One of the most perfect hotels I ever stayed in. The hotel has only one problem: its gym is completely inadequate. It only has three machines in it, and they were poorly chosen. There is no equipment for lateral pull-downs, nothing that can be used to do pull-ups, etc. For a hotel designed for long stays, this is a serious problem. If they equipped this hotel with a suitable gym, I would stay here for months very happily. But because the gym is inadequate, I will use Chatrium for long stays, even though the room in Chatrium is inferior to the room at this hotel. The room quality, it should be stressed, is exceptionally good here.

Excellent! Provides shuttle service which can bring you to the Thong Lo BTS and even Big C Ekkamai. Surrounding area has some good food. Would definitely stay again if I am back in Bangkok!

Nice room. Nice swimming pool. The staffs are helpful. A bit far from BTS, takes 12 mins walk. They have shuttle bus to Thonglor BTS, easy to reach this services. The washing and dry machine is great. Good for family or business trip.

2nd time staying at this property in a few weeks. Great homebase in Bangkok. Washer and dryer in unit is a lifesaver on a longer trip. The pool and breakfast are great to have. And the service staff is helpful. Also, free parking if you happen to have a vehicle. One thing that struck me as weird is that we pulled up and no one came out to help with bags, direct us where to go. It was our 2nd time being there and this didn't happen the 1st time. They told us that they were "waiting" for us to check in first. Seems weird to withhold help, when to properly check-in, we need to have the car parking and be inside with our bags. Just a note, so hopefully the staff reads this and makes an adjustment. All that said, I would def visit here again.

Fast check-in. Pleasantly upgraded to a better room. Nice area with 24H supermarket opposite the hotel and many restaurants in the area. Free shuttle to BTS Thonglor and respond via WhatsApp was prompt. Late check out request was also granted. Excellent stay.

Really excellent stay. Both deluxe and executive studios are great; all modern and very clean. Pool is sensational and the gym is good too. What really made a difference though is the staff; they’re second to none. Friendly at all times, bending over backwards to help; it was a pleasure dealing with them. So good, I’m staying another week and I will definitely be back

Zu dritt haben wir für einige Tage ein executive Studio gebucht. Die Küche hatte eine gute Ausstattung. Das Zimmer ist groß und hat einen hochwertigen, neuen Eindruck hinterlassen. Leider wurde bei uns unter dem Bett sehr lange nicht mehr gereinigt sodass dort immer wieder fremde Haare hervor kamen. Auch nach mehrmaligen darauf hinweisen ist es nicht richtig sauber gemacht worden. Wirklich schade da der Raum sonst wirklich sehr sauber war. Der Pool machte einen sehr neuen Eindruck, wir waren immer alleine im Wasser und hatten immer eine Liege bekommen. Besonders schön ist dass das Wasser nur sehr wenig Chlor enthalten hat. Im Umkreis finden man 7-11 und andere Shops. Kleine Stände mit Essen findet man in der Gegend nicht so oft, dafür umso mehr japanische Restaurants. Für Bangkok Besucher die viel erleben wollen ist die Lage eher suboptimal da es zwar einen kostenlosen Shuttle Service zur BTS vom Hotel gibt, man aber zu allen anderen Spots sehr lange unterwegs ist.

The apartments and the hotel in general are absolutely spotless, the cleaning staff are great. The reception staff is also very friendly and takes care of their guests very well. Whether it was accepting packages, deliveries, or taking me on their TukTuk service, always with a smile and excellent service. The hotel itself is located very conveniently, if you can’t decide on food outside there’s a great restaurant at the pool which I enjoyed very much, as well as the gorgeous view from the pool while dining😍

I’ve stayed in many hotels in this area. First and foremost this is a phenomenal area when visiting Bangkok. I highly recommend Thonglor. But more than anything I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are modern, clean, with all the amenities that a traveler would need. The staff is absolutely lovely and makes me feel like I’m at home. They’ve taken such great care of me. I can’t say enough good things about the staff and hotel. Thank you team.

I’ve stayed in many hotels in this area. First and foremost this is a phenomenal area when visiting Bangkok. I highly recommend Thonglor. But more than anything I highly recommend this hotel. Kitchen is well equipped. Housekeeping was diligent and also clean up the dishes. Tuk tuk driver was exceptionally kind and helpful to bring me to the hospital when I had serious food poisoning. He shuttled me back from hospital as well, and made sure I reach my room safely. He also helped to bring up my grab delivery, knowing that I just recovered. The hotel admin behind hotels.com was very helpful as well. My room was DND mode while I was in hospital. I gave instructions through hotels.com to have housekeeping team tidy my room on the day of my discharge. Bad experience with food outside the Somerset, but superb experience with Somerset team.

Somerset Thonglor is located on a main road with easy access to restaurants, bars and massage places. Very polite and helpful staff, clean premises, quiet and if you are on a higher floor, then a fabulous view! Baan Ice is an excellent restaurant situated in the same building. BTS Thonglo is a 15 minute walk, however there is a free shuttle available from the hotel. The hotel doesn't have a spa however there are many massage salons nearby. A very comfortable stay!

Location is great, property condition is good with tons of things included like a cooking necessity and plates. Value for money for sure. I would totally come back to this hotel. Oh the staff was really friendly too when I requested for a room upgrade with Expedia gold, they checked and did an upgrade for me although they didn’t automatically give us the upgrade. After checking out, they kept our luggage and when we went back to collect our luggage, they offer if we would like to take a shower before we go to the airport? I was like wow?! That’s a first. Great service and stay overall. To add afew cons, maybe just one. If you’re awake past 12am(I think), the room’s corridor lights are dimmed or turned off so abit dark. But understandable to go green and saving energy. However there was one incident. Couldn’t blame the staff but it was abit creepy. On the first 1-2 nights, my friend, my partner and I all had nightmares and couldn’t sleep properly. We were all staying on the 11 floor. One of my friend dreamt that she was looking out the window of the hotel and a woman in red was running towards her. My partner dreamt that she was on the hotel bed while a lot of hands was pulling her. Mine was I was lying down on the hotel bed and dark man was overshadowing and staring at me. But our friends stayed at the 14 floor had no issue, and our following nights didn’t had issue too. But don’t let this dreams scare you. I would totally give this hotel a try! WORTH!

Location was great! There’s a small mall and grocery in front of the hotel. Many restaurants, bars, massage and beauty services around the area. Around 10 mins walk to the train station. Hotel was big and clean. Staff were all welcoming and friendly. Will definitely stay again!

Good points; the room kept clean by friendly cleaners and concierge staff good. Otherwise, was not recognised as a gold member; the internet on 'complimentary' is low-speed connection, had to negotiate a higher speed (eventually given). the restaurant was mostly closed except for breakfast, therefore, I could not use the voucher that was kindly provided. Dont bother with breakfast; staff are mostly asleep, and food is cold and over-priced. Gym facilities are ok, when they remember to open them and the same goes for steam/sauna facilities (suggest ringing the reception before going down).

空港からタクシーに乗ってホテルに向かいましたが、このドライバーが乱暴な運転でした。ホテルに着いてドライバーにドライブテクニックが悪いと伝えると、彼と揉めました。そこにホテルのドアマンかな？間に入ってくれて収まりました。とても良い対応でした...助かりました。想像していた以上に綺麗で清潔感がありました。各スタッフもとても良い感じでした。欲を言うと朝の朝食の種類が若干少ないかなぁ。次回にもこのホテルを利用する予定です。スタッフの皆さん、ありがとうございました。

Checks all my boxes. Good friendly staff, clean, nice location. In suite laundry, kitchen, plenty of space, and dual balconies made the 1 bedroom premier room perfect. The breakfast is tasty with Thai options rotating daily; All the curries were delicious and spicy as they should be. The breakfast staff assisted me in ensuring I had fresh ground coffee from the machine. The pool was great, very refreshing, clean and tranquil. The staff here are all great 5 star review, but I would still like to see the TV’s be Smart, so as to stream content such as Netflix. There is only basic cable, few English channels. Entertainment would be nice. Coffee in the room greatly lacks; instant coffee is not good; all it would take is a French press and fresh ground coffee to make me really happy

Good location, great staff. I booked off the back of previous reviews which mention how good the breakfast was and I am baffled: breakfast is terrible. It’s the only thing which lets the hotel down though - great rooms, location, staff, pool area. Easily solved with a trip out for breakfast but I had to out this here so others don’t fall into the same trap.
