Nice Alp hotel in middle of Zell am See. Many good restaurants around. Short way to City Express cabin. Staff was ver friendly and everything runs well. Breakfast was typical and good. The Spa was excellent for the end of the skiing day. We recommend!

While centrally located - there’s no air conditioning and the area is extremely noisy until late at night, followed by the cleaning crews in the early hours, followed by the extensive church bells early morning. So, during summer, if you want to leave your windows open you’re unlikely to get any sleep. Check in with cocky young Denis wasn’t stellar. He kept trying to get us to park in the public parking instead of the hotel parking. Hotel parking has an awful entry system for foreigners who may not have Austrian phone access. Hotel is outdated with just the bare minimum provided - one pillow, side lamps glued to side tables etc. Wouldn’t stay here again.

The room was insanely hot, dehydrating, even when cool outside, and the hotel played loud music at night. The hotel is in a good area, the room was large and clean for its age. The front desk person working there was very rude however. She did not like how I rated my check in experience was negative, because I had to wait 2 hrs to get help, because the front desk was closed due to a party. The next day when I tried to get tourist information, she confronted me over it and told me my review was unacceptable. She argued with me in front of other hotel guest and even ignored them when I told her to help them first. This is the first time I ever experienced a hotel worker arguing with a customer over something like this. I did not even get help with recommendations in the area. The behavior of this worker was very UNPROFESSIONAL and kept blaming us or our phones for not being able to call the number for the parking when we got there. It is very unprofessional to be yelled at in front of other guests. I felt embarrassed and anxious, and it completely ruined my vacation. I have stayed at many hotels, and I have never been to a hotel with a worker that displays this horrible attitude, arguing with the customer. I would not recommend this hotel due to this worker, so hopefully some remedial training can help.

Das Hotel macht einen sehr gemütlichen Eindruck. Freundliches Personal und ein normales Frühstück runden das Ganze ab. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Fußgänger Zone raus was etwas laut war aber erträglich. Die Lage ist perfekter Ausgangspunkt für viele Aktivitäten. Kann es nur empfehlen und ich komme wieder.

Das Hotel macht einen sehr gemütlichen Eindruck. Freundliches Personal und ein normales Frühstück runden das Ganze ab. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Fußgänger Zone raus was etwas laut war aber erträglich. Die Lage ist perfekter Ausgangspunkt für viele Aktivitäten. Kann es nur empfehlen und ich komme wieder.

Die Lage war gut und zentral, aber auch sehr Laut. Das Frühstücksbuffet war schlecht. Es wurde kaum Nachgefüllt, die Säfte waren furchtbar und vermutlich das billigste vom billigen. Das Personal sprach nur gebrochen Deutsch. Man musste eine "Destinationsgebühr" zusätzlich zur Tourismusabgabe bezahlen, bei der es sich eigentlich um eine Sommercard handelt. Man muss diese Kaufen, ob man will oder nicht. Für Kurz bzw Wochenendurlauber absolut raus geschmissenes Geld, da sie am Tag der Anreise nicht gültig ist!!!

Hotel is outdated with just the bare minimum provided - one pillow, side lamps glued to side tables etc. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Die Lage war gut und zentral, aber auch sehr Laut. Das Frühstücksbuffet war schlecht. Es wurde kaum Nachgefüllt, die Säfte waren furchtbar und vermutlich das billigste vom billigen. Das Personal sprach nur gebrochen Deutsch. Man musste eine "Destinationsgebühr" zusätzlich zur Tourismusabgabe bezahlen, bei der es sich eigentlich um eine Sommercard handelt. Man muss diese Kaufen, ob man will oder nicht. Für Kurz bzw Wochenendurlauber absolut raus geschmissenes Geld, da sie am Tag der Anreise nicht gültig ist!!!

Das Hotel macht einen sehr gemütlichen Eindruck. Freundliches Personal und ein normales Frühstück runden das Ganze ab. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Fußgänger Zone raus was etwas laut war aber erträglich. Die Lage ist perfekter Ausgangspunkt für viele Aktivitäten. Kann es nur empfehlen und ich komme wieder.

Nice Alp hotel in middle of Zell am See. Many good restaurants around. Short way to City Express cabin. Staff was ver friendly and everything runs well. Breakfast was typical and good. The Spa was excellent for the end of the skiing day. We recommend!

The beds were so comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good and there were a lot of choices to pick from. Enjoyed having options for coffee too.

Yes the stay was good. Central location. Only issue was that the is no front desk staff and email with check in code did not arrive in time. Amazon does not have a good setup with the small local places. Communication is usually not great. Thanks!

The rooms were quite spacious. There are no elevators, so carrying the bags up and down for the elderly people I was with was up to me. It is conveniently located and close to everything in the town. The outlet fried my adapter (using an apple charger that converts voltage). I have travelled often and never had that happen.
