There is very limited parking on site have to park in the street.

Check in was easy. Unfortunately our room wasn't clean yet and had to wait a while but reception lady was lovely and gave me vouchers for the restaurant/bar. Great views and great pool area. Restaurant good and playroom good 👍

Great stay. Very convenient place for travel and catch up with friends. Having the bistro on the same site was great, with very nice meals and comfort.

The location to all place is very good, but the parking for the guest leaves a lot to be desired!

It was ok nice hotel with a stunning sea view. Location was good easy parking within the hotel area. The hotel got no lift, if you have big luggages and being arrange to stay in the upper floor congrats you just won yourself some free basic shaolin kung fu training. Pray hard you got no rude hotets room neighbors, the soundproof was bad and we have 2 nights with some rude user next to our room keep banging their doors every 10 or 15mins when they are in the room. ** please take note that the hotel to Penguin Parade is between 15 to 20 mins drive. However, beside the above we enjoyed our stay there and if we are going back again we will consider staying there again..

We really enjoyed our stay - We had read a range of mixed reviews but we need not have worried ! We stayed in a Queen Bay View Room and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean and tidy, very comfortable beds and plenty of room to move around with 2 adults and a teenager ! The views were amazing day and night from the 3rd floor! It was well located to walk across to the beach, jetty or down the Main Street for eateries. The hotel has a range of delicious meals as well. All staff from reception to house keeping were friendly and welcoming. Check in was easy and a pleasant surprise to receive a text message to say our room was ready before check in time. Things to note * there is no lift - if you want the views be prepared to walk up stairs (not a massive amount but handy to know) * off street parking is limited especially if you don’t get back until late afternoon and in the evening - but we had no trouble finding off street parking but could be challenging in peak times * shower water pressure was AMAZING- but the drain couldn’t keep up and our shower base over flowed every night and it was VERY slippery on the tiles. Overall we were very happy with our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return, and we were already talking around returning in September.

The stairs at the rear are so slippery when they are wet. They are an extreme hazard to all people. They should have non slip bull nose on every tread

Great spot, great view. No lifts. Hard to go up and down many stairs with children and bags. All up very lovely hotel and great value for money.

Loved the kids area above the restaurant, 2 inflatable bouncy obstacle courses and the movie theatre. Would have been good with a small area for smaller children/toddlers like foam building blocks etc. There was an empty area for something like that. Great walking distance from the main st of Cowes and the beach. Would have been good if the restaurant did brekkie or provided a toaster within the family budget room.

Check in was quick with convenient pre checkin registration. The only downside was the WiFi unstable but that won't stop us from staying here again. It's fab

View was great. Beds were fine. But the cleanliness of the room was questionable to say the least. No one has cleaned under the bed in at least a year. There was a dead fly on the floor when we came in and all the decorative cushions were stained. Not small stains either. I doubt the floor got anything more than a quick sweep between guests. No one came to clean the room while we were there either. Location is great though, but they really need to get on top of cleaning or that place won't last

Everything was okay except cleanliness of the room. We found ants and bugs on the sheets. Sheets were not cleaned properly. Looks like it wasn’t even changed. Also people were drinking outside their rooms in public areas even though it says no drinking or partying. Just a review and won’t be returning. Thank you

Reception staff were lovely. The budget room was immaculate and comfortable.

Checked into the hotel suite with the Queen bed in one room, and the 2 single beds in the other - my partner wanted to sleep in the room closest to the bathroom, so I moved the 2 single beds together. Under the bed were about 20 toenails clippings from the previous guest. Disgusted, I walked to reception to alert them of the situation; lady at the front desk said there’s no housekeeping staff working; so went to the utility store myself and picked up a vacuum and proceeded to clean the entire suite myself. Night time was also an issue as the room was adjacent to the smoking section of the pub next door and screaming punters yelling at the screens hoping to hit their quaddies till midnight. Bit disappointed with the stay and lack of solutions offered; probably not the most family friendly. Just probably went there on a bad day.

With stains on the bed linen, grotty shower/bathroom, no fly screen on the one window and shop front glass across the entire front including the door so nil privacy, This place is in desperate need of an overhaul, The price definitely doesn't reflect this accommodation...

Rusty bathroom and fitting, very dirty shower curtains and dusty carpet, broken doors, very noisy stairs and doors….

The bedroom was fine but the bathroom was not clean. Very disappointing.

The bay room views are wonderful. The rooms were spacious, although the bathrooms are curious with an added changing area without seating or a place to hang clothes/robes. The walls are thin, however, and noise carried between rooms easily.

After upgrading from budget room (would not recommend!) to sea.bay view on front, our stay was wonderful!! Fabulous views, location and everything you want within a few minutes walk. Spacious room & large bathroom enabled a comfortable & good night’s sleep. Would highly recommend!!

There was no table or chairs in room to sit and coffee floor needs to be nailed down they squeaky and bounce there is no power point beside bed to charge phones only on bed side table even though its a budet room they need these things

Room was clean. TV didn’t work properly had to retune it ourselves, barely any channels and no access or way to watch Netflix or any other streaming services. Room was above the smoking area which was loud and smelt disgusting not great for asthmatics to walk past and have the smell wafting not the room.

We had a budget room. It was small, musty and old. Drainage in the 1970’s bathroom was horrible, showering with water up to your ankles. You could hear everything on the street as well as in the above apartment. It was nothing like the photos, the room was more like a storeroom than a motel room. It was very disappointing.

The room was very basic and quite outdated. The TV was small, wall-mounted, and not a smart TV, which made entertainment options limited. Unfortunately, staff from the pub next door often gathered outside our door for their smoke breaks, which wasn’t ideal. On a positive note, the shower had great water pressure, though it was over a bath with a shower curtain — not my preference. Overall, the place is in desperate need of a revamp to bring it up to modern standards.

The room was advertised with a spa, i specifically booked it for this reason. There was no spa. Staff did nothong except make excuses. I called Wotif tjey tried but the staff had already changed the ad so it looked like i was wrong to Wotif, stadf were rude, condescending unhelpful and arrogant DO NOT RECOMMEND WILL DEFINITELY NOT RETURN!! Only stayed as it was to late to find anytime else. Room wasnt clean, subbish in bin from last people

Terrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs! I had an awful stay at North Pier Hotel. First, my room key didn’t work, so they moved me to another room—but after reception had shut, my key failed again. I tried calling the after-hours number for help, but no one answered. With no other options, I had to climb through a hallway window to the balcony just to get into my room. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the room below me partied until 4 AM, making sleep impossible. In the end, I gave up and slept in my car. Terrible service, no support when you need it, and zero consideration for guests. I won’t be staying here again!

I’m terrible with names but the lady that greeted me at check in was the most welcoming receptionist I’ve come across in my whole trip. I found the over all stay awesome. The room was small but it done us fine for the night. The bed was the best sleep I’d had in the week. Easy access.

The Manageress of the property was downright rude, unhelpful, and disrespectful. What a turnoff when you go to book in for a holiday! The budget room was awful, the bed was so uncomfortable I could not sleep, the room smelled musty and the bathroom was ancient, it took 5 mins for the water to run hot, and the shower was an ancient plastic tub with a shower screen, could not wait to get out of the place, I will never go back there again.

This hotel’s location is excellent due to its proximity to beach, shops, restaurants and Phillip island. Fairly decent hotel with excellent restaurant. Only problem was that they don’t serve breakfast but there are plenty options around

Convenient location right by the beach with lots of nice dining options nearby. Parking on site and on street but first comes first served. Room was everything we needed, a bit old and some dust in nooks. Loud music until 11pm but otherwise great

Good parking available, staff is great, just little to no noise reduction from the rooms so you’ll hear the street noise. Great otherwise, good bang for you buck.

It took my husband ages to work out how to get the heater control to work. I would have just got someone to come and sort it! The room was short of powerpoints next to the bed for phone charging. Next time we will be more prepared. Loved that we could buy food from the pub and take it back to our hotel room. The food was also top class! It was well situated to Thompson Avenue and had a great outlook over the water. We were there on a Thursday night and it was surprisingly quiet. It was certainly value for money and we will certainly be back!

The location is excellent and the view of the bay was gorgeous. The hotel is an easy walk to numerous cafes and restaurants. There are three large supermarkets nearby. The beach and the jetty are across the road. There is plenty of off-street parking. Staff were very friendly. Our room was large and we used the jet spa bath every day. The bathroom had nice toiletries, although, BYO toothbrush and toothpaste. They provided tea and coffee with a kettle and a bar fridge. The bed was really comfortable with good pillows and crisp linen, including nice towels. Honestly, the only downside was the annoying emails and text messages they kept sending multiple times each day. They want your credit card details, drivers license number and car registration number before check-in and, even when you provide all that, their system keeps generating multiple emails and text messages asking for those same details. Then, they send a text message moments after check-in with information about the hotel, as if we wouldn't have looked into that prior to booking. Then they email to make sure check-in was okay and then another email after checkout to ask for feedback! Enough!! We were sick of hearing from them and it added an unexpected layer of stress that almost negated the whole reason for our visit - to relax!

Was disappointed with lack of dining times in hotel. Would like to have had breakfast there!

Great view of bay. Good food, restaurant next door with many beer selections. Locals eat there. Good price for size of room.
