We loved our stay here! This historic inn is situated right between the towns of Manchester and Bennington, so although there is not a lot in the immediate area, you can drive 10-15 miles along the main road in either direction and have lots of things to do and places to eat. The inn has spacious rooms, a nice breakfast buffet and cookies offered in the evening, along with a spa and massage area. All of the staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome and we definitely recommend Arlington Inn!

Had a wasp issue when we went into our first room but were moved into a different room. Hotel is quaint and bar is amazing with a great bartender. Dave is one of a kind.

This spot looks great from the pix offered online, and it is in the pretty little VT village of Arlington, so what’s not to like? So, no restaurant onsite, only breakfast offered, and the pub is only open Friday and Saturday evenings for 3 hours! The whole place needs a good coat of paint, and the interior is full of outdated large print floral wallpaper. That said, our room was comfortable, and was a free upgrade to a room with a jetted tub, which we appreciated but didn’t use. Plenty of closet space and a nice bathroom. In all, a bit of faded glory here, but still a nice stay. 250.00 a night, somewhat overpriced, but ok.

The inn keeper gave us an upgrade. Our experience was short with only 1 night after hiking. We will be back in the summer with the Bar and Dining room are open. Great place and great people. Clean and well worth it.

Communications were excellent, before, during and after our stay. Jackie personally showed us to our room, showed us where coffee, the community fridge and the breakfast room were, and highlighted information to make our stay more pleasant. The room was a bit quirky (the only closet was in the bathroom; the bedroom was a couple of steps up from the bathroom and entry) and furnished rustically. It was quite a contrast to the elegant exterior of the inn, and given the rather high nightly rate, the eclectic decor was unexpected. But everything was spotlessly clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We were unable to partake of the included coffee and breakfast, but it smelled wonderful, and the tables in the solarium made for a lovely way to start one's day. Check-in and check-out were efficiently handled, and all the staff were friendly and kind. It felt very much like staying overnight at a friend's house. I hope we can stay again when our trip isn't so rushed so we really can experience more of what the Inn has to offer.

I was very impressed by the main house, but not so much by the Parsonage, where I stayed... it smelled old, and the room was small, with minimal furnishings other than the bed and end tables - no chair. It was lovely to stay at the Arlington Inn for a Thanksgiving visit to see family. Everyone who worked there were very helpful and kind, we were given a free upgrade to our room, which was extremely nice. Overall it was a great experience and we would definitely consider staying there again next time we visit the area.

The lower stars relates to the hospitality in the inn. We were looking forward to our stay here, and arrived at 5, after the 4pm check in time. We were greeted with an envelope with a key and directions to our room. The room was cold and TV broken. The number to “call for emergency “ was answered by a delightful woman who moved us to a different room for the night. We didn’t get to stay for breakfast, so I can’t comment on that. Part of getting a room at a B&B, for me, is seeing the hostess, and getting to know the property. The second room was very pretty, an upgrade she said, and the bed was very comfortable.

The owner and Inn Keeper are both wonderful. So accommodating and gracious. The room was lovely and they were thrilled to let our pet goat and her baby graze. The breakfast was amazing. A huge property to take care of but everything was point on. Loved it!

We enjoyed our recent stay at the Arlington Inn. We arrived late but still had easy time gaining access to room. Beds were super comfortable. The standout for us was the staff. The innkeeper had reliable recommendations for sites to visit and places to eat. Provided breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We would stay there again in the future.

It was lovely to stay at the Arlington Inn for a Thanksgiving visit to see family. I had an amazing experience. My room was upgraded and it was an exceptional space. The included breakfast was delicious. The only thing that had me on edge when arriving is that I was the only one on the entire property, I arrived after 4pm so I was left a key but there were no other guests which made me feel uncertain. Everything worked out great and I felt better once the rest of the guests checked in. Truly an amazing place and I will come back!

We loved our overnight getaway! The Inn is charming, peaceful, and private. The staff was friendly and made sure our needs were met. It really felt like home away from home-home without having chores or errands to do, just relax. We had a wonderful experience at Arlington Inn. It’s very bold and bright. We loved the fireplace in our room. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety of scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. The muffins were delicious. Greek yogurt, granola, fresh fruit, salmon, cheeses and more. We’ll return to the Inn the next time we’re in the area. Sunday’s breakfast server for water and coffee was only seen once and didn’t return for refilling.
