We found the staff so friendly and helpful. The facilities offered were generous, especially in the shared kitchen. If we hadn’t brought our own breakfast things, we would have been covered by what was offered in the kitchen. We’ll return here.

I love that the property has reverted back to the included breakfast and opened the breakfast room from 6am-9am again. Means you get to enjoy the lovely water views from the breakfast room while eating and without disturbing those in the room that like to sleep in.

Really loved most aspects. Only issue was the pool and bbq were out of service and the whole reason we booked was so the kids could use the pool. Would have appreciated being informed before our stay about this

The motel has a great retro feel, good views over water. The management has provided great extras to make the stay comfortable. The guest kitchen and lounge is a wonderful part of your stay.

Hubby & daughter could walk to stadium to watch soccer. Use of guest kitchen & lounge area to use while waiting for check in was nice.

Very well run and comfortable motel my only criticism is unlike most motels these days it doesn’t have access to the free streaming channels

The property’s appearance was run down. The shower had black grouting (mould) in it. The traffic noise both day and night stopped me from sleeping even when I bought earplugs. Very aged and any renovations were down very cheaply. Would definitely not recommend it at all.

The room had black mould in it, we ended up leaving in the middle of the night as I have a disabled son that has bad lungs as it is. Would highly not recommend this place

Lovely welcoming staff. Very clean and tidy. Nice complimentary snacks. After a long show it was so nice to get into the beautiful hot shower. Totally recommend this hotel.

Baby cockroaches crawled on us whilst we were about to get into bed and whilst we were sleeping. GROSS!!

Well maintained motel, no fuss, spotless and nicely presented.

No problems whatsoever with the room or staff. Road noise was loud, constant and distracting. Made sleeping difficult. Suggest look for somewhere a little quieter.

We were really impressed with this motel – incredible value for money! The room was very well-equipped and the electric mattress protectors were such a great touch for the cold nights. The guest kitchen was super handy, and the shower was awesome with two shower heads. The location was convenient and close to everything we needed. Everything was clean and well looked after, although a deeper clean of the room in general would make it even better. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and we also had a lovely view of the water from our room. The little muffins in the mini kitchen were also delicious! Would definitely come back here.

We booked this motel for John Martin Country Tournament, since my boy needs his own bed for rest, the Family Room with 3 beds are perfect choice for us! First the check-in was very quick and the staff were very friendly. My Family Lake View room is right next to the road, but since they tried to fix the leaking roof, they put a big yellow tarp cover the roof thus block the lake view a bit. Since the room is right next to the Central Coast Hwy, which is the busiest road in this area, it’s not quiet at night, we could hear the car passing by and the road noise from the room. Thus if I would recommend NOT choose Lake View family room if you need a good quiet sleep. The room is very clean, even though the carpet is a old but it has everything in the room, fridge, microwave, kettle, smart TV, and plenty of complementary coffee/tea/water/cookie. Most importantly the bed sheet is clean and fresh. Also plenty of towels available. I give 5/5 for the room cleanness. The parking is easy and plenty of spots, since we drove a big SUV, we parked in a bigger spot opposite our room. Very convenient and easy access! Overall I give this motel Inn 8/10. If they could replace the carpet and fix the leaking roof/removing the carp, or simple upgrade me to a better room/cabin due to carp blocking the view, I would give it 10/10. Again, if you like quiet night sleep, I would recommend NOT choose Lake View family room, but choose rooms that are bit inside the model area instead.

The person who served me at reception was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable and suitable for my short stay. The only negative was that the curtains don't go all the way across, and therefore let in quite a bit of light. Other than that, it was good!

We requested an accessible room. The rude front desk man said we did not request it. I presented the hotels.com confirmation showing the accessible room request, but he would not look at it. He said their accessible room is $60 additional. And if I wanted it, I would have to cancel my reservation online, request a refund, create a new reservation online, and pay the higher rate.

I greatly appreciated being able to check-in early at 11.30 AM after contacting the office a couple of days before I arrived. I had a wedding in the afternoon at Green Point at 2PM and did not arrive back at the room till about 11PM that day. Although the place is a bit dated everything was clean and everything worked. I had a room towards back of the complex, so it was pretty quiet.

The room was flooded when we got there, water had leaked out into the bathroom and onto the carpet and it smelt. We were moved into a different room which we appreciated, however the worker seemed very aggravated about this which showed in how they treated us. This worker was very abrasive. They failed to tell me when the breakfast deadline was and when I asked to order they were very rude and condescending and said \'you know you need to pay for it you know\' which I already knew- it was written on the form I had filled out. They agreed to do breakfast and then seconds later changed their mind and began berating me saying "I\'m so busy you know...there\'s a reason there\'s a deadline and I told you." All four people I stayed with did not recall him telling us about this deadline. When I said "all good sorry" and began to walk out he continued to berate me even after I closed the door. I am extremely disappointed as I was polite when I asked for breakfast, this worker could have simply said "sorry, it\'s too late" but instead they berated me like a school child. It was also frustrating that this worker who was "very busy" was sitting on the countertop looking into space when I came in to order. A friend ordered breakfast in a different room received it at 8pm the night before, ordered grain toast and received white toast. When they checked the food was meant for breakfast, the worker berated them and said in a mocking tone "no, you need to toast it yourself." Very disappointed.

The staff were wonderful - accommodating a last minute change of date and even warming the room up before our arrival!

Comfortable room with everything I needed. Easy access by car and walking distance to dining. Car travelling noise as near the main road.

Room was not fancy, but everything in good shape. Decent amount of space. Maid service a bit inconsistent, depending on who was doing it. Location easy to spot from highway, but that resulted in it being a little tricky driving in and out.

Loved that there was a guest shared kitchen. We had our grandkids with us and it was raining. The kitchen was roomy with a tv & we could cook our own dinner. In walking distance to the train station. Very clean, friendly helpful staff. Highly recommended!!

We found the hotel great for a one night stay. We had a Family room for 4 and it was spacious and well equipped. The shower was lovely and the beds were comfy, with the electric blankets welcome. The heating worked well and the room had everything we needed and we could walk to a supermarket and other places.

Great view over the water and loved the share kitchen, so clean and well kept.
