Really nice hotel right on the waters edge in Sirmione. We stayed for 3 nights in a room with a lake view. If you’re taking a car then drop a line to the hotel who will arrange parking at a large car park about 300 meters from the hotel. It’s about £10 per 24 hours and you get a complimentary chauffeured ‘stretch’ Golf Buggy which delivers you and any luggage direct to the hotel. If you travel ‘light’ it’s only about an 8 minute walk. The ‘Lake View’ part of our room was an added extra which I wouldn’t bother with again as you had to climb out your bedroom and look over a brick wall to see the lake and over the 3 days we saw the lake morning, noon and night. Can’t decide whether room was a bit dated or fitted in with the decor of the hotel, bit of unsightly mould around the shower but other than that room was very clean, (maid was daily). Biggest issue but not the biggest deal in the world was the lack of plug sockets, 1 behind the TV (being used by the TV) and the only other one in the bathroom (!). This made charging phones etc a bit problematic. Hotel staff were helpful and super friendly. Included ‘Free’ Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice but omelettes and poached eggs etc came at an additional price. The outdoor pool and spa is in a separate building opposite with the pool being a bit tight for space, you’d do well to just turn up and get a sun-bed, yet alone 2. Fantastic location for shopping, dining and transport links. Very picturesque with helpful and friendly staff. Room comfortable and breakfast was fine. The sulphur smells from the pool were very unpleasant and on occasion permeated through the hotel but the pool area itself was nice if a bit overheated. Would be good to have tea/coffee facilities in the room.

Parking is a hassel. It is about 1/2 a kilometer away from the hotel. Then you have to take a cart to and from the hotel even with your luggage. In no where on the hotel descriptions this important information. When we arrived, I had to park on th street, then walk 5 min to get to the hotel to get the code to enter the parking lot... It would have been helpful to get this information ahead of time and the parking code. Othe than that the hotel is clean with beautiful view on the lake.

Check in was not easy, as hotel failed to send email with details of parking arrangements. The restricted car access meant we had to park temporarily some distance from the hotel and walk to reception to establish where the parking had been arranged, before we could check in. Staff were friendly and helpful. Best feature of the hotel is the lakeside location and thermal spa facilities that are excellent.

Spent a very pleasant week here. We chose it because of its proximity to the ferry terminal, and it was perfect for this. The hotel was great and we do recommend it. I'd have given it full marks except for the sulphorous smell of the thermal spa which permeates the public areas of one of the two buildings making up the hotel. It's not a show stopper, but it's something to be aware of. Many positives though - the staff were nice, as was the room, and also the dining room. Sitting outside on the terrace in the evening sunshine with a drink, overlooking the lake, was lovely.

Historic and atmospheric, beautiful location in the traditional old town, spacious restaurant and pier access, very convenient for ferry access and sunshine on terrace all day round. Food options were extensive but more expensive than comparable restaurants in the area, and it would have been nice to have a freshwater pool to cool down in. Spa and restaurant staff were fine, not overly friendly, but reception staff were excellent - their local restaurant and gelato recommendations were superb!

Das aller beste am Hotel war die Lage! Inmitten der historischen Altstadt umgeben von leckeren Restaurants und schönen Geschäften, blieben uns keine Wünsche offen. Außerdem ist zu betonen wie nett das Personal gegenüber unserer Hündin reagiert hat. Wir durften sie in ihrer Tasche sogar mit zum Pool nehmen. Danke dafür!! Nun leider ein paar Dinge, die uns nicht gefallen haben. Das Hotel ist schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Der Teppichboden im ganzen Haus ist dreckig und befleckt. Unsere Dusche hatte erste Anfänge von schwarzem Schimmel. Das Frühstück war leider sehr einseitig, da haben wir uns bezüglich der Auswahl mehr erhofft. Außerdem würde ich jedem raten die Fenster abends geschlossen zu halten, da wir Fledermäuse zu Besuch hatten. 😂 Das alles haben wir aber gerne in Kauf genommen, weil die Aussicht auf den Gardasee einfach atemberaubend war. Wir können das Hotel empfehlen, jedoch sollte man nicht zu viele Ansprüche an die Einrichtung und das Frühstück haben.

Hotel aconchegante, limpo, amplo. Quarto amplo, confortável, bem limpo e organizado, cama e travesseiros confortáveis, banheiro amplo, com excelente ducha. Vale a pena comentar das amenidades, ( gel para banho, shampoo, creminhos anti-age e águas termais), pequenas amostras dos produtos usados no spa de águas termais. Café da manhã bem variado e com vista para o lago. Estacionamento conveniado, perto do hotel, mas que faz um leva e traz ao hotel. Enfim excelente estadia!!

We’ve had a lovely time at the hotel. The hotel is located in the Old Town and perfect location on the edge of the lake. We chose a double aspect balcony room. Our room was in the main hotel building. The room was a little dated but very clean. Shower was powerful and bathroom had bidet. The spa and pool are situated across the courtyard and unfortunately there is a very strong smell of sulphur as you walk through to the pool. The service in the bar was pretty much non existent, so we chose to have a drink elsewhere before finding somewhere for dinner. The breakfast was included in the price and was very good too. Plenty of choice with some others choices for an extra cost. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again, but only in the original building. Rooms 2 and 3 are the ones with sun beds on the balconies and have a fantastic view of the lake.

I stayed for one night. The location is perfect, on the lakefront and easy access to the tourist attractions. My booking came with a 2 hour spa benefit, the thermal spa is okay not great. The room had no blockout curtains. It was very noisy with children running around the floor at night making it hard to sleep. Then the cleaning started at 9:30am and the vacuum cleaning was so loud it woke me up. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable to sleep on.

Location location location. This one ticks the boxes. Just inside the bridge onto the island it is right next to the shops, bars and restaurants and next to the ferry pier. Everything is a very short walk. We had a room with a small balcony overlooking the water and ferry pier. Well appointed and comfortable. The hotel is old and classic historic in some ways and a little tired in others. The only negative was the AC in the room did not cope with an early June heat. We set it to 19 but the room never got below 23 making it difficult to sleep at night. You can’t have the windows open as there are loads of flying insects hanging around. I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

We were met by a very friendly, smiling Receptionist called Nevenka. She took our details and gave us our room keys. On getting to the room we found it to be a double room with a large bed. I had request twin beds. We returned to reception and Nevenka without any fuss arranged for us to have a twin room. The room was again a large room. The hotel is ideally situated within the town walls. You are not allowed to take your vehicle into the town. You park in a designated area outside and are taken by a large golf buggy to your hotel. I would recommend this hotel to other visitors.

We normally only leave 5 stars as we travel a lot and we're in the business. Sorry, couldn't so it this time. Elevator wasn't working. Be careful if you open your doors at night with the lights on. You will have a million bugs in your room within 10 minutes. They leave a thing hanging on the door explaining this but they do not tell you at check-in. Easily overlooked. Service at the outside restaurant by the lake was non-existent. Definitely wouldn't stay here again and won't recommend to anyone. Sorry, but it wasn't a good experience.

I found the hotel to be extremely basic, charging a premium for its "location". The surrounding area is filled with low-quality restaurants and souvenir shops catering to the daily influx of tourists. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay near Lake Garda, I recommend choosing a different hotel.

Lovely hotel and a prime location. Staff were friendly and the lowest price room was great! All in all, we had a nice stay but there just need to be a few tweaks to guest comfort to warrant the 4* in my opinion. The spa is a bit misleading, you don’t really need to book a time slot as the booking is only for the use of a relaxer chair. Also, they didn’t provide slippers in the room - we were sent back to the room from the spa ( different building across the public footpath) to get changed into robes. We had to then walk back in robes and our boots so looked a bit silly! The breakfast wasn’t brilliant for 4* - cold cooked food and it wasn’t clear about coffee options as it all appeared to be self service with no coffee - then the waitress came and asked us for our coffee order a while after starting breakfast. Fantastic pastries though, they’d be better sticking to continental really.

Historic and atmospheric, beautiful location in the traditional old town, spacious restaurant and pier access, very convenient for ferry access and sunshine on terrace all day round. Food options were extensive but more expensive than comparable restaurants in the area, and it would have been nice to have a freshwater pool to cool down in. Spa and restaurant staff were fine, not overly friendly, but reception staff were excellent - their local restaurant and gelato recommendations were superb!

O ar condicionado não funcionava, as atendentes não deram um atendimento cordial, o spa não tinha uma mesa na piscina vaga. Tudo lotado e sem estrutura para os hóspedes. Perguntei sobre o ar condicionado e disseram que não estava funcionando mesmo sem tomarem providências. No café da manhã não eram repostos pratos e talheres.
