Parking was good right up front but room was filthy with bugs all over especially on the ceiling which made it impossible to sleep and was waste of money, bathroom was dirty and fridge had previous guest food left in it. I avtually would like a refund as i got sick from staying there and just tje thought of it is making me want to puke right now.

Our experience at this inn was absolutely phenomenal—truly deserving of more than 5 stars! From the moment we checked in, everything was seamless and fast. We had booked two rooms for our family trip from San Diego to explore Vancouver and the surrounding nature, and the owner went above and beyond to place us in conveniently located rooms with beautiful mountain and nature views—perfect for sightseeing and even a few photoshoots! The rooms were spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed: comfy beds, a fridge, microwave, office space, and more. The peaceful neighborhood and abundance of parking (including spots right in front of the rooms and even in the open field) made our stay even more relaxing. We especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere—ideal for winding down after a day of adventures. And the windmill design? Such a charming and unique touch! Very disappointing because of the condition of the rugs, walls ,furniture . Not up to Standard. No service. Hard to find manager or help. It location is super convenient and has great potential but I cannot recommend it without some upgrades. I did feel a little unsafe with RVs parked all around.

Pictures of hotel online do not match the condition of the property, very dark and dingy rooms, damaged door frames, not all lights work, some kind of camper spaces in the back that look trashy and not safe. Did have to stay the first night but found a real hotel the next day. A waste of money, I DO NOT recommend staying at hotel, good luck if you do!

The Pro's: The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room we stayed in was very quiet. There were two windows with beautiful views. The room had good heat, there was a small fridge with a freezer that was very helpful (not the cleanest). The room also had a microwave. Bedding was clean. There was cable and WiFi. The Con's: The room looked well used. There were scratches in the paint through the bathroom. The furniture was stained and well used. There were stains and small holes in the walls. The carpets had stains and runs in it. The toilet seat needed to be replaced. And there was no coffee pot. Overall it was alright to sleep there but I would probably not return or recommend it. Sorry

Black mold growing in the shower, they only cleaned what you could see so there were pizza boxes, someones old shoes, sauce packets, etc under the bed. The beds were unbelievably uncomftabke even the kids were complaining about sleeping on them. Worst hotel I've stayed at ever.

We stayed to work but couldn’t take it , the floor was kinda damp and smelled like sewer . We only got two towels and a molding coffee maker. The fridge didn’t keep our food cold but froze in the back. It wasn’t very clean :( the front office little boy was sweet and I hate to leave bad reviews but it was so unclean

Some the outside. It looks nice. And the rooms in the front probably are. But the rooms they will put you in are extremely dirty, falling apart and uncomfortable. There's only a single piece of drywall separating you from the other rooms. The bathroom window doesn't lock so someone could get in and if you're standing near the bathroom window after the shower Beware. Someone can see in.

This is an older motel that has seen better days, but it was as clean as a budget traveler might expect. It is unfortunately close to a major highway and not well-insulated, so the air conditioner serves as a muffler for road noise and hums all night. I didn't care for the inner-spring mattress and there was no top sheet.

Luke warm water...not hot. Poor lighting. AC very poor..after 3 hours of AC it was hotter in the room than when I turned on the AC. No water glass. Toilet was not clean. Inadequate electrical sockets. No ID verification on check in. Left Key under the door mat at office per instructions when checking out. Looks like a nice 1950 place that has never been kept up.

Our room was clean…large spacious but was missing towels, toilet paper and light bulbs. And we couldn’t deadbolt the outside door. I would stay here again. They were accommodating to our concerns. Meh I didn't think these types of motels were a thing anymore I'm surprised there wasn't an old tube television and a rotary phone in the room. I do have to say that although the property and furniture are a wee outdated the staff/owners are excellent

Although our room was clean, .there were a few things First off the Manager/Owner was quick to address our issues. They appear to be doing Reno’s which will make this Motel up to date. Our room was clean…large spacious but was missing towels, toilet paper and light bulbs. And we couldn’t deadbolt the outside door. I would stay here again. They were accommodating to our concerns. But just don’t expect anything fancy. Our room was basic and that was all we needed for our quick stay. The mgmt sent a

Upon entering hotel, loud talk radio was playing no one was at the front desk. I called the number. A lady walked into office and did not turn the music down. Had to talk with an elevated voice. The entire time went to room. There was a key left in the door knob which we could not remove Front desk Lady sent over what I’m assuming is their handyman an elderly gentleman he wiggled and wiggled the key finally got the key unjammed, then left we had issues locking, and then removing the key from the door knob. toilet paper roll holder was broken. With less than a 1/3 of a roll to use The rooms are very outdated and in disrepair very small room with two full-size beds, barely squeezed in hardly any room to move around the air conditioner is barely hanging on in the window one slight bump and it’ll probably fall out the window. The refrigerator has old nasty water that froze in it totally not worth the hundred dollars.

Hotels.com says 24 hour front desk. Windmill website says 24 hours. Double checked because i knew i would arrive late. Signs all over the door say ring bell for service after 9 pm. 2 separate numbers to call. 1 out of service. The other no answer. After multiple calls and a message at 1 am after 12 + hours on the road i left and had to pay double for a bed. Just ridiculous

Our experience at this inn was absolutely phenomenal—truly deserving of more than 5 stars! From the moment we checked in, everything was seamless and fast. We had booked two rooms for our family trip from San Diego to explore Vancouver and the surrounding nature, and the owner went above and beyond to place us in conveniently located rooms with beautiful mountain and nature views—perfect for sightseeing and even a few photoshoots! The rooms were spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed: comfy beds, a fridge, microwave, office space, and more. The peaceful neighborhood and abundance of parking (including spots right in front of the rooms and even in the open field) made our stay even more relaxing. We especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere—ideal for winding down after a day of adventures. And the windmill design? Such a charming and unique touch! We will definitely be back if we find ourselves visiting Washington state again. Highly recommend!

I like the fact that they were close to stores restaurants and the fairgrounds easy walking distance they're doing a lot of work on the place it looks like and I think they are trying to do a good job of improving the buildings. I didn't really see any of the staff except when I was checked in and she was kind of cold better than that it was a nice big room could be a little bit cleaner

This is an older motel that has seen better days, but it was as clean as a budget traveler might expect. It is unfortunately close to a major highway and not well-insulated, so the air conditioner serves as a muffler for road noise and hums all night. I didn't care for the inner-spring mattress and there was no top sheet.

The hotel had some poor online reviews that made me question whether it was a good choice, but we chose it due to its location relative to our destination. I was pleasantly surprised. The premises were awesome 50 years ago. It's in need of a lot of work. Paint. Light fixture covers. Window dirty. TV didn't pick up HDMI from Chromebook. But close to downtown and other nice places. Lynden is very conservative!!!

The Pro's: The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room we stayed in was very quiet. There were two windows with beautiful views. The room had good heat, there was a small fridge with a freezer that was very helpful (not the cleanest). The room also had a microwave. Bedding was clean. There was cable and WiFi. The Con's: The room looked well used. There were scratches in the paint through the bathroom. The furniture was stained and well used. There were stains and small holes in the walls. The carpets had stains and runs in it. The toilet seat needed to be replaced. And there was no coffee pot. Overall it was alright to sleep there but I would probably not return or recommend it. Sorry

No AC in one of our 2 rooms, was horribly hot, couldn't leave windows open. AC in 2nd room was so dated, too scary to imagine how dirty the filter would have been. No coffee provided. Far too expensive and badly needs more updating and attention.

Cute idea. Woman at reception was “polite” but cold. Needs love and attention. The room was dark (some bulbs missing), the smell of smoke was overpowering! There was no coffee pot! There were brown smears on the wall beside the toilet! TV only worked intermittently. We won’t go back.

It’s quaint , it’s well used , feels like a flash back to the 80’s when it was probably only a couple decades old but it was ok , served the purpose of sleep and a shower , I would go back .

This place was very simple to stay at. The staff was very nice. Very easy check in. I left a belonging behind and they were very helpful with coordinating me swinging through to retrieve it. I would stay again.
