Designated smoking areas are great but ashtrays need emptying. Restaurant wasn’t open and I was not told there was a cafe otherwise I would definitely have gone there. Room was clean but needed a little care. Looked a bit tired. Pool closed at 7pm. Why? Tv didn’t work and there wasn’t any instructions on use. More information would be helpful in the welcome pack. Loved the location and staff were friendly

Bathroom was small, unable to adjust the shower hose so water was spraying onto floor. A handheld shower hose and something to store soap or hook on in the shower would be useful. Parking slot for our cabin was tricky. No marked lines

Shower not cleaned mould around inside edge No daily towel service … had to go to office for more towels wet ones were never collected… Had to step sideways past basin to get to toilet Kettle provided but no microwave or toaster so had to walk around back of building to get to camp communal kitchen to cook breakfast for price we paid understanding xmas peak draws higher fee , 3 night stay warranted at least these issues supplied . So not impressed at all.

The little cabin we had was nice, clean and had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. It is a 10 min walk into Cowes for lots of dining and drinking options. There is a Cole’s round the corner too for groceries. The game room wasn’t much use as the pool table was missing most of the balls and the ping pong table had seen better days.

Absolute Jem in the heart of cowes! Can’t get a better location with a more friendly staff or management. Perfect for families, great bbq facilities and cute pool for the kids. Coles is 2 minutes WALK! Designated parking for each cabin.

Great cabin with all facilities

Great property, great position. Our studio apartment had a fridge and some dishes but we used the camp kitchen for cooking and dish washing. Next time I'll reserve a cabin, not a studio. Otherwise lovely place, very convenient to shops, beach and attractions.

We enjoyed our stay at Amaroo Holiday Park. It was clean and comfortable. Nice and quiet.The Barbecue area was not as clean but that's on the people that use it. Very close to shops and beach.

Nice cabin i stayed in which had everything you'd need for a 3 night stay.

We were so looking forward to our stay but at 10pm on our first night our daughter wad unwell and we had to call an ambulance. We didn't use the accommodation but while we were there (3 hours) we noticed the cabin was extremely well kept with more than enough room for our family of four. We were excited to check out the Facilities on the Saturday but were unable too.

this property was unlivable moldy bathroom that looked like it was there for months toilet look like it was never cleaned bed sheets didn't look like they have been changed kettle was leaking from the bottom cook top and oven had grim on it glass door had no lock mount to lock the door would not recommend staying here.

I found the bed to be extremely uncomfortable. I’ve slept on foldout beds that were nicer. There was a sheet, a quilt with no cover, and what felt like a table cloth on top of that. The blanket provided looked really old. I’m glad I brought my own blanket as what was provided wasn’t very good. The shower was quite small. I’m 165cm and had to lean down a bit to wash my hair as the shower head was quite low. If you were taller than that or a larger bodied person, it may be a bit difficult. The cleanliness was average. It wasn’t dirty but needs to be cleaned a bit more thoroughly. The kitchen had a bit of an ant problem. There were a few little things too that just make me feel like the place isn’t well maintained. The table was wobbly and I was worried the leg would break. One of the flush buttons on the toilet kept falling off. The clock was broken and wouldn’t keep correct time. Overall it was just an ok stay. I guess it’s fine for budget accommodation. It’s in a great location and just a short walk to the main street and beach. I wouldn’t stay here again though. I’d rather spend a bit more and stay somewhere I didn’t use any of the facilities such as bbq, pool, games room, etc… so can’t comment on what they were like.

We only stayed one night. There was a bag of lemons, box of crackers and a container of eaten crisps left in the kitchen cupboard. Oven was dirty on the bottom too, food scraps. I couldnt get our glass door to lock unfortunately. However the room was clean and tidy otherwise. Loved the fact we could watch a movie on netflix before bed so that was a good bonus.

The cabin was comfortable a d clean but short on supplies

The Only Problem that myself and my partner had with the Deluxe Queen Package we had booked was that the shower in the room was very small. We would have preferred a tv in the bedroom rather than just one being above the fridge in the kitchen. The only other genuine problem faced was that there was an English barrier with management & communication. Otherwise the facilities met our needs and expectations and was otherwise a very enjoyable stay and look to be staying in the future.

Lacking some maintenance inside the cabin. Cabin needs some hanging hooks for clothes in bathroom and bedroom. Plenty of space in the bedroom that can be utilize for bags/suitcase to be lifted off the ground, add a stand or small cabinet. Grouting outside the shower door needs to be cleaned.

Booking was for Classic One-Bedroom King Cabin. Cabin was quite spacious except bedroom was very small and only a double bed.

The room condition was acceptable and clean. Check in was smooth. There were several opened windows when we arrived though and some without fly screens. Had to check everyone one of them to ensure it was closed before going to bed. Some also didnt have locks which was unusual and concerning as we had the kids sleep in the double bunks room (didn't want them falling out!). I don't think there was enough crockery in the kitchen and we had 6 of us stay in a 6 bed studio. We had ice cream one night and had to eat them in the cups because there werent enough bowls, only 2...We were only given 1 set of keys, could be better if we received 2. The bathroom overflow drain in the middle was cracked and on an angle, it could have cut someones foot. The drain also didn't goanywhere except straight down to the ground underneath the cabin and you could see the dirt. People could probably also see from the bottom up lol. The price was reasonable for what it was at the end of the day and I am glad we just stayed the night midweek.

The deluxe property was very new and clean. But it missed amenities like clothes hangers; also in bathroom there is 1 rack for tower but nowhere to put clothes on.

We had a lovely one night stay. The cabin was amazing. Very modern, clean, heated up quick, bed was comfortable, great kitchen and a nice hot shower. Staff were very helpful with my inquires about our late check in and all info provided helped us check in late smoothly after a long drive. Price was fantastic for the accommodation. Will be back again for longer stay as 1 night was not enough. I have one small suggestion a tea towel and oven gloves provided in the kitchen would help. overall 10/10. Thank you for having us at such short notice.

Et forfærdeligt ophold. En plastik plade der natten lang hamrer mod bygningen og holder folk vågne. Et brusebad hvor vandet ender alle andre steder end på personen, der tager brusebadet. Varmt / koldt vand delen fungerer heller ikke - enten brænder man sig - ellers er vandet iskoldt. En lille hytte hvor taget er så tyndt, at bare en fugl sætter sig på taget kan det høres tydeligt - overalt. Personalet går tidligt hjem - kl. 16 - og derefter er der self indtjekning - det går nok, men her er det virkelig besværligt. Vi mindes ikke nogensinde at ha overnattet så dårligt et sted

Amaroo is perfect for my family of 5, with child and teenagers. It is clean, comfortable and even though we had to check-in late, we were given clear instructions on how to access our unit. Had trouble w starting fire on stove, but a staff came in to help even though it was after 8pm. Really appreciate the help! Will return. :)

Staffs English is not good and doesn’t have knowledge of the local area. Cabin is nice and clean. Close to Main Street in Cowes. Ok to stay for a few days

We had an absolutely excellent stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and very professional. The room was spotless, beautifully furnished, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. We were especially impressed with the attention to detail and how well-maintained everything was. Short walk to the restaurants and to the beach. The apartment was nice big and clean. The bed was comfy.

My daughter & I stayed at Amaroo for a few days away. Fabulously situated to all the local attractions. Pleasantly clean & tidy. All staff interactions were great. Would defo recommend 5 ⭐️

Fabulous stay. Everything was in immaculate condition & staff was extremely friendly & accomodating . Excellent location as within walking distance to centre. Also great breakfast onsite at Mon Dieu.

Highly recommended! Conveniently located close to a cafe, coles and various other shops. The room was very clean and had the basic necessity. Staff is warm amd helpful. The property is well maintained and clean throughout. We enjoyed our stay. I would definitely rebook when we visit Phillip Island.
