Quality Inn Rockdale

Generally, the hotel experience was sufficient. There were a lot of out of order amenities, such as broken front doors, broken ice machine, broken public restrooms, etc. Lot of maintenance and upkeep is needed. That being said the hotel took care of our needs for one night and the employees were nice. It would be appreciated if the breakfast could be improved, but it was a basic continental breakfast.

The hotel was okay. The property maintenance was less than average. We booked two king rooms. Both rooms had toilet issues. I volunteered to repair both bathrooms. The management had the parts necessary for repair, but apparently no one to perform maintenance. Recommend a concentration on room maintenance and property landscape.

THE DIRECT TV SYSTEM DID NOT WORK; THE ICE MACHINES WERE BROKEN; THERE IS NO LONGER A BREAKFAST BUFFET; THE TOILET DOES NOT PROVIDE A FULL AND COMPLETE FLUSH; CARPET NEEDS A DEEP CLEANING OR REPLACEMENT. THE MOTEL STAFF ARE OUTSTANDING. OBVIOUSLY, THIS IS DERELICTION OF CHOICE BY UPPER MANAGEMENT

The room was clean and well maintained. The gym had a weight machine instead of just free weights which was important with a shoulder injury. The common areas were clean. The breakfast was a "continental" breakfast, but at least there was a Walmart right across the street to get something my wife could eat (she has a wheat allergy). All in all an enjoyable stay and will definitely stay there again when we visit family there.

Rooms were very nice. Downstairs lacked cellular connection. Front door opener was broken. Breakfast was sub par compared to all other quality inns I have stayed at.

Rooms smelled like old smoke covered up with incense which was very unpleasant. Carpet dirty with burn holes. Plumbing squealed when toilet flushed. Shower was good. Bed was very comfortable and bedding seemed clean. Keys didn’t work and front desk person was unpleasant about it. Check in person was very nice though. Garbage in the parking lot. Breakfast poor and very limited. No elevator and stairs were quite a hike with luggage.

The staff was awesome and the room was pretty clean. My TV didn’t work, there was no safety latch on the inside of the door, it was too noisy and the water did not get warm enough in the shower.

Staff was friendly and polite tried everything she could to help make my stay comfortable . Was not given no kind of discount because they didn’t have cable. I booked my stay on Thursday the 26th they said cable was out since Friday. Checked in Saturday no 48 hr advance notice to cancel.. I went to another hotel way much better and I had cell phone service. I didn’t like that I was not offered nothing. Past experiences even if I booked through an app I was given a free stay or a discount for my next stay… now that I have experience a better option I will book with them.

First of all, the card reader on the room door. The card got stuck in the reader. I changed rooms for queen size bed; the staff was great. The card reader on this room was about to come off.

We stayed 1 night and checked in late. Was convenient for us as we were going to Snows bbq next morning. Nice staff, quiet and clean rooms we would stay again!

It is extremely convenient having walmart right across the street. It is quiet and seems mostly used by workers. The place could use some my or repairs but nothing crazy. Very clean and non smoking 🚭

Very clean quiet room and easy friendly check in and out.

This is a nice play to stay for the night. The beds were clean and the shower was hot with lots of water. It is conveniently located on the main strip and there are several restaurants close. Wal-Mart is across the street.

We arrived very late but had no problems checking in, front desk staff very friendly and accommodating. Nice, clean, great price.

First room no av. Second room smoke and mold the third room was ok. The staff front desk was unfriendly she insisted to go to the third room to make sure it was ok. After requesting an early checkin she stated it would cost me $45 more for the room declined as I needed to only checkin one hour early for overall I wouldn’t stay there again

Overall property was clean and well kept.

Our room reeked of mold from the air conditioner… we had to turn it off and go buy fans.

Nice Place but the hot water took forever

Over all it was okay place to stay. The only thing I had an issue was WiFi. Could not make any in / out call on cell phones period Plus my laptop never could connect either

Room was clean and no smells! Staff was friendly and helpful. Only major complaint was the wifi was horrible, had to go sit in my trunk and connect to my hot spot to email files to clients.

The property in attached to an RV park that is operated by the hotel as well . Your top cell phone (ATT and Verizon) will not get service in then room so if you are there for buisness you can not get calls or text while your in your room. The WI-FI is very slow and takes about 45-60 to load. I was so unhappy I left and went down the street to Days INN.at this time I did not get a refund . This will be the last time I stay at a quality INN.

Beautiful quiet little town and wonderful people. Very comfortable spacious beds. Clean rooms. Small dining breakfast area but still large enough to accommodate the guest and food setting for a comfortable meal. Located across the street from the local Walmart and nearby restaurants.

Quick and easy, courteous check-ins

I made the initial reservation through a 3rd party reservation site and later discovered I needed an additional night. Upon check-in, I spoke to Mariana at the front desk and she made another reservation guaranteeing the same rooms so I wouldn't have to check out and then back in. She quoted me a room rate for the extra night and said we were all set. Prior to leaving for work on the day of my reservation I confirmed that we were booked the additional night and was left with the impression that we were. Just after check out time, the same clerk who I spoke with earlier that morning called wanting to know if we were checking out. I told her no because we were staying the additional night as discussed and reserved. She told me we did not have a reservation and the reservation could not be extended an additional night since it was made through a 3rd party. I explained the reservation was made through them but with same rooms so we would not have to pack up ans check out only to check back in that evening. She told me again that reservations through 3rd parties cannot be extended and Mariana could not have done that. I requested to speak to a manager and she told me the only management was head of housekeeping who could not help with reservations. I and my 2 co-workers had to leave work to go check out and find other rooms for the night elsewhere. This was our second stay within the last 6 weeks or so. We will not be returning in future.

Towels were very thin, 1 room was difficult to get it to unlock with the card key (tried both cards same issue), breakfast didn’t have a many options.
