Expensive parking

I travel back-and-forth from Pensacola, Florida to Gainesville pretty regularly for doctors appointments down UF Health. I always try to stay at the Hampton Inn. Available. I’ve never had any disappointments that rooms are always clean. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is amazing.

All good.

The hotel itself is a little worn and could use a refresh. The mattresses were bad and we woke up both mornings with terrible backaches. The breakfast was horrible and didn’t offer many healthy options. Our room was only half cleaned. One of the beds was made, and the other one was not. Trash was not emptied, and nothing was refilled. There were so many homeless people in front of the hotel and they were continually asking us for money. I did not feel safe. Some of them were quite aggressive.

amenities too old, breakfast was for a poor person did not met my standars,and the staff that check us in and out that was same person needs improvement very sad for a young person, room was ok.
