Small room but comfortable room. Great staff, friendly and helpful. I requested a room on top floor at the end with nice outlook from window and the lovely staff at the hotel gave me exactly that. 🤗👍 Nice view of trees and creek from window. I went for a short walk through the little trail behind hotel which was nice. The bed was very comfortable and desk area was very handy. Unfortunately the wifi was not working in my room during the 2 night stay, however this was not a big disruption to my stay. Being on the top floor it would have been better if the hotel had an elevator which is does not. I would of liked a do not disturb sign for my door. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and definitely will stay at Ibis Budget Gosford again in the future 👍

Located just as you come into Gosford, Ibis is situated just off the highway and behind a McDonald's. Despite the location it is actually quiet inside with no traffic noise. Car parking at front. Very basic but clean and fine for the price. No shampoo/conditioner. Quick walk to RSL and Dan Murphys. Easy basic accomm if all you want is a bed and shower.

My room was at the back of the property, so was quiet & I was woken by birdsong in the morning. Excellent shower. Plenty of parking. Maccas was next door, Gosford RSL was a short walk down the street Room was tired but clean. Comfortable bed. Would stay again.

Blood stained mattress protector on bed , Pubic hair on the toilet. Snot on the bathroom wall along with a child’s handprint with blood on it. 1 staff member checking in guests that were lining up and outside the entrance door.

The hotel room was full of mosquitos and sewer flies. Old cobwebs all over the cornices. The mirror was dirty and broken. The room hears everything around it.You can hear sirens and McDonald's drive through. Otherwise the staff was lovely.

After check in we went up to our room, the room was messy and did not look like it had been cleaned after the last use. The bed was very haphazardly made, arguably not cleaned after the last persons stay. There was hair on the bed, a clubbing/festival wristband left in the bathroom. Someones left over water in the fridge, condiments for tea and coffee not topped up and the holder had bugs in it. Saw reception to discuss our issues, hotel was fully booked and no other rooms avaliable, my partner and I could not find any other accomodation on a Saturday night in Gosford, so had to drive the 3.5 hours home to Canberra, which had us arriving home at 11.45pm (a total travel day of 14 hours). Considering we did not stay in the room and it was disgusting, I want a full refund.

The twin room me n my son had was definitely to small, with 2 single beds was good BUT there was no room to move I had to push the bed over to the wall so we couldv walk between the beds, my son found a few pills on the floor just under the bed, lucky he was old enough to not put them in his mouth, the coffee mugs were dirty, the carpets were not cleaned, n the bathroom was clean etc but the shower had no like base etc to catch the water so water went all over the floor n out under the door onto the carpet

Service was ok, we had a clean room. The small bed was terrible only a thin foam mattress and was not comfortable at all. The room (queen bed and bunk, for 4 people) was the size of a prison cell. You could not move in it with 3 adults you can shower on the toilet and the blind would not stay down on the window.

Very bad sound proof. I can hear loudly people talking outside in the reception and constant loud heavy closing of doors from the corridor. The room was way smaller than I thought, with no space to place your luggage bag. There is just a small window sill. The toilet is very small that the door cannot be opened to the inward, but opens outward and hits the side bed. Inside, the shower is just a little corner space with a curtain next to the toilet and basin. The whole floor became all wet after a shower.

Stayed in December 2024 , room was very small the seal around the window was broken so didn’t shut properly i didn’t notice until 3am when it got very noisy out the back with trucks. Dirty blu tack covering peep hole . The fan in the bathroom was very dirty almost unbelievable. Will not be back. Very average and they need to walk through and check the rooms before letting people pay to stay in them.

We've stayed here numerous times before and not had any issues, however this trip will be our last. The rooms are in serious need or repair. The room we were assigned had a bed with a leg post missing which meant you rolled out of bed! Upon further inspection, the bed corner was broken and in need of repair. Surely this was something known before we got there and proving a lack of communication. The receptionist was very kind and understanding about it all and kindly swapped our rooms. However the new room looked so rundown, the window was filthy and broken as it barely opened and it didn't seal properly at all meaning a draft, smells xxand noise filtered through all night. The bathroom was full of yellow grout, the toilet seat was loose and dirty and using the shower flooded the entire bathroom floor meaning anything on the floor got soaked! Then on checkout day, we paid an extra $20 for later checkout only to be disturbed by housekeeping who let herself in at 10.15am and argued with us that we shouldn't have been there! Overall it was a terrible experience!

The Hotel is exactly that Budget and is clean and is close to Dining and other facilities. I find the space to work at in the room very tiny and claustrophobic to be in. Budget inexpensive room for one night stay it was good.

I booked accommodation for a number of guys working, power went off in one of the rooms, I had to move one guy into another hotel for the second night. Couldn't get any response from the Ibis re refund or reason for the power outage

Heidi was an exceptional manager of the hotel. We had a very late checkin and she was there to help without any drama at all even though the late checkin machine to collect our key didn’t give us our key. The room was clean but it was filled with bugs flying around. The bed and bathroom were very clean though. The bathroom door was faulty, and I got stuck in the bathroom. Luckily my wife was able to open it from the outside. Heidi was the star of the show, Ibis needs to give her a pay increase.

Lovely to be welcomed by a warm smile after a big day on the road. Compact room but clean and functional. Very comfy bed. Quiet despite being on a main road. We brought our own brekkie however the dining room was well set up with plenty of options at a bargain price. Nice atmosphere; we’d stay here again.
