Travelodge by Wyndham Lansing

Room was musty upon arrival. Thank goodness I always pack Lysol wipes and spray. Doors were sticky, bathtub drained slow, the a/c took awhile to cool down the rooms, kept getting flies, and the carpet, furniture and chair seats were DISGUSTINGLY DIRTY. I wouldn’t even sit on them without putting something down first. They certainly don’t move the fridge because the carpet under the door was nasty and looked like water stained. Unfortunately, I had my MIL with me and she fell and had to sit on that nasty carpet until an ambulance arrived. They are renovating and there are dumpsters and shipping containers in the parking lot and they drop a lot of crap all over and pile it up but don’t clean it up. Parking lot is FULL of potholes. I was just back in Lansing and stayed at the Travel Lodge. Cost less and cleaner but they’re drive and parking lot were not too great. I recommend it over this hotel.

the bed was torturous, there were coned out holes in the only way in or out could barley get my car in and out without damage.

I arrived for check in and was welcomed by I believe Brendan was his name the manager of the property. He was very welcoming and nice. I was checked in quickly and hassle free. I didn't pay any unexpected charged or fees which I was so happy about . As the last hotel I had to pay for my animal but it stated pet friendly and didn't mention any extra fees on their website. So that made me very pleased. I got to my room and pretty impressed. The bed was comfortable and they had the big fluffy pillows Score lol. Big plus they have 24/7 coffee in the office and a kidney bean shaped pool . Not that the shape matters but it was cool to me 😂. The room also comes with a mini fridge and microwave all the standard stuff any good room would. Oh and the options for food close by there is a bit of everything within walking distance or a 2-4 min drive. Also a bonus Denny's is within walking distance. The next morning house keeping was very friendly. Enji and Missy where some of the nicest ladies I've met. I can stay I will definitely stay here again. Till next time my new friends.

Property has cameras, and is decently lit. Access roads were bump with potholes. Security fences on neighboring property made the area feel rough. My room door was open upon arrival, and my room key did not work three times in a row. Maybe my experience was a one off, but I ended up not staying on the property and finding a room elsewhere.

The room wad great because of the no carpets. My service animal was kept cooler because of the floor vs carpet. Check in wad great and met a lot of very nice residents. Pool was very enjoyable.

The ceiling tiles were soiled and some were completely missing. And the carpets were extremely dirty and trash was scattered throughout the hallways and around the property. The "Ramada" sign was painted over in red and the Clarion sign was leaning against the building.

First of all, although I reserved two rooms, only one room was there in my name when I arrived. The clerk DID get me the second room, after some back-and-forth. (She was nice, and helpful. Alesha, I think.) The pool was closed for repairs (that should have been on the website).

The Hotel was the filthiest place I have EVER stayed in. Did not use the shower due to the filth of the shower!!!!! Flooring was peeling up in the room. Walls were dirty and stained and the lampshades were too!! Would not recommend staying there even for one night!!!

Very dirty, even for a budget hotel. I wouldn’t even take my shoes off or shower.

The motel was dirty and the room smelled like old cigarettes. Floors were filthy, the bed was terrible my husband and I were folded up like a taco in the middle and couldn’t move. The bed was barely made linens were clean but not made very well.

The shower was dirty and dark mold on the shower curtain.

What a dump, would never stay again or at any travel lodge. Bugs, disgusting shower with cigarette burns, broken bed. destroyed old laminate wood floor. HVAC system terrible. simply the worst I have ever stayed at.

I took pictures of filth in heat/ air unit bathroom ceiling vent and other. A non smoking accessible room. It reeked of smoke i had to use my c-pap machine to breath better. While trying to relax. I paid 136.00 for room it now is listed / at around $70. I checked out by 5:30 am but no sleep on the very lumpy mattress awake all night!! I’d love a refund. It needs desperate remodeling or torn down. A disgrace to hotel chain! Floor had worn cracks really!

Cold water did not work in sink. Lights did not work by bedside. Comfort level of bed was poor. Just a short stay overnight for Granddaughter’s graduation from MSU.

The pictures posted online are "creatively taken" to show the property much better than it actually is!

Never will I stay here again. We didn't get any sleep thanks to the all night rave happening all night. The screaming from people arguing in the parking lot all night long. Constant dogs barking. It was not good at all

Clean rooms and spacious.

It seemed okay clean, but the bed was horrible. It was a spring mattress that crunched when you sat on it. We did not feel safe at all and decided to drive home instead of staying the night.

We had a good time besides when there people don't have transportation and money right away they don't give them time to come up with the money or a little longer to find transportation I'm a single mother and I don't drive and wasn't able to be picked up til 12 and manger said something to me about my ride coming at 11:45 instead of 11:30 and we had everything out by 12 one of the housekeepers was really rude

The manager was extremely rude. I asked about a single serve coffee pot in my room. She said it wasn’t allowed due to fire code. 3 other hotels with in a half block radius have them. When I stayed this she told me to go stay at one of those hotels. And that’s what I’m doing

Staff is sooo rude. Bathroom toilet and floor had urine stains! Sketchy people living there!! Felt so unsafe and noisy!! Dont stay there!!

staff behaved despicably when I reported a room invasion attempt by a non-resident. i will never stay at travelodge again.

Not safe! Broken windows and run down property. BUGS in room. Rooms are filthy and smell like smoke. Loud music played in other rooms, people are living here and sit outside rooms partying. Looks like a drug/prostitute den. Not a safe place!

The room was clean. We reserved a non-smoking room but definitely smelled like someone was smoking in there at one point. Not too safe. Someone was walking around knocking on doors. Great customer service regarding staff. Close by restaurants.

The check in process and service rep was friendly. But there were 6 Sheriff Officer's there reviewing some security footage. I tried to go to the room but things got scarier and scarier looking as I went. I eventually turned around and left.

My room was old out out ivpaid for two rooms but obly one was available. Looks like a drug haven.

I liked that it was convenient at a good price. There was several dinning options there. It served my purposes well. The only thing I did not like was that the room smelled like smoke.
