Premier Inn Manchester Airport Heald Green

We loved the service. They went beyond themselves to help us and make our stay the most pleasant they could. We left to early for breakfast on the day of our flight, and they kept more than enough breakfast ready for us at the reception to take with us when we left. They had provided us with a fane as the AC did not work, however it did not really do it's job. There was plenty of towels and housekeeping did an excellent work! The property itself was a not up to standards. The outside could be cleaned more regularly, the AC did not work, there was a smell in the room because of the humidity and no fane in the bathroom. The window could not be opened and I could see the humidity inside the double window when we came back to the room. The floor squeaked a lot. It looked like they had recently renovated within the last 5 years, however only superficially with paint and a new carpet. The hallway we where in (room 30-40 I believe) must have been an old one. Ask for another room somewhere else if they have availability.

The hotel is almost impossible to find at night. They have a road sign but it is not illuminated. I wasted at least one hours trying to find the place, which it turns out is managed by the hotel next door. In addition, the exit door for the hotel was clearly marked BUT LOCKED. That is a serious issue that must be addressed Realistically, this is not a hotel. I would describe it as a clean, but privative doss house.
