The room was clean. It's a hotel, the room is SUPPOSED to be clean, so what? The reason I payed more for this place is the pool, which was more like VERY cold foggy bath water in a disgusting room. There are notices throughout the entire hotel claiming that they are doing renovations, but I saw no sign of any such thing, not even workers or anything. This pool area was completely filthy and disgusting, and hasn't been touched in months. I'll never be back, and I urge anyone else looking at this place to find somewhere else.

Lack of available carts at discharge. There were only 2 and people were very slow returning those carts. We waited 10 minutes for cart and finally had to struggle to get our luggage to the car. Front desk person said manager was aware but additional carts had not been oedered. We are in our mid 70's so this was a major problem for us.

The reason for my poor review were a combination of a few things. First and foremost, my room was clean, and it was obvious they had made a significant upgrade or renovation. However, the hallway had a very bad smell due to lack of ventilation and the very dirty carpet that obviously requires shampooing. Their amenities were also poor. The gym was not functioning and pool looked old. Lastly, on Sunday my last day of check-out, the breakfast was horrible. The waffle machine broke down, the heated tray for the bacon and egg was also down. They did not seem to bother to explain to the guests. When I asked for new towels, the employee at the desk asked me to go look for the housekeeper on the floor to get some. he didn't seem bothered that it was his duty to help me out. All these bad customer service flaws just marred my beautiful stay.

Check-in and out was easy. Bathroom was very clean and bright (which I like). It was in the middle of renovations but it was hard to tell what was going on with that the days I was there. The hallways were warm and the AC in my room never truly felt cold. Also, there was only 1 vending machine for drinks in the whole place. It only took cash and drinks were $4 each. That was inconvenient when I only had a card and didn’t want to leave the hotel for a bottle of water.

Dogs are allowed. Rooms are super clean annd updated inside. Furnishings and bedding are new and fresh. But - they are renovating. So the halls and lobby are not great. Overall I’d stay again when driving from Florida to Michigan. Also there is a nice space to allow dogs to walk a bit behind the hotel.

The indoor pool has very poor lighting and no heater. It’s located in a pretty rough area, all the shops nearby have bars on their windows. The gym is a treadmill and lat pull down machine in a very small room, no free weights or benches. The room was spacious.

The pool area needs to be fixed and look better. There was rust and not enough chairs in the area for an indoor pool. The whole thing needs to be remodeled.

I never write reviews, but this place deserves one. Moldy/dirty shower. Syrup on the floor. Holes in the bedding. Stuff splattered on the walls. The pool hasn’t been cleaned on I don’t know how long. Crap floating in the pool, candy wrappers and garbage lying all over. This place was just GROSS!!

We checked in at almost midnight and when I woke up to use the restroom in the middle of the night there were roaches crawling all over the bathroom floor. They were climbing on the walls and out of the cracks by the tub. I took pictures killed them and at 5 am went to the front desk. The security guard asked me what would I like. I said I would like my money back this is disgusting He said you think you should get your money back for a minor inconvenience you got to sleep

Our room was 218. It was so noisy all night long. Outside below our window we’re all the fans & mechanicals for air conditioning for the entire hotel!!! Terrible night!!!!! We still had 2 more days of driving to get home.!! Also the floors so thin that we could hear people walking in the room above us starting at 5am! Terrible. Want to be replaced imbursed for my sleepless night.!!

The mattress had bulging springs, and the reason you get a hotel is to get some good rest. The caulk around the inside of the sink - which you can see clearly when you sit on the toilet - is full of mold and mildew. There were hairs on my sheets. It was just bad, bad. They are renovating at this location, but renovations do not change a LaQuinta into a Four Seasons.

This property is a lovely and safe place to stay! They are currently doing renovations, but I was not at all inconvenienced by any of it. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel itself was so quiet and all the guests were respectful and quiet. The beds and bedding were lovely. The bedding itself was soft and a perfect weight. The blackout shades are amazing! They totally kept the room so dark and I slept like a log. The rooms have both a microwave and refrigerator. Unusual to see a freezer part to it! I had a cooler pack so it was nice to keep it frozen. The breakfast was lovely! The waffles were light and fluffy (make your own) and there was everything you needed to get your day started. The staff was absolutely kind and friendly! They even make cookies at the front desk in the evening! They were truly a delicious treat after we came back from dinner! I would stay here again!

This is our second stay at this property booked though Expedia. They are in the process of renovating and I was very impressed with the little things like the black out shades instead of curtains and the updated finishes. We will continue to make this our stop on the way to Disney.

From the moment we arrived, the experience was wonderful. The receptionist greeted us with an outstandingly friendly attitude and a big, welcoming smile—it really set a positive tone for our stay. The room was a pleasant surprise—much larger than expected! It offered plenty of space, a big TV, a spacious seating area, and extra chairs for added comfort. The bathroom was clean and well-kept, with unlimited hot water, which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast was good with continental offering. It included scrambled eggs, sausage, fried potatoes, pancakes, fresh fruit, cereal, assorted pastries, juice, and coffee—just to name a few. Overall, a great stay with excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and generous amenities. recommended!

Hotel, cleanliness and food is excellent. However front desk staff was not knowledgeable which resulted in double charges in my credit card, which the front desk staff said “these computers do crazy things”. Had to go to the GM to get it fixed. She was knowledgeable and fixed the problem and apologized for the issue. But two Front Desk staff, weren’t well trained or remembered their training.

After a long exhausting trip the last thing we were interested in is having a political debate with the check in clerk. That\'s exactly what happened after she looked at my Florida ID and felt it necessary to give her "educated" opinion. Having my son just sworn in as LE last week, I\'m admittedly sensitive to the situation and appalled at the unprofessionalism of the staff. I had to literally tell her that she needed to end the conversation and provide me with my room key. Other than that, the hotel was extremely clean and comfortable. I was impressed with the appearance and it met all our needs.

When we checked in, the girl at the desk was very rude and confrontational. I simply asked for a cart and she became nasty about that. Every question I had became a nasty remark from her . I will never stay here again nor will I allow my business partners to stay here. There are other places to stay nearby. Outside of her attitude, things were fine. The ladies name was Amy.

Clean. Very rude and unfriendly desk attendant. We didn’t have a tv remote and we were told by the desk attendant that we would get one, but never did. We complained the next morning and that desk attendant apologized and gave us a discount for our inconvenience which we appreciated.

I purchase travel insurance for this stay because of late travel and wanted to insure the room was available unpin late arrival. Got to the hotel around 3:00 am and the front desk clerk wouldn’t open the door, kept repeating no check ins after 11:00 pm and was very rude. Almost seemed like she had been drinking . This was a very high rated La Quinta

The hotel was great. My car got broken into during the night. I had to drive 750 miles with plastic on the drivers door. The hotel owner never even came down to talk to us. He had no security at all for the parking lot. When in Macon Ga. Don’t stay at La Quinta.

Hotel was in a great location, plenty of places to eat nearby, very quiet considering it is so close to the interstate, no traffic noise in the room at all. Check in was great, very clean and comfortable.

Very nice stay. Quiet and Clean. Some reviews said area was sketchy but we did not find that to be the case. Many options for restaurants within walking distance and a Walmart nearby. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Far enough from 475 that you did not near traffic. Would stay again.

Lovely property in excellent condition. Dog walking area is ample and well maintained. Beds and room were comfortable. Several dining options within a few miles of the hotel. The breakfast was fresh and delicious with hot and cold options. Would definitely stay again.

We had an issue with the breakfast, it served between 6 & 9 AM, we arrived with my wife at 7:30 AM, there was no scrambled eggs, just a little left in the pan and were cold and had not been replenished by the time we left, the toaster was not working, wife likes toast with jam, the coffee pot was empty, had to choose decaf that I don’t drink. It’s a shame as we have used this hotel many time on our trip to Florida. Will have to find new location next year.
