Downright Gabbler

I have food issues so I require a kitchen. I wanted to stay somewhere reasonably close to Inverness, but not right in it. Beauly was a good choice. The kitchen was a bit small and could use a little more storage space. I would recommend putting a shelf just above the fire blanket. It was sufficiently stocked. The fridge is small, but it was good enough for us. They might have some instructions on how to use the heating system for people who come from North America. We didn’t have a lot of issues, but I didn’t know how to turn the heating on but by the time they answered, I had figured it out. Beauly is small so we could park right outside on the street without charge. They offer a whiskey night where Gary talks about the history of whiskey and there was a tasting of four different types. That night was really fun and they did their darndest to make sure I didn’t have any reactions to food. Gary’s talk is amazing.

We spent almost 2 weeks traveling through England and Scotland and this was by far the best place we stayed.

Very clean and charming room. And then it neighbors the best highland tweed clothing store in Scotland. Well worth a visit.
