We have stayed at the Sun Rise a couple of times previously which was a good experience. This visit was different. I think there are new owners. I don’t think they were ready to open but they did. There were other visitors there as well. We stayed 2 nights and out rooms was not tidied up during our stay. No fresh towel, no refills on the coffee, cups, soap, etc. the trash was not emptied. We plan to search for another location on our next visit.

Friendly staff, comfortable bed, clean sheets and room furnishings. Excellent heater and water pressure. We had a newly renovated room, TV is a guessing game or we didn’t pay attention to instructions. Bathroom showed age of motel. Exterior needs attention. Free adult beverage a plus. Games available for cold cloudy day. Carpet in common area needs to be replaced. I would stay again for the price and location.

Booked a one night stay last minute on our way through. We were met with very friendly staff members who checked us in quickly and got us to our room. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. And you can’t beat the location and the view! We would absolutely return if in the area again.
