Studio 6 Corporate Extended Stay Rochester Henrietta NY

I got there and they didn't have rooms ready stayed until 530 and left as they were under staffed, no sheets ready and no straight answers. The cleaning staff tried to help but you can tell they were stretched. I didn't get a refund either.

Not sure what happened or why but the staff/manager said there were no rooms. We’d had the reservation for two weeks. We even called a few hours earlier and were told everything is all set. We were fortunate that we were able to stay with family after driving for 6 hours. I can’t speak for the family traveling with an infant or the other people being turned away. Staff did their best in a chaotic situation.

Upon entering the room there was a gel pill on the floor so the floors were not swept. Walking on the bathroom and kitchen floors our shoes stuck so they were not cleaned either. The inside of the fridge was clean but the outside was not stuff was splattered on the doors. There was no way to use the stove. There were NO accessories in the kitchen. There was no coffee maker which was to be there and there was no coffee or grab and go breakfast in the lobby which was supposed to be provided. There were no towel or wash clothes. We had to use the kitchen rag to shower and when we stopped for more towels and a rag we were given 2 towels and a hand towel. There was only the roll of toilet paper on the dispenser provided and we ran out on the last day. The hotel is to be non smoking but clearly that was not the case because all we could smell was cigarette smoke. Last but not least, the windows would not close completely or lock.

I had a reservation for a one night stay over the weekend and they gave away my room without notifying me. I didn't find out until I wanted to check in.

The staff were overwhelmed. The dryers weren't working so the staff couldn't provide clean linens. The lobby filled with angry customers who arrived at the hotel and couldn't get a room. The staff put a note on the window at the front desk stating they weren't accepting new arrivals and left. No customer service at all. 😲
