It was nice. Definitely good to get off the scallop boat I came in on for 3 nights. Was bummed the hot tub was gone. Rasputans around the corner was a fun spot. Good proximity to everything we needed. Only down side I would say is I’ve stayed numerous times over the last five years and it seems like the construction never stops.

The room smelled and felt musty/humid. The rubber base is pulling away from the wall, the towels have stains, and there is even a hole in a wall. Because of the waterfront bar and live music, there was also no parking when my kids and I came back from dinner. The lot was full from the locals at the bar. Since we were on the first floor, we had all the lights from cars coming and going all night. We could hear the band clearly, it was that loud, and the patrons were yelling outside our window and we hardly got any sleep. The gym was out of commission, signs claiming they are under renovation, and the advertised free breakfast is not a thing. From what I heard up from, the hotel had been “under renovation” for a long time with no work actually being done. I left early for a race, paid extra for my kids to do late checkout. I didn’t find out from them until well after we left that they couldn’t take showers because the shower wasn’t working. So much for paying the extra fee. I consider the $270 I spent a total waste. This isn’t a resort; it’s a low budget motel.

Stayed with my kids and fiancé for my daughters birthday. Staff was super nice and helpful which is always great! Free coffee in the lobby which was great because the coffee machine in our room Didn’t work. As far as the room the tub was rusty, coffee machine didn’t work. Also alarm clock and phone buttons all were broken. Pool area was warm which was GREAT, but the pool water itself was freezing! We thought it was a heated Pool not a heated pool area? So that was confusing. Also bummed that the hot tub was still all covered up after almost 3 years from my last visit. Over all was an ok visit for the price we paid.also not a fan of the side doors to the hotel not locking? Didn’t even need a key to open the doors. Not safe!

Rooms are small, hard to regulate the temp- either freezing or hot. The bathrooms were redone but the floors and corners were filthy with years of grime. The hot tub is permanently closed. It’s an old hotel that they have attempted to modernize without success.

Before booking on Sunday and arrive at the resort Monday I called the front desk. I mentioned online it shows live music and a bar they said yes I also asked if the gym was open and if they had free weights they said yes! When we arrived the gym was closed and being remodeled and I was also informed the the live music was only on the weekends. When we went to pack and leave on Wednesday we found the entire area around the air conditioner socking wet and so were our clothes!

Check in was quick, and parking was convenient. Pool area was not great. Carpeting around the pool. Hot tub broken and boarded up. Outdoor bar was closed Saturday night, despite really nice weather. Room was clean, but smelled strongly of fragrance and individual toiletry bottles in the bathroom were half-filled. Overall, just an OK stay.

Wow. If you want a hotel with no one at the front desk EVER and each request met with a "can't" rather than what they can do for you, then this is the hotel for you! At check-in, we were assigned a room on the 2nd floor and needed to have a different room on the 1st floor due to disabilities and the lack of an elevator. The request for a different room was met with inconvenience rather than accommodation. I'm sure, at one point in this hotel's life, folks came to this hotel as a luxury resort, now, it's in desperate need of rehab and upgrades. The wallpaper in the lobby is held on with painter's tape - might as well just use duct tape, at least that will stick. I wondered if they were funding their rehap/upgrades on drink prices ($12 for a small bourbon and diet Coke). The bartender lied to me and said that was the average price in the area - I'm guessing the "area" is the hotel because the other "area" places were not as high and you got more for your money. The icemaker was broken (try finding a desk clerk to get ice from the restaurant next door). The hot tub permanently closed. It was just one thing after another with this hotel... I was very disappointed I spent so much money on a hotel room for little amenities or benefits. I'll end this on a good note, the bed was comfortable and the shower was great!

The room was clean and in better condition than the hotel itself. The pool was very nice and the kids enjoyed it. Unfortunately it is not a great hotel for kids, however, since there is a large outdoor bar with insanely loud live music until 11. If you need to fall asleep before 11 you may want to make another choice.

Room was terrible. Not clean at all considering that there were dirty used needles under the bathroom sink clearly in the open. And the in room coffee maker was covered in old coffee. it is an older property. They are in the process of doing updates, but sometimes there’s only so much you can do. There were ants in our room in our bathroom. I think it could be cleaner the photos online made it look nicer than it really is.

Did not look like the photos on Expedia. The room needs updating the beds looked and felt like roll-away beds and there were black hairs in our bath towels. We literally just needed a place to crash for a few hours while traveling and that’s exactly what we got. Nothing fancy, but we could have done without the hairy towels.

The hotel is being renovated. We were placed in a room that had some updated and modern features. However, the window was cracked and held together with duct tape. The curtain was broken so the room was very bright in the morning. Parking lot had a lot of trash and crumbling pot holes. There was chipped paint in the room, the room clearly had not been dusted and the lamp shade was stained and filthy. It was very disappointing and when tried to speak with manager I never heard any response or attempt to rectify the situation . It is a shame because it looks like a modern clean hotel but it is the antisthesis.

Bed sheet had gross stains on it. Thought door lock didn't work but found that I had to put my shoulder into it to pop open. Heard everyone else's door be forced open all night/morning too. There's no outlet near the bed to plug phone into and no clock/alarm. TV didn't work. Management..... Take a look at room 138.

Not the greatest experience. No sound proofing which makes it super noisy in the rooms. Bed was not very comfortable. Needs more outlets. Was an ok place to stay close to the ferry but would not return again.

The hotel has had a facelift recently, so things looked bright and clean. But there was a lack of attention to detail that was troublesome. In our room the extra security latch was broken (missing a part of it) the tv wasn't working properly becsuse someonr had removed the cable and they had to bring a new one, and the lamp on one side of the lamp was unplugged - snd there was nowhere to plug it in. Judt annoying stuff.

I’ve stayed here before in years past. The property needs to be renovated. The beds were not real comfortable. The electronics in the room were outdated. There was a lot of disturbance in the hall and because the phone didn’t work I had to call the front desk for my cell phone to get some relief. There was no breakfast. Hopefully this will be remedied. It sits in a lovely spot.

The previous reviews are right: it is a very noisy location. We stayed from Sat to Sun and the super loud music was going on until Midnight! You cannot sleep if you don’t have earplugs! The loud AC also made a sound in the morning like a fire alarm. The deluxe studio didn’t have a kitchenette as the advertised images insinuated. This was very disappointing since we brought food for a breakfast and planned on cooking. The room was big but completely not equipped. The most annoying thing was the fact, that the curtains were to small to cover the very dirty windows-no privacy and no rest in the morning! The bathroom was big but has neither counter top nor cabinet where you could put your cosmetic bag. I mentioned it’s our anniversary-the staff didn’t react or do anything! Very poor! I know for sure we won’t come back!
The previous reviews are right: it is a very noisy location. We stayed from Sat to Sun and the super loud music was going on until Midnight! You cannot sleep if you don’t have earplugs! The loud AC also made a sound in the morning like a fire alarm. The deluxe studio didn’t have a kitchenette as the advertised images insinuated. This was very disappointing since we brought food for a breakfast and planned on cooking. The room was big but completely not equipped. The most annoying thing was the fact, that the curtains were to small to cover the very dirty windows-no privacy and no rest in the morning! The bathroom was big but has neither counter top nor cabinet where you could put your cosmetic bag. I mentioned it’s our anniversary-the staff didn’t react or do anything! Very poor! I know for sure we won’t come back!

At 4pm for check-in, my room was not ready (check in is at 3pm). No hotel staff present except housekeeping. The person who checked us in was working the front desk and cleaning rooms. There was a sign on the front desk that said “be back soon” but waited for almost 10 minutes before someone showed up. AC unit had instructions to use thermostat on wall, but there was only a patch in the wall where there must have been a thermostat in the past. A Sweet N’ Low packet was placed over the peep hole. Remote had no back, so had to hold the batteries in place to use it. Comforter on the bed had bleach spots. Could not wait to check out!

We called to check in early for (2pm) and were told we could not as the room was not ready, no worries. We went to check in to the hotel at 3:45pm (45 minutes after check-in time) and were given room 138, we drive over, park and go into the hotel open 138 and someone is living in the room! All clothes, bed not made, toiletries, shoes etc. Luckily no one was in the room when we entered. Went to get a new room (106), key does not work, got a new key, finally into the room and the bed had SAND in the sheets! To top it off, in the morning we opened the blinds for a little light and the lobby area looks directly into our room and some guy was sitting on a bench watching us. Woke up in the morning to leave and there were broken down cars in the parking lot and several bottles filled with urine! We would NEVER return here.

Stayed here the night before taking the New Bedford Ferry over to Martha’s Vineyard. Easy 4 min drive in the morning. It’s located right in a marina. Nice. No breakfast available there, so you can get something at a few places down near the ferry.

Travelling alone and visiting friends in the area - I chose to stay here due to the advertised marina front bar and on property restaurant. Some ongoing construction did impact movement to the bar, and there was a completely separate entrance to the restaurant (walk around the building and enter from the side). However, the room was clean, the restaurant food was quite good and everyone was friendly. The only downside was a couple of propped doors (letting bugs in and a security concern) due to the construction - which I'm assuming will resolve shortly.

The room smelled and felt musty/humid. The rubber base is pulling away from the wall, the towels have stains, and there is even a hole in a wall. Because of the waterfront bar and live music, there was also no parking when my kids and I came back from dinner. The lot was full from the locals at the bar. Since we were on the first floor, we had all the lights from cars coming and going all night. We could hear the band clearly, it was that loud, and the patrons were yelling outside our window and we hardly got any sleep. The gym was out of commission, signs claiming they are under renovation, and the advertised free breakfast is not a thing. From what I heard up from, the hotel had been “under renovation” for a long time with no work actually being done. I left early for a race, paid extra for my kids to do late checkout. I didn’t find out from them until well after we left that they couldn’t take showers because the shower wasn’t working. So much for paying the extra fee. I consider the $270 I spent a total waste. This isn’t a resort; it’s a low budget motel.

Overall the Seaport Inn is a good place to stay. The staff is excellent and very helpful. The rooms are clean and neat and well airconditioned with loads of options on the TV. The main short-coming is that there is no breakfast and the restaraunt is indian themed which is of minimal interest. The entertainment on their patio is loud and youth oriented and makes itm almost impossible to park if you return from your days outing while the entertainment is going on. It is also somewhat combersome for older people to get their luggage to their room.

My wife and I stayed at the property for two nights. Good part: The evening live band and food. Cleanliness. All other experiences were not good: 1. We realized that we were given a handicap room only when we went to take a shower the next morning(with a large bathroom, the showerhead was mounted very low for handicapped people, and we had difficulties using it). 2. The bed area was very small. 3. There was a loud noise at night, most likely from some machine or the refrigerator. 4. The door was jammed. We had to kick hard to open the door. 5. The TV did not have the option to watch Netflix or other similar channels, even if I wanted to log in using my account or pay for the service. 6. The swimming pool is available only from 9 AM to 9 PM. No hot tub. 7. There were no additional services such as breakfast, spa/massage, etc. Overall, I won't call it a resort, but a motel with a high price (by calling it a resort).

We enjoyed our stay because we were able to see Ashley Wineland & her band play, with the convince of steps away from our room. The Black Whale was a fabulous place to have dinner just minutes away.

I booked a room with two queen beds. The hotel does not have queen beds they are small standard beds that are hard, small, and uncomfortable. Tiny room and shower is old with mold grout in areas, bottom of tub was dingy with stained lines, and rust ring around drain. Staff just said to leave if you didn't like it and get a refund from hotels.com. also charged more than I was quoted. 271.00 for a horrible room. Will never go back.

The location for us is Perfect! Easy to find, get in and out, everything is nearby and easy. Parking is great and included. Free Coffee in the lobby is GOOD! Staff is working hard and friendly! Not cheap but cost less than other hotels... Overall, a Great Buy.
