Inn charged me as a no show. So, will I ever use Expedia or Holiday Inn again? No!
