Es una hotel amplio, pero su relacion costo-servicio deja mucho que desear, el restaurante sin variedad y costoso, el personal que te atiende no tiene buena actitud de servicio ni el buen dia te dan, y el club de playa es muy aparte, no hay ningun beneficio por hospedarte ahí

Very close to the airport which we wanted. FYI- no elevators which was fine for us but good for others to know. Bed was comfortable but towels although clean, they were fraying. One of them really should be put out of service and used as a cleaning rag at this point. It’s is a residential area so nothing in walking distance to grab a quick bite. We had a rental and we figured we’d go buy a few snacks and drinks to have in our room, however after we had checked in and paid, they informed us their policy is no outside food allowed to be brought in to the property. I thought they meant to the pool area which I can understand. However, I asked for further clarification and their policy includes no outside food in the room as well.

Felicidades, toda la instalación rebasó lo prometido. Su personal es excelente, atento, resuelven las necesidades y siempre tienen un trato amable. Es muy recomendable la estancia. La habitaciones son cómodas y siempre limpias. El club de playa también tiene una buena atención y lo recomiendo por su vista y sus bebidas y alimentos. Es accesible porque el hotel tiene transporte, casa media hora y la vista del club al mar es increíble

Nice yard with a pool. Their beach club, which you need a free shuttle to get to, is amazing. Little options in their restaurant. Far from the tourist places, taxi is needed. Nothing to do in the near area around it. Bring mosquito repellent. No elevators to get up to the 4th floor.

El lugar como la mayoría en puerto al parecer son tranquilos, el personal es amable y atento, la playa mas cercana es bacocho. Las instalaciones son algo antiguas, en la habitación que estube no tuve agua nunca en el lavabo apesar de que lo reporte varias veces, y los aires acondicionados deberían darle mantenimiento guardan demasiada suciedad.

The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive, which made our stay more pleasant. However, the comfort of the rooms left much to be desired. The mattresses were too soft and saggy, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep, and the pillows were extremely hard. Additionally, the water pressure in the shower was insufficient, making it difficult to bathe. If these aspects were improved, the hotel experience would be much better.

This was our third stay in 12 months. The hotel is perfect to relax. The staff are excellent. The reception staff were very welcoming with an excellent demeanour. Even though English is not their primary language they tried their best to.help you. The restaurant staff were very good , Renato at the breakfast and the mid day bar was amazing and he speaks excellent English and helped us with a billing problem. Emilio in the night bar and restaurant was a true gentleman however he does not speak English but with our ability to speak and understand Spanish,,,somewhat !!! we managed. Do yourself a favour and if you are going to Puerto Escondido stay here you will not be disappointed. We certainly were not and will be back soon

The staff at this hotel definitely went out of their way to make sure I had a good time especially a gentleman name Renato ! The housekeeping staff were excellent and always making sure you didn't need anything cleaned or any towels !

The restaurant and beach club staff was great, the food was very good. However, the reception staff was rude and not very helpful. The A/C in our room went out and it was burning hot for 2 days. When front desk was called (at least 4 times) their response was always “we will check to see how long it will take to be fixed”. There was no hot water so showering was terrible. The hotel itself is outdated, we stayed in a 2 bedroom suite and it was big but like I said, without A/C it made for a miserable 2 days. Stayed 5 nights total.

El menú del hotel me pareció muy rico, tanto el desayuno buffet como las comidas. El club sándwich y la hamburguesa estaban muy ricas. El personal fue muy amable en todo momento, nunca hubo un mal trato o desaire. El hotel es muy tranquilo y bonito.

Pésimo que contrates un servicio y llegando al hotel resulte que tu reservación es diferente. Yo pagué por una habitación con vista a la alberca y cama KS y llegando con el pretexto de darme una “mejor habitación” y de recibirme antes del horario del ChI (3pm) me dieron una habitación con 2 camas matrimoniales y casi en el sótano, al fondo de un pasillo y mi vista a la calle.

Pésimo que contrates un servicio y llegando al hotel resulte que tu reservación es diferente. Very close to the airport which we wanted. FYI- no elevators which was fine for us but good for others to know. Bed was comfortable but towels although clean, they were fraying. One of them really should be put out of service and used as a cleaning rag at this point. It’s is a residential area so nothing in walking distance to grab a quick bite. We had a rental and we figured we’d go buy a few snacks and drinks to have in our room, however after we had checked in and paid, they informed us their policy is no outside food allowed to be brought in to the property. I thought they meant to the pool area which I can understand. However, I asked for further clarification and their policy includes no outside food in the room as well.

The Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is relatively close and within walking distance to the beach. The parking area is a bit narrow. There are no elevators so if you are like us and traveling with an elderly person perhaps contact them before making any reservation or you may be stuck on the 5th floor.

Nice yard with a pool. Their beach club, which you need a free shuttle to get to, is amazing. Little options in their restaurant. Far from the tourist places, taxi is needed. Nothing to do in the near area around it. Bring mosquito repellent. No elevators to get up to the 4th floor.

The staff was very friendly. This is an older property with lots of pretty trees and foliage .The pool area was very pretty and well maintained. There is no hot water in the shower !! Although we had a 2 bedroom w kitchenette, the stove is locked except for rentals of one month or more.There is no coffee pot or means to make coffee. you must buy coffee at the restaurant on site. The location itself is not convenient or near anything except the airport. There is a small beach about 5 blocks away that you can walk to. You pay 50 pesos to access it through another hotel . it is a short, steep path to the beach past another hotel that might be abandoned ecxept for the pool. The villasol has a beach club somewhere. But it was 1000 pesos per person per day. That seemed like alot so we passed on that option. We considered returning to this hotel on our way back from Bahia de Tungalunda but ended up staying in Zicatela- a ton of great restaruants and little shops everywhere.. If you have just a one night layover and don't intend to go sightsee. This hotel is fine.

This place is fine… nothing special. I wouldn’t stay here again. The food is really bland and service was good 20% of the time. I stayed here for their beach club… there was a lot of confusion when I arrived to. The only person who spoke English kept trying to charge me the day fee, but someone else who only spoke Spanish kept trying to say that I didn’t have to pay the day fee since I was a hotel guest. Since I didn’t speak Spanish, I was just standing there for 30 minutes confused about what was going on while they figured it out. Service was pretty good. They have two happy hours a day. Food was bland here too. I wasn’t crazy about the area either… I preferred the part of my stay that was further south in the town, which was more walkable (shops, restaurants, bars, beach). Before this hotel, I stayed at Casa TO, which was amazing and basically the same price: that’s where I’d recommend to stay in Puerto Escondido.

The location is close to city dining and offers its own resaurants. The restaurant located within the Hotel area has a very professional staff and tasty buffet food items. The restaurant located in the beach club serves very good and unique dinner options. The staff, notably Elizabet and Milton, are exceptional regarding friendliness and professionalism. By the time we left Villasol, we felt we were leaving family. Gracias for the best vacation of my life.

El desayuno bufett es cumplidor, pero nada extraordinario. No hay agua caliente en la regadera y el agua de la alberca es fria, sin mebrgo, lo compensa el calor. El menú de la carta del restaurante es muy limitado y el club de playa lo tienes que pagar por separado.

Used to love this hotel, it’s a small well maintained traditional hotel. However this time we found out they sold their beach club and now they charge over a hundred dollars per day to get in. Having access to the beach club as a guest was what made the entire experience great. Now not so much, we might not come back.

It is a very nice clean hotel with friendly staff. However, there were a few things about it that I did not like. There is no soundproofing. You can hear everything happening outside, in the hallways, and furniture dragging in the rooms above you. The pool was very hot. It felt like a hot tub. It was not comfortable. They offer pool towels. The towels are clean, but they smell bad from overuse. The food was overpriced for the buffet and some items from the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was mediocre.
