*DO NOT RECOMMEND* Property is very dated, mold growing on the ceiling in the bathroom, debris left on the floor when we arrived to our room. Very creaky beds, only one dinky lock i wouldnt trust to lock the door to my own home let alone a motel with 2 exterior doors for a couple of female travelers. Ended up using all the furniture in the room to barricade the doors and still didnt feel safe. Absolutely ZERO amenities, tv was tiny and poor quality and very hard to use also no instructions or tv guide available. Only good thing was the staff was friendly and gave a $20 discount for the confusion of no breakfast served anymore. Could have stayed somewhere cheaper and had more amenities and felt safer.

Motel was inexpensive. Mostly clean, comfortable bed. Its evident that its an older buiding with few updates. No amenities. If you just need a basic low cost room, this is the place.

No frills, somewhat tired motor lodge with a little life left in it. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the location is convenient, and the staff is friendly. If you're not looking for anything fancy, this is the place.

Manager accommodated our request to locate a later arriving relative close to our room. After we fried our keys, with a cell phone, they delivered replacements to our room. I love being able to park my car right next to the room door. Beautiful view of the lake out our window. Price was the best in town. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean comfortable room with a lake view. Good facilities and friendly helpful staff.

Simple, easy to find and affordable. In town for one night for a volleyball tournament and it was perfect Bed was comfortable and had everything we needed with no added bells and whistles.

Nice facility, it has a little age on it, but it is well kept and clean. The lake view from my room was nice. It is a little difficult to find.

Loved the place, needs more outdoor furniture. Price was good, bed was comfy, owner was awesome, parming was convenient. Close to highway, happy other customers. Overall would stay again in a heart bump.

I have stayed here years ago in 2016 and then again just yesterday and it's really a great place. Very clean and pretty quiet for being next to the freeway.... things seemed really good they left some extra soaps and there's a coffee machine and a desk with a modern TV flat screen and a door that leads out to the Lake View.... really worth the money it's also convenient there's a gas station right at the corner of the street and there is a Safeway grocery store at the very next Freeway Exit, one Exit north... parking was very simple and it was a great stay. Also the mini fridge was useful! I'll be back when I need to, thanks!!

Very clean and comfortable. Only downside was that the heater is very noisy. Nice view of the lake and close to restaurants and shopping.

Moldy coffee in the pot and moldy coffee in the filter. The sheets had stains and the bathroom was nasty. This was a landing pad for an event we were going to but it was nasty enough I paid and slept in a completely different hotel. Stay away from this place like a plague the great view is wasted on the fact that it is clearly managed improperly and maintained even worse. Would never go back.

Room was dirty. Don't think the sheets on the outside bed had been changed. Chips of paint or dirt under the sink

Not very clean, flies in the windowsill, weird smell. Air conditioner and hot water in the shower worked though.

I liked the lake view but the room floor was dirty has clearly not been mopped or swept my sons feet got dirty within the firsr 5 minutes of entering the room requested a two queen bed but the beds were clearly not queen sized beds they were full size beds

For a motel, this was very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the management is doing well with the upkeep on the establishment. The mattresses are newer, they were firm and comfortable and the rooms, while older, were very clean and well maintained. The WiFi really didn’t work for us and some of the other patrons were a little unsavory, but I didn’t feel unsafe. Overall I am quite satisfied with my stay, especially considering I would have spent 2.5x the amount I spent to stay at the national brand hotel right across the street. Added plus for the lake view out the back of each room!

I don't think they clean the rooms, just make bed and put in towels. Microwave had old food in it. Floor so dirty that, when we showered the tub had major dirt(almost mud) on floor. Laundry room was filthy, probably cleaned a month ago. The only thing management said was "It was up to us to report and then they clean it". TV-new it 80's, and small.Cheap and worth 1/2 the price we paid. We came to motel and went right to sleep, Management said to late to report because we used it. We cleaned frig, tub, washer, dryer,and microwave. We just used towel to wipe floor, they probably had to throw them away because of the filth. We don't know anyone that would approve of referring this motel, except to deceive others.

The property is not extreamly clean. We were worried about staying there by the looks of the vehicles in the parking lot. When we went into the office to check in at 2:45 pm (check in is at 2pm) and get our room we were given a key card for our room. When we opened the door to our room the beds were not made and we thought we were in someone else's room. I checked the door number and it was correct. I went back to the office and told them that the room was still dirty and hadn't been cleaned. The lady apologized and said ti wait while she texted her cleaning lady. I waited and she gave me another room key card. We went to gi to that room and the door was wide open and sheets were on the floor. By this time my wife was really not happy since this was her birthday and this was the first day of her birthday getaway. I told the lady at the desk that this room was dirty also and the door was wide open and there were no cleaning people near it. She said to wait again while she got ahold of her cleaning person again. I told her after have been givin 2 different rooms that were both still dirty 45 minutes after check in time that we were not going to stay there and we would find a different place to stay and bid her goodbye. We did not stay in the motel and shouldn't have to pay for it.

The front desk person was rude and unprofessional. AC is in a weird location. So the room got very hot. The wifi didnt work.

I really wanted to love this hotel but my room smelled weird, it was tidy but not really clean. The only heater I could find was a wall heater in the bathroom on a timer which didn’t keep the chill out of the room with an outside temp of 22 degrees. I couldn’t find any extra blankets which would have helped quite a bit. Overall my experience was satisfactory and I would recommend the hotel for travelers due to convenience, price and supporting an independent family business.

Whole room smelt like cheap cleaner, multiple layers of sheet protectors on bed with hair on them. Main door did not shut on its own. Tub had no anti slip on it so using shower was EXTREMELY slippery. WiFI was spotty but that could have been due to room location.

This is an old hotel very near I-5 and road noise comes through the doors and single pane windows

Freezing room with very inadequate heating

I've stayed at my share of hotels over the past few years, and this is definitely a favorite. Check-in is quick, staff are kind, and it's always quiet. 5/5

I showed up to check-in and the office was closed. Apparently in the fine print of the reservation was the fact that they close at 9pm!!! I tried to call the number on the door and hit the button to contact people repeatedly with no answer! I flew in late and was met with this. Had to get another hotel. Never again.

Very well maintained and cleaned. Excellent customer service!

The Female property manager was kind and courteous. The Male manager was uninviting and seemed put out with my inquiries/questions. The room was clean. The air conditioners motor was running rough and very noisy.

The facility is older, but the location is nice, and the property has been updated well. Our experience with the management was terrible. We felt resented, and almost burdensome to this person. We booked through Expedia, and the amenities showed a continental breakfast, which had been discontinued without notice and indefinitely. Our stay was only one night, and the facility was clean and comfortable, but the management sucked. I would not stay here again, only because of the rude reception and treatment by the manager. Nice place, lousy personnel.

Check in has to be before 9pm, no flexibility with late arrivals and no office person after 9pm. Our room keys did not work and we could not get into our room and we had no way to contact the office for help. No on call number for emergencies. We never got into our room and we had to stay elsewhere. I returned in the morning and asked for a refund and after some questions they did give me a refund.. The office lady was kind but I would not recommend staying at an Inn that doesn’t have someone available for emergencies.

When issues may arise the host is very very attentive to resolving them.

This hotel is run by a mom pop shop. The customer service really BAD and non-existing! On the same day I checked out, I realized I lost a phone charge inside the hotel. As I planned to drive away that same day and need a phone charge inside my car. So I went back the hotel try to look for. However the receptionist did not find the charger at lost and found; and called owner of the hotel. This was when it got really bad. The hotel owner said over the phone - the housekeeper has left the day, they do not have a phone charger in the lost and found. So either they had thrown it out in the garbage or I shall come back to ask for tomorrow. So I proposed - can you please ask the lady at front desk to open that room and re-check again maybe the phone charge is still inside the room. She flatly refused! The hotel parking lot had only 2-3 cars, no customers were waiting. The hotel rooms is open to an open walkway. It would only take 1-2 mins to walk to that room and check. But she flatly refused. I would never come b am this place again!

Good bed, clean comfortable room. Nice view of lake with a back door to sit outside. Exterior fair. Twisting streets to get to property. Use map. Would stay again.

I was driving from Vancouver Island to San Luis Obispo, California and needed a place to stay. Lakeview Inn was very convenient to the freeway. Good for those on a budget.

This property offers alot for the price. We have no complaints. They do not offer breakfast, but for the price savings, I can deal with that.

The back door to my room opened directly onto the lawn sloping down to the lake, and the window afforded a wonderful view of the lake, herons, a bald eagle soaring around the lake, and some sort of small creature swimming toward the bank. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The only drawback was that the breakfast room was closed down. But otherwise, excellent. I'm a regular traveler between Portland and Seattle and will stay there again if I leave home late in the day.

The property was fine, it’s a low cost motel just off I5 so didn’t expect anything fancy. I checked in little after 4,so not late. Gentleman working desk had his toddler crying at door when I entered office, and seemed irritated he had to stop sweeping to check me in. After checked in very abruptly.. “ there’s no breakfast “, I said that was fine. He just handed card key and walked away. Not the friendliest that’s for sure..

I was not made aware that the latest check-in time available is 9pm. Had to reschedule my plans for the day to make check-in. The room smelled like a musty basement full of sponges. The room was very cold when we first entered. The only thing heating the room was a cheap wall heater. No breakfast, no coffee. Should I go on?

Pretty good, in general...nicer than it looks from the outside - seemed clean - staff (when there) were helpful - room had refrigerator and microwave and desk - allowed late checkout - property is on a lake, but next to freeway - heater/AC was extremely loud; luckily, we brought earplugs - breakfast was advertised, but no longer available - wifi password was very long and confusing and there were different wifi's, depending on which room you were in - front desk only available from 9:00 to 9:00.

Really nice lake view, pretty quiet considering how close it is to the highway. Breakfast looked great but we missed it. Some stains on the comforter/had that "old building" smell but otherwise a great spot, would return again (especially to stay at for STP!).
